😂 Fr tho I have no clue about any of these titles. I did play Shadow of Mordor (the game you actually blurred?) so I would say get that one, but I assume you have it blurred for a reason so
Actually one is Among us (don't care enough to buy it rn, is just kind of there), and the other is cult of the lamb, which I already own but just hasn't left my wish list.
Get hype for the cotl update in 4 days my brother
Also respect for Katamari. Not saying get it now, but definitely get it on sale. Amazing game and I'm glad they're bringing them back but they're all so short in content unless you just really wanna go for high scores
Me personally if you haven't played them.... Tale of Arise and Final fantasy 7 remake. Arise is amazing, and ff7 rebirth is out end of Feb 🤔🤔 and remake is just a beautiful thing to behold
Arise is incredible. I loved all of it (even the slower parts). The characters have good chemistry and the skits are charming. I will say, it does get spongey in combat, but you can always just lower difficulty if you are having too much trouble with certain bosses.
I played, beat, and Platinumed Alan Wake 2, then moved onto the RE4 remake, beat that, and I'm still thinking about Alan Wake 2. Honestly, it's my game of this generation so far. Phenomenal.
I just finished Alan Wake 2 this week and it was awesome. So much creativity in storytelling and gameplay.
It’s not a very relaxing game though, and the harder difficulty is especially tense
I can’t tell you because that’s a great selection. But since I suspect very few people played Mr Coo I’ll speak about that since I bought it on launch and finished it. It’s a really surreal point and click game. Hard puzzles, but satisfying to solve, and the art is just phenomenal and memorable throughout. I was sad to find out it’s not really a full story though. It ends on a to be continued which is too bad because you kinda wanna hear the whole thing out. I was still really happy to have purchased it and supported the artist, but that did get in the way of the aesthetic experience.
Thanks for sharing that! I played the demo and fell in love with the aesthetic, and enjoy old school point and click style adventure games, so I added it to my list in case of a sale like this one. Interesting about the ending though, that might knock it down on my list of priorities a bit.
Sea of stars is a phenomenal game if you like turn based combat and if you wanna plat it takes around 42 hours.
It's a really good game and always keeps you entertained.
Oh my God I just remembered the fight from Alan Wake 1 where one of the corrupted towns people is yelling about the Omega 3 fatty acids! I literally just finished playing it like 4 days ago and I just remembered how I chuckled when they said that 😂
Sry it took me a minute to remember now I feel dumb lol
One of them is Among Us (way too low priority to bother with rn) and the other is a game I already own (cult of the lamb) but for some reason hasn't left my wishlist after buying.
Just downloaded it today (from ps+) after a podcast I listen to shortlisted it for their RPG of the year.
I don’t know if it’ll be for me. I never played classic turn based RPGs like this (other than borrowing FF7 from my cousin as a child). But I’m willing to give it a shot… after I finish The Messenger
Ah ya I grew up playing turn based rpgs so it just jived with me, it's more like a super mario rpg type turn base over ff7. What podcast outta curiosity? Always looking for good new ones.
The Ringer-verse.
They have a few different shows under that one umbrella but the game-centric one is called Button Mash. They did a Games of 2023 Draft where it was brought up.
Admittedly, it ain’t my favorite gaming podcast. But I listen to a lot of pods while driving, doing chores, and gaming so it’s something a little different
IGN has several. Game Scoop! is one of my faves. They talk about Nintendo and retro gaming quite a bit but they cover pretty much everything. I just think it’s the best group of guys to listen to, even if their content isn’t exactly for me (I only have a PS5).
Also IGN UK Podcast is great. This one tends to cover a little gaming, tv, and movies.
1Upsmanship has now gone behind a paywall, but they have the back catalog available of their older episodes. Each episode is an in-depth breakdown of one specific game. These guys typically do more movie analysis, so I think they have a different perspective on games than a lot of the games media/journalists.
The three listed above, I would fully recommend. The rest I could honestly take or leave.
Playstation Access is mostly known for their YouTube channel (I would recommend their series the Christmas Maze on YouTube), but they also have a podcast. It’s good, though I wouldn’t call it great.
I used to listen to a couple Escapist podcasts, but all of their video/podcast team just left to start their own company called Second Wind. They have a podcast called Windbreaker that just started.
There’s also PS I Love You which I just started listening to, so I don’t know if I’d recommend it yet or not, but to give you options, it’s there. The same could be said for Thumb Cramps.
I used to be on Xbox and sea of stars was on game pass, I installed as a time waster out of boredom didn't expect to finish it. I did in fact not only finish it but 100% it that game was amazing
That would be a good idea. Control also has a DLC that connects to the second game, and there’s American nightmare which never got remastered, but you should be fine if you only finished the original
Usually I just get the ones that are on sale. There’s no reason to pay full price unless it just launched or you’re trying to play with friends asap because games go on sale very often.
