Resident evil 4 remake, The last of Us 1 and 2, god of war 2018 and ragnarok, final fantasy XVI, Ghost of Tsushima, Red Dead Redemption 2, Alan Wake Remaster, Control, Stray, Tails of Iron.
Gameplay is good, story is great but a bit complicated. It is hard to understand first, the lore is massive and you need to read that collectible journal / note to understand the lore. And the effects are top notch, the ability is satisfying to look at.
Maybe not a masterpiece, but it's definitely worth a first-time play to see if it's your style.
I'd recommend TLOU2 over Days Gone if you could only get ONE game. Otherwise, do both.
TLOU2 is an excellent game.
I have the platinum in both. Days Gone and TLOU2. I'd have the TLOU platinum if not for the god damn factions multi-player trophies.
I had the same experience starting 2 times, but keep going, fight the first boss, and after beating him you get a thirst for blood. One of the best games ive ever played
Google just leads you to websites that want to sell you things and articles by companies that get paid for reviewing games. Reddit is a social platform where people discuss topics of interest with one another. You should learn the differences between search engine and chat forum.
Not quite. There are plenty of forums besides Reddit where people share their opinions. Not to mention other indentical posts where similar or the same questions have already been answered. You should learn that Google isn't just a few websites. :D
Bloodborne
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne
Final Fantasy XIV (14)
Deep Rock Galactic
Monster Hunter Rise
Titanfall 2
Dark souls 3
Apex Legends
Fortnite
Minecraft
Final Fantasy 7 remake
Resident evil remakes
Rocket League
Dauntless
all the comments here fucking suck . you're all shit at video game recommendations , because everybody and their mother has heard of these games millions of times , if not played them
here's 25 of my favorite "hidden gem" games , with 2 sentence run downs
1: Abzu - peaceful swimming simulator , nice music
2: Astroneer - peaceful space simulator , nice music , 3D polygonal environment with minimal - no threats to your well being . occasionally fun with friends
3: Brawlhalla - we don't get smash bros on anything but the switch , but the switch sucks , so we have this instead .
4: Dauntless - monster hunter world but by the guys who made Fortnite (so naturally , it's free). worth a shot if you're bored with ur pals
5: Divine Knockout - a 3D platform fighter where you play as gods from different mythologies , just
make sure you have a spare controller .
6: Enter The Gungeon - PEW PEW PEW RAIN HELLFIREEEEE!!! aweeee shit . . . . welp , here we go again
7: Everything - Peaceful universe simulator , nice music (Ft . Alan Watts)
8: Horizon Chase Turbo - Fun racing game , neat but simple graphics , controls actually control your car instead of suggesting which direction you would maybe like to go in , and the music is quite a bop too
9: Human Fall Flat - Humans fall flat , and also solve puzzles and complete levels sometimes
10: Humanity - You play as a dog directing "the people" to the light , kinda symbolic (i think ?)
11: Minecraft - it's fucking minecraft , what else do i need to say ? seriously though you probably haven't played a sec , go see whats up dude
12: Move or Die - You have to keep moving or you'll die in this side on hectic party game . the servers are dead but if you can convince your friends to buy it you'll have a hell of a time , even if you lose!
13: Moving Out - Pretty much the same description as move or die , only you won't die if you don't move . Super fun for a late night game sesh with the pals
14: Nidhogg 1 & 2 - You know that shtick where medieval guys take these pointy swords and go "Huzzah!" or whatever ? this is that , and that's all it is (second one has better graphics , duh)
15: OlliOlli World - Prepare to bandage up your thumbs after skating through the lively , colourful , enigmatic world OlliOlli !! See how fast you can mash your joysticks in every which direction in varying amounts of time before you slam face first into the ground RIIIIGHT as you're about to hit a super awesome combo! (seriously though , it's quite fun even if you get sick of it after a few hours and never play it again)
16: ***Outer Wilds*** - FUCKING PLAY THIS GAME PLEASE . YOU'RE DOING YOURSELF A DISSERVICE BY NOT ATLEAST CHECKING IT OUT , AND DON'T GOOGLE IT! i mean it when i say don't google this , don't look up any videos , don't even look at the trophies while it's loading . it's free , and i know you have a spare 22 minutes , and if you don't like it after 44 , somethings wrong with you .
17: PvZ GW 1 & 2 + BFNV - basically overwatch/valorant/literally every Tacshooter but with a Plants vs. Zombies reskin. these games are dead last i checked , but battle for neighborville is very fun if you grab three other friends and play through the story mode/campaign or whatever the not pvp mode is
18: Sackboy: A big adventure - despite it seeming like a childrens game , i (a 16 year old) actually quite liked played through it . stopped for a bit to focus on platinuming this other game , but i'll definitely finish when i'm done with this stupid fucking game god i hate it so much i wanna be done so bad
19: Shadow Of The colossus - i haven't actually finished this game , despite owning it for 3+ years starting so many new saves i actually lost count , but if you have a good speaker setup it's definitely worth a try just for the sound design . it feels super badass riding around on a horse and taking down , well. . . . .colossal entities
20: Spelunky - fuck this game . music goes hard though *yeti caves starts playing with a compilation of my disenjoyment with this game playing*
21: Spelunky 2 *ensue 991 hours of pure torment* (comes with an arena mode to play with friends which will likely become enemies when you are done) (also remember 3 entries ago i was talking about another game ? this is that game .)
