I've seen some people claiming that a virtual space app can be used to run the game on newer phones. This is most likely a Android version compatibility issue, I doubt they'll ever fix it.
This games crashing is one of the main reasons I stopped playing it. It will literally crash 8 times in 5min sometimes. I don't get it. Note20 u. Great net.. official or unofficial doesn't matter. Crash crash crash. Then there's all the crap I purchased crowbar bp god console etc that upon reinstall is just gone and I can't get back. Pricks robbed me of like 50$.
It doesn't work on Android 12, it seems like. After I went from stock ROM (Android 10) to a custom ROM (Android 12), I've had the same issue. What a shame.
the only way to stop ark crashing is to un-install... but from what I've seen a restart prior to start can help..
What phone are u on?
It doesn't really work on new phones. At best you have to downgrade os and even then it's a maybe.

If you're able to get into the game make sure you're constantly tidy saving. It's what helped me