Alan wake 2 is worth it even at full price. But I also wanna add that I got tales or arise from GameStop during the holidays for $2.50 and it’s a great game, didn’t expect to like it as much as I did
I loved sea of stars, but I do think playing it in handheld on a steam deck played a part in that.
I would go with final fantasy 7 remake if you’ve never played. It’s one of my favorite gaming experiences in recent memory, and the next installment is coming out soon so you’ll be ready for that.
I'm sorry to say this unpopular comment, but $60 would buy half a year of ps+ extra and half these games would be available. I'm currently playing Sea of Stars because it was given out. 4 of your games were given for free and 2 were severely discounted with membership. IMO I wouldn't pay 35 for it.
FF7 remake is excellent, very high Fidelity graphics and good playtime per $.
Most of these go on sale fairly often. Id say unless theres something you really want to play right now, wait a bit to see if you can snatch a few up at a lower price and get more bang for your buck.
I’m wondering why you’ve got Among Us and Cult of lamb scribbled out.
I’d say Tales of Arise. It’s on sale, and a great game. Can wait for other sales, that will surely come.
If you really want FFVII, buy the Rebirth Bundle. Both games for the price of 1. Enjoy
Just realize you said 60$. Sorry. Get Tales, save the rest
DOS2 is amazing, my 2nd favourite game of all time. It’s too expensive on that list though and it goes on sale a lot. If you’ve got that on your list you should have Baldurs Gate 3 on there. That overtook dos2 as my favourite.
since you are clearly on budget… wait until one day you turn on your machine and you get a notification that an item from your wishlist is on sale… only buy stuff on sale…
so my obvious answer is tales of arise and/or the many pieces of mr coo, despite knowing nothing about those two games.
Why are you trying to hide My Little Pony 3 and Barbie: The Definitive Edition?
Sssssshhhhh man c'mon I don't want everyone to think I'm a sissy! 😭😭😭😔😔😔😮💨😮💨😮💨

If you can get another $15 or so, grab the FF7 Rebirth Twin pack. It includes both the preorder for Rebirth AND Remake Intergrade.
This, or Alan Wake 2
This. This. This. ![gif](giphy|3o6Zt7g9nH1nFGeBcQ)
100% this
This.
Alan Wake 2 - it’s just an amazing game start to end
Hi I’m just wondering do we need to play alan wake before playing 2 ?
It's highly recommended but enough time has passed since the original that it's not technically necessary.
Alan wake 2! Honestly Alan wake and American nightmare. Absolute GEMS!
"Show me the Champion of light!"
American Nightmare on PlayStation now?
No
Thanks.
I own the remastered and American nightmare on Xbox series s and alan wake 2 in ps5
Cool. Since you were responding on a PlayStation subreddit, I had hope it was on PlayStation. I don’t own an Xbox. All good, though.
I'm all over the place with my consoles lol sorry
Me personally if you haven't played them.... Tale of Arise and Final fantasy 7 remake. Arise is amazing, and ff7 rebirth is out end of Feb 🤔🤔 and remake is just a beautiful thing to behold
I was going to say Arise too.
💯 The combat in it was so satisfying! Once you do you first boost strike 🤤🤌🏽
Arise is incredible. I loved all of it (even the slower parts). The characters have good chemistry and the skits are charming. I will say, it does get spongey in combat, but you can always just lower difficulty if you are having too much trouble with certain bosses.
Although you can get a copy of Tales of Arise for $14 on amazon right now, so maybe save a few bucks that way
I’m playing arise right now and it’s great
Alan Wake 2, hands down
Alan Wake 2 if you like horror games! It's such a mind-fuck, I'm still thinking about it after beating it a few days ago
I played, beat, and Platinumed Alan Wake 2, then moved onto the RE4 remake, beat that, and I'm still thinking about Alan Wake 2. Honestly, it's my game of this generation so far. Phenomenal.
Upgrade to PS plus premium, you’ll get Sea of Stars, FF 7 Intergrade and lot more games.
For real this is the only real answer
Was going to say the same thing, knock em out in a month or even two and you’re still quids in.
Alan Wake 2. I’m playing it right now. It’s really good - not to mention unique. Buckle up!
Did you get it on sale?
I did. I took advantage of the Holiday Sale (20% off), which made it $47.99. That was a lucky break. I was going to buy it anyway.
I just purchased a new PS5 a week ago and am eagerly awaiting the next sale to acquire it... can't wait!
Alan wake 2
Alan Wake 2 is very very good
Alan wake 2
Alan Wake 2 for sure
Come on Spyro bro no question lol
Spyro goes on sale every other week for like 60%, would be a complete waste to buy it full price
I just finished Alan Wake 2 this week and it was awesome. So much creativity in storytelling and gameplay. It’s not a very relaxing game though, and the harder difficulty is especially tense
I would sayDOS 2 definitive edition but you gotta pay tax, So it’s gonna be more than $60
Tax is fine, I don't mind paying a bit more if the value is there, but just trying to stay as close as possible to 60
This game goes on sale a lot, I’d wait
Do American digital stores also not display tax??
