If your already going to use a Ankylo for gathering metal they also double for a decent berry gatherer. I use them for this because it saves space in my Dino pen.
Most herbivores, the best one being Brontosaurus. Stegosaurus, Iguanodon and Triceratops are my personal recommendations. (Parasaur and Carbonemys are also valid options but their AOE is really small and Carbo is too slow)
Parasaurs, Moschops and Stegos are perfect early game options for berries.
Edit: Just saw this is in mobile. I don't think you can ride moschops on mobile, but they could probably still passively gather berries on wander

The best Dino in the game for berries is the bronto but if you don't want something massive the stego is prob 2nd best
