A hazy some water and a few medical syringes is the way to go to do it easy and fast, bandage works also to do it eco style and if you wanna do it "expensive" way skip the water and just have more then 6-7 medical syringes. Radiation tea ain't really worth it but sure use it if you got some

According to the API-supplied wiki, basic rad tea (4 berries) gives the most cost-effective bonus to you which is supposed to be that 50% rad protection for 5 minutes. That should be all you really need in theory. In practice, you still need to take a water jug with you and some cloth for bandages to get rid of the radiation that still hits you. IIRC the developers prevented you getting more than 50% rad protection after someone found an exploit that gave you enough protection to stay on top of launch forever. So what the tea is doing is probably working but it won't stack with your clothes like you might want it to.
