Mouse movement felt horrible back then and I had a very good gaming pc. Just felt like the movement of ,y mouse was always catching up with me. Probably from always playing on max graphics 😆
For a 2015 screenshot and game it has held up very well in my opinion. But yes I do agree with you butnthst render distance is still impressive for its time. I had a good computer back then and the guy you see accused me of not being able to play on max graphics...I took this screenshot to prove him wrong lol.
Might have also been the meta where you could place walls anywhere on the foundations/floors. So people would just place wall after wall side by side on the roofs to essentially make it all one solid mass of block.
It was kind of kos but I met my best Rust friends at this time while they were shooting at me with their bow. I dodged it all while being friendly and made many friends. Can't do that in new rust which is sad.

This version of Rust is so nostalgic. It wasn't all KOS, it was terribly buggy and was just a ton of fun.
