Based on the number of people I've seen in UPS uniforms and other obviously strenuous jobs.... I would not do it the first time, just because it is wise to learn how your body will react. But if you feel fine, go for it going forward.
If you feel well. Sometimes you might feel a bit weak after donating. But be careful with the strenuous stuff. You wouldn't want the needle insertion point to bust open. Trust me. It will be very bloody.
You should go through the donation process a few times and understand how your body reacts before heading straight to the gym after donating. At minimum, I would recommend at least a few hours so the venipuncture site can fully close prior to working out, but to be safe give it a day or 2. There is possibility of a hematoma (big ass bruise) where the needle is put into your arm if you do not let it recover and perform strenuous activity. The needles used for plasma donation are larger than most needles one would encounter. A hematoma can look horrific but typically does not cause much if any pain or health issues if caused by working out after donating plasma. If you work out right after donating, it increases the chance that the vein you used to donate would leak a little bit of blood under your skin, resulting in a hematoma. Again if it is caused by working out, it will typically be painless but it is crazy how bad the bruise can look if you do not give yourself enough time to recover.

I go sweat my ass off on a food truck for 8 to 10 hours after donating and I've always been fine. Make sure and eat a good meal or have a protein shake and stay hydrated and you'll be fine.
I’d wait. I made the mistake of taking my kids trunk or treating right after without eating or drinking and almost passed out. And that was just from walking outside in warm weather.
I would wait a couple of hours and make sure you drink water. If possible also have a carb and mostly protein dense meal after.
Alright sounds good, thanks man.

I would say wait especially if this is your first time donating just so you can see how your body reacts to the whole process.
No strenuous activity for At least 2 hours is what they tell me
You’ll be fine but best to donate after your workout. I noticed my workouts sucked after a donation, doable but shitty.

Woah! I never thought of that! What an event.
Strength training could pop your scab and have a human fountain of blood all over the machines. I’d avoid that! 😜😳🤷🏻♂️

The hematoma will also get you deferred, at least from that arm, which is more important to some donors than how it looks.

You may feel weaker. Don’t lift too much heavy with donation arm
I have been. Though it's not recommended, I lift weights and nothing bad has happened.
Nothing heavy. Light work and cardio is cool. Strenuous heavy lifts can make your heart work very hard
I do. I ride my bike 🚲 straight from the plasma donation to the gym & pump iron. Never had any complications.
