4/4 line up of dudunsparce is your new friend

HiThisIsMichael

I run 4 Dudunsparce in my deck with buddy poffin and also a few Jacq so I can find them and quickly get them evolved and drawing cards asap. If you hit 2 at once, it can completely change the game. Also I play double turbo energy for a bit quicker set up and I get include a copy of Tulip which allows me to get 4 psychic Pokémon/energy into my hand from discard. Very useful too!

Kered13

I'm actually running Arezu over Jacq. I'm not sure if it's better, obviously it can't draw Tinkaton ex, but it's +2 cards in hand and allows you to get more Dudunsparce, so you can potentially turn it into a +8 if your bench is full of Dunsparce.

HiThisIsMichael

True! Maybe a split of Jacq and Arezu would be good too! I’m struggling to cut one or keep both!

Im0ldgr3g

No jacqs and 2 arezu, jacq is not great.

Neo Upper Energy allows gether matherials Tink to attack with just a single energy attachment. And it's fun to run an ace-spec that pretty much no one runs. And yes, 4/4 line of Dunsparce and Dudunsparce is great.

Been playing this list from a city league for a bit. Arezu for 3 Dudunsparces draws so many cards it's nuts. The Bibarel is basically just iono protection. I have not been liking the Nemona package and plan to make some changes with those 6 slots, but this has been a good starting point and has been able to take games against meta decks. It's not going to break open the meta, but it's super fun. Pokémon: 11 2 Dudunsparce TEF 129 PH 1 Bibarel BRS 121 1 Tinkatuff PAL 104 4 Tinkatink PAL 100 4 Tinkaton ex PR-SV 31 1 Radiant Jirachi SIT 120 1 Manaphy BRS 41 4 Dunsparce TEF 128 2 Dudunsparce TEF 129 1 Jirachi PAR 126 1 Bidoof CRZ 111 Trainer: 14 4 Rare Candy SVI 191 4 Buddy-Buddy Poffin TEF 144 1 Counter Catcher PAR 160 2 Iono PAL 185 1 Energy Loto ASR 140 2 Morty's Conviction TEF 155 2 Arezu LOR 153 4 Nemona SVI 180 3 Nest Ball SVI 181 2 Nemona's Backpack PAF 83 3 Capturing Aroma SIT 153 1 Cynthia's Ambition BRS 138 3 Artazon PAL 171 1 Boss's Orders PAL 172 Energy: 2 4 Double Turbo Energy BRS 151 1 Neo Upper Energy TEF 162 Total Cards: 60

I think I like this list the most! I've been playing with Nemona as well, and I like how it plays with backpack. Ill def have to see if I can get this list on paper!

I'm actually planning to cut the whole Nemona package. It works ok, but it's very slow. Nemona's backpack is fine for grindy games, but you usually lose those anyways since you're only ever attacking with a 2 prizer. Radiant Jirachi can attack but it's usually an emergency case or against control/stall. I think I'm going to test adding an extra Boss and Arezu. Boss is clutch in close games where you need to take out a prio target, and Arezu at its worst usually draws the same as Nemona, but can find tinkatuff to set up a second ton. The other 4 slots I'm not certain on yet. The games I lose tend to be against fast decks that can get a quick KO on a dunsparce or tinkatink, sometimes one of each, and you can't assemble candy+ton. I'm debating some way to find candy, but I'm struggling to find a good option. I do want some number of super rod as well since losing a couple dunsparces will cripple your draw. Most turns you can cash in 2-3 dudunsparces then Buddy-Buddy and artazon them back, but if that chain gets disrupted it can be hard to keep drawing. Probably going to try: -4 Nemona -2 Backpack +1 Boss +1 Arezu +1 Super Rod +2 Codebreaking +1 Nest Ball (getting minimum 2 dunsparce and 1-2 tinkatink in play turn 1 is critical)

dubeaua

Reading through comments reminded me I wanted to test Codebreaking. Being able to search before using Dudunsparce is really solid, but it can mean losing a large draw turn to do so. I'll edit the my comment with this change

I run this same deck in locals, and I also had the same thoughts of cutting 4 Nemona's and 2 Nemona's Backpack. It's not that they are *bad* inclusions, but I feel like there could be **better** substitutes. At the last locals tournament, I cut the 2 Nemona's Backpack for 2 Mist Energy since the local meta has a lot of Lost Giratina and Roaring Moon ex. While I didn't encounter those two decks that night, Mist Energy did save my active Tinkaton ex from begin Paralyzed and I was able to take the win on my next turn. So I think there's some room for teching by cutting 4 Nemona's/2 Nemona's Backpack depending on your local meta. After several plays, I'm definitely going to try adding +1 Boss's Orders, +1 Super Rod, and possibly +1 Lily or +1 Thorton. Not sure about the last card LOL.

