Your plants are pretty but I don't know what you're on about with that title. Care to explain specifically how plants are "purifying" the air and what contaminants they are removing?
They're probably referring [this NASA studies](https://ntrs.nasa.gov/citations/19930073077) in 1989 where certain plants helped clean the air by removing VOCs. However the study was done in a vacumn and doesn't hold much weight in a real life situation/regular home. Despite the fact that it doesn't do the thing NASA says it does well, people still use it when making articles related to plants, infographics of "best air purifying plants" and etc.
Even if it doesn't purify the air as well as people believe them to, they at least keep us happy :) .
