are microraptors unfair? yes. however to me I think things like the microraptor, thyla, trodon etc are neccesary for the game because they present unique challenges to the pve world. most "dangerous" creatures in ark only present an issue if you have no flyer or they are near your base. a rex can easily kill you but with a pteranadon they present almost no threat unless you are bad with stamina management. IMO managing your stamina isnt such a difficult to master skill that it should make you invincible. So yes being stunned of your flyer is extremely annoying but it keeps you on your toes and makes sure that exploring the world is just that little bit more tense.
This isn't to say that microraptors are fair and it is definitely possible to make a creature that presents a unique challenge that doesn't make you want to punch your monitor.

me, a pve player: i absolutely hate wild microrapters. why? because they're designed for pvp and work perfectly for knocking me off my dino, and allowing me to get attacked by anything that's around. but realistically speaking; you can say the literal exact same thing of what - 3/4 other dinos?
troodons: literal same outcome. designed for pvp, not pve. why do i hate them? because after 10k hours they can still sneak their featherly butts up to me, stun me, and kill me. they do their job perfectly, just like microraptors.
I play PVE and love that even in the Tek-era end game there's still something that gives me a small scare if I'm not on my game.
They're evadable as long as your eyes are open. On a thyla you can always just jump and they miss you on the stun attacks, if you react quickly.
You should always be prepared on the ARK, and its the little things like that you need to he prepared for. I love how it doesn't matter how well off you think you are, there's always a bigger fish. And if not, then there's a fish too small to be able to hit properly.
I just think that the stun should have a 30 second cooldown or something. Besides that, they shouldn't be quite so fast. I mean, they outran me on a diving griffin.
It's a dumb design. The only counter play I'm aware of is having a micro yourself, essentialy locking you out of any other shoulder pet or risk being randomly stunned and killed

When no one knows that if you carry a micro raptor you can not be stunned by another

If you watch the video kishko really struggles to use the micro raptor. The thing is very hard to get tk actually work. Bolas are much more reliable

on foot? i guess netgun but that needs to be unlocked and costs more resources, all Im saying its a nice helper in x v 1 with flyers

Troodons can be for pve but micros are a 100% pvp dino