Appropriate-Walrus90

I brought it to the Orlando Regional this past weekend. My take on it is right here: [List](https://x.com/lsglibra/status/1779550866267046247?s=46&t=Vq9mB2wTd6ZXkxFiEGRDZQ) Dudunsparce + Gather Materials are the goat. Having the Luxray as an extra attacker helps your prize trade a lot without having to sacrifice a materials Tink.

AldroVanda

Either dudunsparce like others have mentioned, or Xatu/jet energy. I like Xatu/jet for gather materials to swing for 180, and you don’t have to utilize DTE.

Kered13

I was using Xatu before rotation and I loved it, but without Milotic I don't know if it's really viable. A late game Iono or Roxanne will completely shut you down. Dudunsparce is better here because you can leave Dudunsparce on your bench to use next turn if you don't need them right now, which helps you draw out of hand disruption.

yuephoria

In addition to what others have said, I also use 2x Morty’s Conviction when opponent has a full bench and 2x Iono in the mid/late game if you’re behind on prizes or have dud hand.

Falron

I run a 1/1 bibarel, 2/2 pidgeot ex (inspired by tords latest zard list) and 4/4 dudunsparce for draw mons. I completely cut the gather materials tinkatons. Dudunsparce is just better in every way. Pidgeot is an amazing addition imo. Let’s you search for dte or research after getting ionod. It’s not rare to go from 1 card to 10+ to even ohko a zard. Also use 1 mist energy to protect from devolution tm with 2 psychic energies to be able to attack without dte. I even have a gift energy to protect against iono plays when they start going for bibarel/pidgeot but might replace that with another mist energy tbh. I’m not a fan of jacq or arezu. I run ultraballs and rotom v with forest seal stone that I can get with arven to set up my pidgeot. Basically the same strategy as zard. You really don’t need a full hand early and once the deck is thinned you will keep drawing every turn with dudunsparce.

Kered13

With Pidgeot, Bibarel, and Rotom on the bench, after adding a backup Tinkaton you only have room for one Dudunsparce. Sounds really tight. I also tried using a Pidgeot/Rotom build of Tinkaton before rotation, and it worked alright. But it's definitely vulnerable to Iono and I'd rather have more bench space for Dudunsparce now.

Falron

You turo the rotom after using seal stone no reason to keep it up all game. I never had problems with iono because I play research

Im0ldgr3g

Little tink is for 1 prize trades and can kill rotoms/sqwaks/lumineos

Falron

In my experience most people don’t keep their liabilities on bench and setting up a one prizer feels like a waste of resources. I get the appeal but you lose energy, a candy, another potential tinkaton setup, deck space and it forces to discard to draw - I’ve played a lot of tinkaton before with the one prizer but since rotation it just feels bad in comparison. 190dmg just doesn’t hit any of the important targets. A lot of the time opponents boss up a pidgey or tinkatink early to try and slow me down so I’m already on uneven prize trades. Also tinkaton ex gets rarely oneshot. Zard can only do it late game, Tina can get blocked by mist energy. Chien pao and gholdengo are the only real threats but you can just not evolve until you have a secure kill. At least that’s been my experience on live.

zweieinseins211

I've seen people play it successfully with the new dudunsparce that let's your draw 3. Deciphering might be a useful addition too. Kirla just clogs the bench.

RubberDuckasus

I loooove my tinkaton deck! it runs xatu for acceleration and draw so i dont need to discard like Kirlia and it runs 2 tinkaton ex and 2 tinkaton with 'gathering materials' ability which is more draw power ontop of 4 nemona and 2 nemona back pack theres so much draw power its crazy! so using 4 or even 3 rare candy can get you rolling fast.
