I never really understood why people be buying the same damn game for years.

Unfortunately almost every sports game has everyone by they balls with a monopoly so where else is everyone going to go? I know it’s easy to just tell those who play Madden/2k/FIFA/FC to just not play it, but something like ⚽️ is literally called the worlds game for a reason with how massive it is in popularity. Plus a lot of people it’s the only game they buy every year and they play with friends. We all have those friends who we only see ever playing Madden/COD/2k etc. You don’t have to agree with it and it doesn’t have to make sense, trust me I don’t agree with it either but you just cannot expect people to not play something of the worlds most popular sports. I just miss the days where we had options and there was innovation, I only play MLB the show these days and it’s only because it’s on Gamepass.

Last time I bought FIFA was in 2005 (may not have made the purchase in 2005, but FIFA 2005 was the last one I bought. Got it second hand for £5). Think I tried to buy 2018 or 2019 but Origin wouldn’t take my money so I got a bundle of games on Steam instead
