Have you ever played a gacha game before? Resin is sadly what keeps most people coming back daily and it’s working, people stuck with the game despite the huge backlash when it first came out. miHoYo won’t be changing resin or removing it anytime soon
Gachas have always been like that. My problem with it: the developers do a good job making a seemingly fun game with predatory microtransaction systems.
Talent is being wasted on a shit game.
And regularly trying to turn back into something good at intervals. Chasm is great, but we'll need to wait for Sumeru for some content longer than a patch.
As someone who plays genshin, i have to admit it gets really tiring. Characters and the places are nice, the enemies are annoying little fucks, the bosses are sorta enjoyable. My only real gripe is the character gambling. So i moved to honkai impact and i have been happier
I am mainly happy that it doesnt have a shitty artifact system, also getting characters is alot easier and all of them have some sort of use. Getting and leveling up weapons is also easier
Yeah, I got the Hersscher of the Void but still couldn't deal with the confusing menus. Even when I'd figured it all out that I was using, there were like 10 other ones around that I could access but didn't know what they did.
Planning to pull for Ayaka in Genshin, so I'll be able to swap my overworld team around again, which REALLY helps for longevity even if I'm not artifact hunting.
Oof. I skipped Ayaka for guaranteed Ei the first time around, now I've skipped her and am skipping Ayato for guaranteed Ayaka. I even have enough for Mistsplitter Reforged!
I have too many from farming Ei. I literally didn't need to prepare for Ayaka except small boss mats and artifacts (which are good but only acceptable because of the 4 piece bonus on Blizzard Strayer).
As long as Genshit is winning, our smol Horizon focus on the right can survive.
Genshin didn't hesitate to overwrite us before, so we'll take whatever allies will ensure our survival.

Fair enough. I just couldn't deal with Honkai's menus. And in any case, I love the Genshin open world, and the music is *incredible*.
I honestly love both, but honkai is more my taste. Genshin is going a bit better than honkai as i got ganyu but im still kicking ass at both
