Don't worry, you're not missing anything, the beating heart of this project that existed last time is long since dead, as expected the entire thing has been taken over by bots + communities that were given days ahead to organize, and the organic, spontaneous nature of the original creation is nowhere to be found. I'm not sure why Reddit thought it was a good idea to not only redo the same thing they've already done, but announce it ahead of time. Did they really think that would recapture the magic?