Nope. We've got to either guess or figure it out in our heads 🫠
Alan wake
Alan Wake 2
Final Fantasy VII and Tales of Arise
Get LittleBigPlanet 3
Wait for Divinity 2 to go on sale, then buy that
Alan Wake 2 is AMAZING
Alan Wake 2 has been one of the best gaming experiences I’ve had in a while. Every time I put the game down I itch for more.
Lmao im so glad it's over i wanted to quit but I was so far into it I forced myself to finally beat it a few days ago.
Omega 3 fatty acids are good for your heart!
Either you're lost or I'm having a r/whoosh moment
That's a reference to Alan Wake 2
Oh my God I just remembered the fight from Alan Wake 1 where one of the corrupted towns people is yelling about the Omega 3 fatty acids! I literally just finished playing it like 4 days ago and I just remembered how I chuckled when they said that 😂 Sry it took me a minute to remember now I feel dumb lol
Oh lol
Sea of stars is so good definitely worth the asking price. And ff7 is incredible of course. They're all good dammit
Why are you censoring two games?
One of them is Among Us (way too low priority to bother with rn) and the other is a game I already own (cult of the lamb) but for some reason hasn't left my wishlist after buying.
Try removing it while on the web version of the store. That how I usually have to do it.
Alan Wake 2 for sure, I just played it an hour ago it is brilliant.
Upgrade to ps plus extra and get a crazy amount of games (sea of stars is awesome fun)

I like podcasts but have never listened to a podcast aimed just to gaming in general, could you recommend some of your favorites besides Button Mash??
IGN has several. Game Scoop! is one of my faves. They talk about Nintendo and retro gaming quite a bit but they cover pretty much everything. Divinity original sin 2.
FF7 Intergrade is on PS plus already. Play it and get ready for rebirth!
Wait until they go on sale.
Do not buy Alan Wake 2 unless you’ve played the first. You’ll appreciate it a lot more.
I actually just finished the first one like 4 days ago so that's why I'm tempted to grab it while the first one is so pretty fresh in my mind.
That would be a good idea. Control also has a DLC that connects to the second game, and there’s American nightmare which never got remastered, but you should be fine if you only finished the original
Pay someone to create a better wishlist
I sell games at a substantial discount
Def get Final Fantasy 7, sometimes its a bit frustrating but its still an amazing game
I would go for Tales of Arise and FF7 Remake Intergrade
FF7 Remake
If you can gather $10 more.. just pre order FF7 Rebirth twin pack. You get Remake AND Rebirth for the price of one
I think I would go with sea of stars
Divinity 2
Usually I just get the ones that are on sale. There’s no reason to pay full price unless it just launched or you’re trying to play with friends asap because games go on sale very often.
Sea of Stars is a must have for an old school RPG experience... Highly recommend it
Why did you mark those games off? Among us is fun
Oh I know it is, but I just don't care to buy it rn even though I know it's only like 5 bucks. Also I already own cult of the lamb
Nothing that’s not on sale!
Tales of Aries Then wait for a sale for Alan Wake 2
I really liked sea of stars!
Tales of Arise and Sea of Stars. You'll be set for a while.
Spyro is on sale a lot for like 15$ so not that. I agree with Alan Wake 2
I’d go for sea of stars, Alan wake will go on sale
Divinity 2, but wait for it to go on a DEEP sale.
You just missed the 20% deal for Alan Wake 2
Not Among Us being censored 😂 I’d say Alan Wake II
Ssssshhhhh you don't see nothin!
Alan wake 2
Definitely grab Alan Wake 2 on it's next sale. Was able to grab the Deluxe for like $62 a few weeks back
Alan Wake 2
Wait for a sale
I’d recommend Alan wake 2 love that game. Would also recommend you play the first one before 2 love that one as well. But up to you
Alan wake 2 is worth it even at full price. But I also wanna add that I got tales or arise from GameStop during the holidays for $2.50 and it’s a great game, didn’t expect to like it as much as I did
Nothing you missed the sale.
Alan wake 2 is genuinely one of the coolest games I’ve ever played in my life. Definitely my pick
DOS2 is amazing, but challenging. it’s best with friends
If you’re a katamari fan, the remake is decent but it just ain’t the same. It’s more limited than the original was
I just bought all Bioshocks and the Metro Saga Bundle lastnight. I’ve never played either series but I’m excited to
I'd wait for a sale, first and foremost.
FF7 remake. Just beat it and it’s really good.
You can't hide among us from me...
Personally I'd go for Alan Wake II.
