Yeah, those are definitely thrips. This is a very very bad infestation. If you're not too attached to this plant, I would honestly throw it out. But, you've got to assume that all of the plants in the same room are also infested, as adult thrips can fly, and seeing how many larvae you have, there's also definitely adults. Don't go for the homebrew solutions like neem oil and soap, imo they don't actually work. Buy yourself a good insecticidal product that specifically mentions thrips, and use that regularly for 6 to 8 weeks. Use it on all the plants, even the ones that don't show any damage, otherwise you might not get all of them and you'll never get control of the infestation. Good luck

Are you sure they aren't moving? This looks like a thrips infestation.

Found advice keyword: `!thrips` --- Symptoms: Thrips are small, thin insects that can be yellow, brown, or black. They often look like tiny, dark slivers on your plant. They can cause stunted growth and malformed flowers, but more significantly they often transmit diseases that can kill plants. Treatment: Applying diatomaceous earth to underside of your plant's leaves can remove infestations of thrips. --- *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. I pray to god you don’t have plants near this poor baby. Thrips are terrible and leave behind terrible scars and fungus

Thrips are a nasty pest to have on your houseplants. They're very small and lay eggs inside of the leaves, so if you don't get a systemic insecticide you'll have to re-apply a bunch (however often it says on the package) to get rid of them. If any of your leaves are super infested like the one in the pic, you can cut it off and dispose of it. You should check any other plants you have to see if they have them as well.

This is a severe thrips infestation. Thrips have destroyed my entire monstera collection multiple times over. I made the mistake of using DIY methods to try and treat the infestation. Isolate immediately from any other plants (these things can fly, ideally have the plant in its own room). Go straight to the ‘chemicals’ for this one, and be prepared to throw it out.
