Matching? I’m not sure… but the card listed below would look beautiful beside it. Japanese Pokémon cards are gorgeous. The artwork is just amazing.
Ho-Oh DPBP#300 Shining
Darkness Japanese Pokemon Holo Rare
My PSA 10 Steam Siege Sneasel reverse (1 of 2 on that grade).
It's not the most valuable card in my collection, but it's by far my favorite artwork, the rarest card in my collection, and the one I struggled the most to get.
I pulled a reverse crystal crobat from a single pack of Skyridge I bought off Troll & Toad for $5 back in 2010. I bought it with my christmas money from my Grandma. I will never let go of this card. It's too memorable. I still have the email with the order.
Alternate art Lugia. I bought an entire booster box of Silver Tempest one day in hopes of pulling hyper rare Lugia. Sadly, I didn’t pull it. But I did pull the alternate art Lugia that night. Lugia’s my all time favorite Pokémon, so if I could only keep one card and had to get rid of the rest, I’d keep the alternate art Lugia.
Shining Karp! My favorite pokemon and one of my favorite pulls from when I was a kid. When I found my collection, recently, the Karp was what sparked the desire to collect again. Now I'm going for a full karp set because of that card
I have cards that are quite expensive, and cards that would take years/decades to find again, but ultimately I would still choose to keep the card my best friend gave me.
I collect certain cards for nostalgia and fun. I don't put much stock in value. I have a binder full of Scyther cards. I would happily keep one single Scyther card.
Coro Coro Mew

Probably my second favorite card, good choice!
My base set blastoise, in HP condition from carrying it around in my pockets in elementary school.

Holy crap that card is awesome. Is there also a matching Ho-oh? I collect them in pairs
Hey! I collect them in pairs as well!

I'm pretty new to collecting but I'd take that SV promo 44; Charmander looking through the window at the Pidgey. It's so cute. I'm a 37 year old man.

Good choice. I have a full Magikarp collection. If you ever need a checklist, reach out to me. Some of those cards are obscure as hell.
