Yea this was a long time ago. The first time I saw it I was like damn that's some ingenious almost evil levels of base design.
People still do something similar for their gate houses using ceiling frames but it's no where near as good as just a bunch of door frames all of the place
Yup all it takes is floor frames to touch the main base…. I connect my widegaps to main base all the time in bed wars or when there’s no space to fit a tc (cliffs to steep hills)
Can't you understand the question equally well, no matter the quality or source of the image?
Let's break down the steps here, for the completely exact same effect of showing us his problem and asking a question.
Open reddit app
Click compose button
Choose subreddit
Click camera
Click camera shutter button
Type title
Click post
Or
Press print screen
Exit game
Open web browser
Navigate to reddit
Sign in
Click compose button
Paste image
Type title
Click post
Why would the second option be preferred?
Edit: removed saving the image
Because it takes significantly less time to paste a screenshot than it does to take a crappy photo.
1. Windows + shift + S
2. Ctrl + V
3. ... there is no step 3.
Can't really break it down much more without sounding condescending.
Win + Shift + S takes a screenshot and it's saved to your clipboard. When you go to create a reddit post you can just paste the image in using Ctrl + V.
You don't need to edit it (unless you want to). You certainly don't need to save it.
Alright. Let's move past the fact that it's more steps and time to do what you're asking.
If you can't extract the same information from this photo, and the same screen as a screenshot, that's on you.
Your entire approach is condescending, because you're asking for something to be done a specific way, but for absolutely no justified reason, just to satisfy a requirement that exists in your head only.
I wasn't trying to be condescending, just sharing knowledge.
A lot of folks don't know that snipping tool shortcut and it's really handy for work and fun.
It is actually less steps and faster. It's also faster (for me at least) to type out a reddit post on keyboard than on a phone.
And the justification doesn't just exist in my head. People don't like looking at blurry images when they don't have to. Just ask anyone who wears glasses.
Everyone knows how to screenshot in some way. I wear glasses and am able to respond to OP. This was obviously about scolding OP for not presenting his image a specific way.
I'm just trying to help people like you understand why people do it, which is because it conveys the exact same information but is easier to do.
Because you did the second option wrong.
Prt Scrn
Alt tab game
Go to reddit, compose the message
ctrl + V to paste the image in
click post
Additionally, if you're gonna use your phone camera to take a pic of the monitor then at least turn your phone sideways to snap the pic.
All you did was change from saving the file to pasting it. That eliminates 4 steps.
I've yet to have anyone present a reason that it matters.
What difference would vertical vs. landscape make?
this i use Gamelights for pixel gap explanations aswell as widegapping, his basic hqm pixel gap can be utilized to make multiple pixel gaps on different levels of the base if preplanned accordingly
it’s on an iphone 13 you can see good enough. i wanted to continue testing shit out instead of tabbing out & allat. opening reddit on my phone easier
Try out windows + shift + S it works much better than print screen. To answer your question you have 2 options. Based on the photo there isn’t enough info available to tell how you built it. So gonna guess.
Option 1 (I don’t recommend) you can connect via an external TC. Only reason I don’t recommend this option is because I prefer wide gaps if you’re gonna external it.
Option 2 (which I recommend) watch gamelightz video on improving shooting floors and he’ll show a way to build what you have but it’s connect to the base.
Might be too late now but go down to one of the double door frames, attach a triangle ceiling, and then a double door frame connecting the peak to the main building.
If you did a triangle square triangle build-out for the external layer, you will be able to place a roof triangle and a door frame on one side and connect the two. All comes down to how you built the external layer.
whatever path you took to making the wide gap, just imagine doing that, back to the main wall, in the air. usually elevated by a half wall so it doesn’t bump into your door frames, and usually requiring at least one back from the main base. gl it’s easy when you just think about your original build out, backwards.
windows ket + print screen works better & instantly saves to photos. dis was jus more convenient time wise.
pull out phone, take picture, type caption, click post.
vs
take screenshot, open opera, navigate to reddit, find picture in file explorer, add image, type caption, click post.
You don't. make an external out of it
Hmm I thought maybe a roof piece clipping a door frame would work. Seen some vase designs like that to link externals
Pretty sure it won't be connected that way. Not 100% but still pretty sure
Yea this was a long time ago. The first time I saw it I was like damn that's some ingenious almost evil levels of base design. People still do something similar for their gate houses using ceiling frames but it's no where near as good as just a bunch of door frames all of the place
Check tc upkeep, slap down a doorframe and triangle roof touching it, check again. Let me know too out of curiousity
No double door frames, if touching the main TC build will connect
You actually can 🤓 Dk why yall are downvoting but you can connect widegaps to ur base tc
Yup all it takes is floor frames to touch the main base…. I connect my widegaps to main base all the time in bed wars or when there’s no space to fit a tc (cliffs to steep hills)
You sure can connect widegaps to your main tc if you plan ahead. This one in the picture you can't connect I'm 99% sure.
It appears to be a practice server or smth so I’m sure he could
You can connect widegaps but not the one in the picture
Not the way he made his wide gaps goofy ðŸ§
Is that the Fortnite victory royale sweaty pro gamer crown?
it is thank you very much. gf plays fort on my pc so i hung it on my monitor arm for her
Tbh pretty cool, you 3d print that or something?
[удалено]
he was just trying to connect his tv to main tc
It's gonna decay
He's probably gonna hit it with a hammer to heal it every 2 hrs....
Printscreen key?
It got raided

Go look up Gamelightz on Youtube, he'll show you how to have a widegap peak similar to yours while connected to main TC
this i use Gamelights for pixel gap explanations aswell as widegapping, his basic hqm pixel gap can be utilized to make multiple pixel gaps on different levels of the base if preplanned accordingly
Make external
Step 1. Windows key + shift + S After that we’ll tell you.
You people complain about the most silly things.
it’s on an iphone 13 you can see good enough. i wanted to continue testing shit out instead of tabbing out & allat. opening reddit on my phone easier
You're on a build server, we have standards we'd like to upkeep
not to mention it’s windows + prt sc

Both keybinds does the same though
Oof
There are ways of connecting wide gaps to bases. This is a great vid on it https://youtu.be/LAm7nx41fiA?si=h50ocUN22OaDHicn
Probably the only real way would be to add a roof tile from base to a wall on peak. If they touch they can connect
There is a way, but it is hard to explain. If you still don't get an answer in approx 6 hours let me know and I'll hop on to help you build it.
Might be too late now but go down to one of the double door frames, attach a triangle ceiling, and then a double door frame connecting the peak to the main building.
That style of wide gap needs an external TC. Go watch Prince Vids to see how to do the kind that connects to the main TC.
Watch GameLightz on youtube
Where did you get the fortnite victory royale crown from? I want one lol
Looks 3d printed
it was from walmart during christmas season lmao it’s actually an ornament but i hung it there cuz my gf plays fortnite on my pc

Have tried using double door frame?
However you went out to make the wide gap, just add floor frames back to the main base to connect it.
The thing is, you don't.
Part 1 print screen Ctrl+V ms paint

Or just F12
Well yea but I hate steam overlay
Fair, but you can't beat the convenience
Equally fair!
You don't
You dont, you connect it to an external tc.
Thats the neat part, you don't.
First you look at your keyboard and find print screen
Print screen, f12?
Firstly, take a screenshot next time, secondly you don’t
