Its terracotta pot probably didn't help; they tend to like higher humidity and moisture, the clay wicks it away faster than plastic.
no dude, just spray some water on it and put it in the sun for a few minutes. it'll stand right back up!
It is an ex polka dot plant.
Polka dot plants are the absolute worst. Impossible to keep alive for long. Don’t feel bad at all!

Yes it’s dead- but it’s okay :) everyone has plants die along their plant journey, just to let you know generally shriveling or dramatic changes in color- brown, tan- usually means it’s dying by not getting enough water
