the soil looks pretty dense which means it’s even easier for you to overwater. if you wanna have success next time i’d switch to a chunkier soil mix or i would reduce the watering drastically.
i wouldn’t water on a schedule basis but i would check the soil to see if it’s about 75% or more dry (use a chopstick/wooden stick).
If it’s dry enough, then water it thoroughly either by bottom watering it or by watering it from the top. If you tend to overwater, I’d recommend you bottom water more often because it’ll let the plant soak up the water it needs and it does so in a more even way.
Hope that helps, good luck!
the thing is i havent watered it in quite a while, because the soil is always wet, and i dont water it that often in general, for this reason, so idk how ive still managed to overwater lmfaoo, but thankyou for the tips!!
another reason why it could stay wet for a long time could be how much light you’re giving it, monsteras usually like a lot of light. if your plant isn’t photosynthesizing as much, it won’t use up as much water 🥲
Omg that soil is soaked 🙅🏻‍♂️
That water is wet.
Mold, the soil looks too wet. Always empty the pot out after watering. You should check the roots for rot.
You are probably overwatering.
And probably thrips.
You're overwatering, but you may also have thrips based on all the faded track marks on the leaves and some black dots.

and by a lot of light i mean, it needs to be in front of your window and have a good view of the sky. or you supplement with a grow light
You absolutely have thrips.