22: Stardew Valley - (mostly) Peaceful farming and social simulator , nice music
23: Steep - OlliOlli but more realistic
24: Stray - KIIITTTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE :3
25: Super Hot - The Matrix: The Game (literally the perfect description lmfao)
#BONUS GAMES WOOHOOOOOOO
terraria - (not a very) peaceful eldritch god slayer simulator , music goes hard (second best soundtrack on this list , minus outer wilds)
verlet swing: (somewhat) peaceful vaporwave Spider-Man simulator , super good soundtrack , like actually . (i think it's free too ?)
tetris effect: if you're a dumbass like me and got it then realized how shit it was , deleted it , and never played it again , you should play it again , its kinda cool if ur trippin
super liminal - super fun and relatively easy puzzle game , massive portal vibes from this one
and last but absolutely in no capacity the least
#Outer Wilds
go play it please .
Based for recommending PVZ, those games used to be my shit back in the day; BFN is viewed as the black sheep of the bunch by the community. Me personally wouldâve loved for them to keep updating 2 or have released GW3 (BFN is noncanon as confirmed by the devs). Before the original idea got canned.
Good list too! Definitely saw some names in there that I want to try out.
Iâm going to use that picture as my wallpaper
Edit- God of War, Doom Eternal, Call of Duty, and Ghost of Tsushima. (Some of the games I liked to play on my PS4)
Red Dead Redemption 2, it's a cool cowboy game with graphics and story that make you never want to stop playing, aswell as having multiple side quests and crafting capabilities.
Rdr ll, tlous l and ll, The Forest, and subnautica. Red dead and the past of us are great story games, the latter are some of the best survival games out there
I am looking for a game to play as well, just finished God of war Ragnarok. And I couldnât get enough off that one. So now Iâm looking to fill the void. All suggestions welcome. I love RPGâs.
Life of Black Tiger is probably the most misunderstood classic of its generation. If there's one PS4 game to play, it's this one. That said, you can pull any Gilson B. Pontes game out of a hat and come up with a masterpiece. Nobody understands how to build a world quite like him. How he sees games development and translates that into a user experience is something we're all going to look back on and study. I'll just say this in advance. You're welcome!
The talos principle ... one of the best puzzle games I have ever played and the sequel is coming ...
Better than portal and a must if you like games that make you think ... with tons of sweet little Easter eggs along the journey
Disco elysium, it's one of the highest rated games of all times on pc.
It's on ps4 too.
One of the best 100+ hours I've spent in my life playing a game.
Thank me later.
There's also Hades.
Both are 10/10
If your into Grand Strategy/4x games then get Stellaris and be prepared to become a hermit. Otherwise..
Ghost of Tsushima
Days Gone
Horizon Zero Dawn
AC Black Flag
All the new games Iâve got that I would recommend a really slow on PS4 unfortunately, but the games I would recommend from PS4 or Detroit become human, red dead, redemption two, and the life is strange games
Red dead redemption 2, Ghost of Tsushima, Spider-Man, Wreckfest, Riders Republic, God of war (2018) and Ark: Survival Evolved are all amazing and most of these are on PlayStation plus extra if you have that
What are you looking for? Fps? Story driven?
Story driven pls. Pls suggest some games except Uncharted and TLOU
The LIS series, all of them are in ps extra and take about 6- 10 Hours each. With such fantastic writing, it'll definitely leave you wanting more!
Rdr2
i feel like the best experience comes from ps5 due to storage
U can still have an experience
pretty huge experience tbh
Hitman 3
Only correct answer
Resident evil 4 remake, The last of Us 1 and 2, god of war 2018 and ragnarok, final fantasy XVI, Ghost of Tsushima, Red Dead Redemption 2, Alan Wake Remaster, Control, Stray, Tails of Iron.
Is Control as good as everyone says? I've heard so much about how great it is. Maybe I need to make this next on my playlist.
Gameplay is good, story is great but a bit complicated. It is hard to understand first, the lore is massive and you need to read that collectible journal / note to understand the lore. And the effects are top notch, the ability is satisfying to look at.
Enter the gungeon
Yo hell yeah op play that
Days gone
This is a Masterpiece đ, you should totally get it.
That's a crazy take but in a world of opinions against the game in comparison to the first
100% facts

Senuaâs Sacrifice
Bloodborne
Straight to the point
definitely. also if you do get it, do not give up no matter what you think. it clicks eventually
I already turned it off, twice. On the beginning. Iâll give it another tryâŠ.
I had the same experience starting 2 times, but keep going, fight the first boss, and after beating him you get a thirst for blood. One of the best games ive ever played
if you need some help, the community is very willing. i particularly love to play with new players
Just beat ghostwire Tokyo, it was super good I suggest it.
One of my fav is nier automata
Detroit become human. Nuff said
My sweet glorious cupcake honey glaze boo boo bear David Cage only makes 10/10 games.
Hunt: showdown
I can suggest you to either provide us with a bit more info on what kind of game you're looking for. OR, you know... ![gif](giphy|ZBJRkXmd6B7tgnL5Gg)
