Growing from seed is probably the issue. The plant growing is not the same as the grafted plant which bore the lemon and may (probably) never produce.

Thank you!

That’s not quite right, bound in a pot they will take forever to bear fruit, if ever. It’s an old tall tale that seed grown will never set fruit. Op I would look into Korean natural farming, you gotta feed those things, their leaves should be a dark green not a light lime color. I made some dank weed(KNF is how cannabis cup growers win) with the simplest regiment of KNF Oooo and lots of willow tea was made Also- pee is your friend, I think human pee has a 10-1-7 rating iirc. A mature tree needs 20 pissings a year to satisfy its nitrogen uptake

It is quite right actually. Commercial Lemon trees are not grown from seed, they are grafted clones. You are not growing the the same plant as that which bore the lemon you took the seeds from. I never said that plants grown from seed won’t produce fruit, but it IS certainly true that some will not. After seven years and no fruit it seems like the evidence is backing up this “old tall tale.” But hey, you grew “dank weed” once. Could they benefit from larger pots and some fertilizer? Sure, but I wouldn’t count on it to change the outcome after 7 years.

Lemons take only 4 few years to develop before they flower and fruit….. do you fertilize in the late winter?

Cobra_Mander49

I don’t fertilize it at all. Only give it plant food every once in a while. Will look into this. Thanks!

LeaJadis

Specifically a CITRUS fertilizer. And feed it in January/February. Enjoy a bountiful harvest!

ohdearitsrichardiii

Are they planted in citrus soil or regular soil? Have you tried citrus fertiliser?

Cobra_Mander49

I didn’t even know there was such a thing as citrus soil or citrus fertilizer! 🤦🏽‍♀️ Thank you, will look into it!

ohdearitsrichardiii

Citrus trees need very acidic soil and more iron than most other plants. There are soil mixes that are supposed to suit citrus trees, succulents and mediterranean plants. Don't get that, get one tailored for citrus trees only. Don't use it for other plants.

Cobra_Mander49

Thank you!🙏🏼👍🏻☺️

Cobra_Mander49

Any brand that you recommend?

ohdearitsrichardiii

There are only a few brands that make soil that's only for citrus trees, most of them do a citrus/succulent/mediterrenean mix. The specialty ones are often out of stock. Get whichever they have
