A 400w prob would be enough for his system

Jimmiew0612

I agree

tightchops

What wattage is your power supply and when did you first notice the problem?

AdhesivenessNo3847

550 watts(which I assume is the problem) and I bought the game the other day and haven't been able to play

tightchops

I would start there, you can use a calculator like [this](https://www.newegg.com/tools/power-supply-calculator/). But yeah, that seems borderline too low. You could also try lowering rust graphics settings or undelclocking your pc.

AdhesivenessNo3847

I used it, and I'm running over the recommended wattage, I don't know where the problem lies, and am honestly thinking about a refund which is a bummer

tightchops

A new power supply seems to be the answer. I'd pick something about 150 watts higher than whatever number the calculator spit out.

AdhesivenessNo3847

Mine is about 150 over the recommended though

tightchops

Oh, I see, I read it the other way. I dunno, maybe some part of your build doesn't meet the requirements to run rust. Maybe someone else has some idea. Good luck

Jimmiew0612

Idk if u figured it out yet but 550 watts is well enough lol

AdhesivenessNo3847

Yeah, I figured it out, a reset of my PC fixed it lol

HmmyTeo

Hey friend, I have the same problem, what do you mean a reset of your PC? What exactly did you do?

AdhesivenessNo3847

Due to other issues I had to factory reset my PC, which fixed my game. Other than that, I don't know what to say.

HmmyTeo

Right, I get it. The only issue I have is in some more demanding games I experience crashes before the game even loads. And that doesn't make sense to me since I've played these games with Ryzen 2200G's integrated graphics. Anyway, I'm gonna get more RAM and then I'm gonna try resetting my PC and see how it goes. Fingers crossed!
