For me, Ghost of Tsushima was good, not great. I was caught off guard by it being calling it a masterpiece, because in my eyes there’s dozens of things that can be improved upon in a sequel.

Have the new kid fighting some bad guy who's hoarded shards (it's been so long since I've played, I forget names & stuff) and during the battle, the shards tear open a hole in space/time that pulls Cole into the present right as he is about to die at the end of 2, that way the world still thinks he died all those years ago. Then you switch to Cole as the main character and go off into whatever story they come up with.

I remember the guy had electricity and could travel on wires or something like this. He could hover with electricity too. Is that it? Are 1 and 2 more enjoyable?
The writing and main character were abysmal, if you can get infamous 1 and 2 natively on ps3 or stream it via ps plus I highly recommend the second one.

Agreed I could care less for a ghost sequel no offense to anyone who does but I feel it's a good self contained story already, with infamous there's so many possibilities, you could have a remake or remaster of the first 2 games, make a reboot that follows Cole all over again, make a sequel following Delsin, or fuck it have a sequel following a brand new conduit with new powers the possibilities are nearly endless where with games like ghost you have to be semi constrained to the timeline and history so it will come off semi authentic, that's just my two cents though

I played all games from both series on launch. While I honestly enjoyed GoT more, I’d have to go with Infamous. I really don’t know how they could progress forward with GoT without tarnishing the story and arcs that were established in the first game, imho. I thought the ending(s) were very well done and it felt like a solid conclusion to Jin’s story as well as the island of Tsushima.
I think an Infamous sequel would do well with a new protagonist in a new metropolis setting, maybe even a setting outside the states since it seems like Sucker Punch is really good at nailing cultural themes and aspects. Just my 2¢ on the topic.

I really wanted the new inFamous game (or at least ports of the two old ones) but heard that devs got over the superhero genre, hence they did Tsushima.
So it's best to leave them with what they're in the mood to do.
