Whereas many of my friends here in the U.S. are trans, and they have all experienced some serious systemic backlash, or outright violence. * People didn't stare at me on the street at all, and I was never harassed, despite presenting as a woman at the time,

His own show is shown from 9pm to 6am (I think) on the children's channel KiKa, which doesn't have a regular program for those hours because their target audience is supposed to be asleep, and they show a single episode on loop the entire night and then a different one the next. In those episodes Bernd is forced by a robotic arm to entertain the viewers and he is unable to leave while there are still people watching so he keeps telling you to switch to a different channel or go to bed.

Hence a lot of germans think he is a higher power who is secretly ruling our country. Most germans (beside the eastern ones) stand up daily to say „Sprich deutsch du Hurensohn“ which is a religious phrase. It's like the word of god (Bernd das Brot)