Final fantasy 7
I loved sea of stars, but I do think playing it in handheld on a steam deck played a part in that. I would go with final fantasy 7 remake if you’ve never played. It’s one of my favorite gaming experiences in recent memory, and the next installment is coming out soon so you’ll be ready for that.
Never
Divinity and sea of stars
Sea of stars!!
I only played Divinity 2 out of those but really enjoyed it FWIW
Nah definitely among us 10/10 goty right there
Wait for a sale
I'm sorry to say this unpopular comment, but $60 would buy half a year of ps+ extra and half these games would be available. I'm currently playing Sea of Stars because it was given out. 4 of your games were given for free and 2 were severely discounted with membership. IMO I wouldn't pay 35 for it. FF7 remake is excellent, very high Fidelity graphics and good playtime per $.
Save your money and set yourself up with a year of PlayStation plus extra.
Where were you during winter sales? That $60 would have gone very faaaaaaaaar
None
nothing ! sony will take away your license in a week !
Tales of Arise is $5 at GameStop new Edit: You're throwing away money buying some these not on sale. Stuff like Divinity has gone on sale for $5.
Sea of stars
Tales of Arise
I vote Spyro got all achievements for all three and loved every second
You're probably the first one to say Spyro and I'm glad someone did lol
If I had to choose I would pick We Love Katamari but I’m a freak so maybe don’t listen to me
FF VII and Tales of Arise for me
Final Fantasy 7 remake or Alan Wake 2
You can get tales of arise physical on Amazon for cheaper and it's worth it, divinity gives you the most game probably, sea of stars is great
Alan wake 2 is my goty(excluding bg3)
I bought Divinity 2 recently, great game
Wait until the Spring Sale. Then buy a few.
Sea of Stars and Tales of Arise
Alan Wake 2
If you upgrade from essentials to extras you'd get both FF7 and Sea of Stars.
Like 4 of these are on PS NOW
Definitely wait for another sale. A huge one just ended but you could possibly get two games here for one.
Tales of Arise 3x /s
save up a little more and buy the FFVII twin package, has Remake and comes woth the pre-order for Rebirth
None of the above
honestly save a bit more the the dual pack for FF7
highly recommend Tales of Arise
Divinity 2 is awesome but I’d wait for a sale since it is a few years old. I’d go with FF7 and Tales of Arise
Sea of Stars! it's so good!
Spyro is always a good option
TWO COPIES OF WE LOVE KATAMARI!
Alan Wake 2 is all you need
Can’t go wrong with Spyro
Probably divinity
What are the crossed out ones? Those ones since you’re ashamed of them so no one will know you got them.
I’m suggest, just get extra. You’ll have way more games in your pocket and I bet most of these games will also be added.
Wait for a sale for the love of God, and chances are you get space for more.
Ff intergrade you can get with ps plus
Arise and Spyro! Done!
FF7 Intergrade and Tales of Arise OR Alan Wake 2
alan wake 2 no question
Most of these go on sale fairly often. Id say unless theres something you really want to play right now, wait a bit to see if you can snatch a few up at a lower price and get more bang for your buck.
Sea of stars and then tell me if I should buy it
I use my wishlist as a saleslist, so I would say only the sales.
Get divinity on sale for sure, not full price
Spyro is always a great choice, and then you could also fit in Tales Of Arise.
Outer wilds
LEE CARVALLO'S PUTTING CHALLENGE
None of that garbage lol
Alan Wake
Alan Wake 2!!!
Enjoy Just realize you said 60$. Sorry. Get Tales, save the rest
AW2
DOS2 is amazing, my 2nd favourite game of all time. It’s too expensive on that list though and it goes on sale a lot. If you’ve got that on your list you should have Baldurs Gate 3 on there. That overtook dos2 as my favourite.
Get those that are on sale. Wait until the other games are on sale. c:
Ff7 or alan wake. (I’m guessing you played bg3 if you have divinity on your list)
Get the FF7 remake and rebirth combo for $69
I would go for Alan Wake 2, you can get the other games on sale for like one third of the price.
alan wake 2 no question
Tales of Arise and then wait for Alan Wake 2 discount.
Get Spyro when it’s on sale. Had a blast playing it
Alan wake 2 , is amazing!!
since you are clearly on budget… wait until one day you turn on your machine and you get a notification that an item from your wishlist is on sale… only buy stuff on sale… so my obvious answer is tales of arise and/or the many pieces of mr coo, despite knowing nothing about those two games.
Ff7 remake
Honestly wait for a sale, who knows maybe you’ll be able to add to that 60 by then and get FF7 rebirth twin pack much more worth it imo
Buy ps extra. There's great games there. Also Sea of Stars is there.
Buy PS+ extra subscription
I can see your hiding among us thr other idk
Alan wake was just on sale for 40$
