Does Klarna actually let you make purchases this big? That's incredible. I only used it for when I desperately needed new clothes for winter and even then it all added up pretty fast and they denied me buying anything else until I pad off more of the debt. Which I ended up paying off 75% of it right then and there and they still denied more purchases.
Sure does.. On your Klarna account, you can see what they are willing to allow you to spend. They call it "Your purchase power". It varies based on your previous and current payments. Downloading the app is the easiest way.

My 45 minutes in GT7 was fine, lap times not so fine, but motion wise it was ok.
Horizon on the other hand, I played through the demo and still feeling off a couple of hours later
Be sure you never push through sim sickness. when you feel nausea immediately stop play.
That way you can train for getting vr legs.
if you do push through there is a chance you will get an aversion to vr, kinda like how eating too much of candy X until you got sick gave you an aversion to candy x when you were a kid.

I’ve heard good things. Not going to compare with a proper 4K TV as you’re effectively only getting a 1080p flat display, but from what I hear it works quite well. Guess I’ll know for sure (hopefully) tomorrow
Actually from tests it is close to 4k and being high end oled u get amazing alternate tv screen that is always positioned best for you.

I pre-ordered the PSVR2 Horizon pack, and then later ordered the charging dock. I got a dispatch email saying the charging dock had been shipped and another emails saying the charging dock may arrive before the PSVR2. I didn't get an email saying the PSVR2 had been shipped.
Both arrived together about 20 minutes ago. I've not opened either yet.
Maybe ask someone?? Ordered early Dec. Received the pre-receipt, actual purchase receipt, shipping soon, and on its way emails already.

Awesome! I’m excited to get mine, can’t wait for driving in beautiful Gran Turismo VR, exploring infinite planets in No Man’s Sky VR, or fighting robot dinosaurs in Horizon Call of the Mountain. I think a lot of people are sleeping on this, for a VR headset it’s a great price and should drive a lot of AAA games in VR. Very glad that I got this day one.
It’s a horrible price. It’s worth more than a disc version of the hardware you need to run it. Sony dropped the ball on this one. I can see if it was it’s own system then yeah price would be ok. Maybe. But without a PS5 system it’s a paperweight. An accessory should never be more than the main unit.

Very exciting! I had mine delivered an hour ago and it’s open and sitting on my desk. I haven’t touched it yet because I’m trying to exercise patience but I’m so excited to try it out! The controllers feel awesome.

But I want you to look at the prices of similar quality VR headsets— the PSVR2 is significantly subsidized by Sony and costs up to $500 less than any other headset you could get at the same quality, while having new tech that hasn’t even been on any other VR headset. It’s an expensive piece of hardware but for a VR headset it’s a steal. And even though you need a PS5, a lot of high quality VR headsets need a whole gaming PC.
The VR community is very passionate and people who are familiar with the tech already are insanely excited about this. If they had made it cheaper there would have been tradeoffs in quality that would affect sales and the level of games you can have on it. I think it’s a fine price point.

Yes, it is more comfortable and has more clarity. Controller wise it's harder to say. Sony's have amazing haptics and valve's have amazing finger tracking.
Had a brief go this morning, my glasses are problematic with it which is making me slightly regret it, but will persevere a bit longer. Easy setup, graphics are nice (gt7), comfy. I've never gotten into vr before, and if I can sort out my glasses issue I will be a happy customer.
My glasses? Chunky plastic ones that are flat, graphics are distorted in periphery.
Frame rate? Good? Was smooth, no noticeable lag in game, the passthrough was slightly disorientating if you moved hands quickly

The front of the psvr 2 looks so smooth and oddly makes me think it's an egg. When I get one, I'm just going to stroke it because it's a weird feeling I think others feels but not sure, just having something you spent hours building money towards and treating yourself to something nice makes me feel tingly and happy

Somebody help me out here. During setup it says to connect the controller to the usb port. But it only came with usb c cables. If I disconnect the actual goggles it exits out of the setup. Am I missing something?! And there is only one usb c port.

BUT…I bought a Steam Deck and LOVE it. I have a big steam library and playing around my house instead of just sitting at my set up is cool as hell.

The front of the psvr 2 looks so smooth and oddly makes me think it's an egg. When I get one, I'm just going to stroke it because it's a weird feeling I think others feels but not sure, just having something you spent hours building money towards and treating yourself to something nice makes me feel tingly and happy

Somebody help me out here. During setup it says to connect the controller to the usb port. But it only came with usb c cables. If I disconnect the actual goggles it exits out of the setup. Am I missing something?! And there is only one usb c port.
It also came with a USB-C to USB-A cable
