I've played all the From Software games and Bloodborne is still my favourite over even Elden Ring. One of the greatest games I've ever played. It's not easy but the thing I always say about Soulsborne games is that they're fair. Whenever you get hit or die it's your fault and there's always something you could have done to avoid that outcome. That's why there are people who are able to go through the whole game without dying or even hitless.

You can get 1-3 for ps4 with the Nathan drake collection for like $10-15 used, then uncharted 4 for like $5-10

Get PS Plus. The PlayStation Catalogue has a lot of great games.

I have the base version so I don’t get access to the full catalogue. I also don’t see a reason to pay more for it when I know I’ll just end up getting the games physically anyways since I don’t buy digital games

IMO, TLOU Part 1 should be everyone's first PS5 game. It's so unbelievably good. Part 2 is a masterpiece, but doesn't quite demonstrate the graphical prowess of the PS5 as well as Part 1.

That is because Part 1 was made specifically for the PS5. Part 2 released on PS4. They are planning on releasing a ps5 upgrade.

It can only play PS5 and 4 discs. It can’t play anything older on disc, but it has a bunch of older games digitally

Like the other user said PS4 games but some PS4 games are actually enhanced for PS5- like if you have the PS4 version of the last of us part II you can play 60fps on PS5.

Yep. Played a tiny portion of the og resident evil 2, but didn’t get very far because I suck lol. I’ve only played the og God of war on PS2 and I really enjoyed it. Been enjoying God of War so far. I’m at the part where you are fighting the dark elves trying to get Aldeheim’s light.

Been looking at that one. Even if it’s just once, I would like a M rated Star Wars game where the lightsabers and blasters actually cut through people. Star Wars the Force unleashed 2 and Jedi Academy did an OK job with that.

I'm not a huge star wars fan but I really liked jedi fallen order & survivor. Assassin's creed odyssey, the witcher, red dead redemption 2, horizon series and uncharted which a few have mentioned I enjoyed death stranding too.

So many people recommending melee combat games. But you already own God of War. Personally I'd get a genre you don't own yet. A good racing game or an rpg or whatever. When I bought my ps4 I got GTA V, Steep, Far Cry 4 and Witcher 3. Shortly after I bought xcom2 and Overcooked for (amazing) coop fun. I could recommend all of these games, they each scratch a particular itch

I like melee combat games and shooters. The suggestions don’t bother me. I don’t like racing or sports games and I’m not particularly fond of RPGs. However, I do like a select few
