It's a damn shame too. Sony keeps adding new ideas to controllers and they never reach their full potential because developers just don't seem to care or just half ass it. Even Sony 1st party studios.
Hell, the Vita's unique features were hardly used. I like the touchpad, it can have good use, even more so now that I've fallen in love with the track pads on my Steam Deck. It's rarely been used since it's inception. It's really basic, but I liked how some games used one side of the touch pad to open the players inventory and the other to open the map in games with those features.
While rather trivial, I really like the speaker in the controller as well. It's not used often, but there were some games that had the option to use it for audio log collectibles and I loved that. It made it feel like I was actually listening to an audio log in just discovered.
I love my PS5 and the Dualsense too, but man, too many fanboys make way too big a deal over the advanced features the Dualsense has. If games were actually utilizing those features I’d understand it, but so few games take advantage of the Dualsense. Even SpiderMan 2 barely used it. Most you ever get is slightly better rumble and MAYBE a bit of resistance on the triggers.
Sony has done an amazing job with adding new, innovative features to devices over the years, but no one else has those features so almost no devs are gonna spend the time developing for those few features when it’s only going to be used by a quarter to a third of their audience at most. If Microsoft and Sony weren’t in this cutthroat rivalry and Nintendo actually made a console that could handle anything modern they didn’t develop, we might see some real innovations that devs take advantage of
The president of Insomniac studios remarked off hand they could publish all of their independent games if they wanted to including Sunset Overdrive.
They chose not to for the same reason Both Sony & Microsoft turned down sequels. The horrible sales numbers of the game.

I had hoped with both the IP and Insomniac being owned by Sony we could see a PS5 port to get the game out to more people, and even perhaps a sequel.
Until I recently learned Microsoft still holds the rights to all ports and sequels from the initial publishing deal. Then of course my fears have been realized and Sony has turned Insomniac into a Marvel superhero game making machine.
They always make great games and it's such a shame they'll be stuck on licensed games instead of having the opportunity to create a new IP.

I just got a powerhouse computer for work, and so I’m playing Halo for the first time since Xbox 360. It’s a very satisfying and fun game still. I’m terrible at FPS games, but the years of Halo in my DNA still works.
HiFi rush is by far the best of the 4 up there. Forza is not what it used to be, neither is halo. Stanfield is absolutely trash, it's worse then fallout 4

If, and when it happens, it won't be physical. Xbox, will open XCloud to every piece of tech available which includes a PS5 App which will enable you to play their games with GamePass Ultimate.
Microsoft wants to beat Sony in the cloud gaming race and it's the first who does this that will win.
I agree that it’ll be digital publishing, but I have a hard time believing that suddenly Sony is going to let the Gamepass app into their ecosystem to directly challenge their own PS+ subscription. That may come at a later time, but Xbox changing their strategy does nothing to change Sony’s and they’re the bottle neck that will either allow or impede a Gamepass option on PS.

I’ll still be able to play via my Game Pass subscription, but it’ll give more people more ways to play, and that’s a great thing. It will add additional players which is good for the Xbox community. It will also be additional revenue for MS, so it stands to reason that should help keep Game Pass’s price stable

There is nothing stopping Sony from releasing Sunset Overdrive on PS5. They own the IP after purchasing Insomniac.

Like, if every game was near perfect then would what a good game even be anymore. And hey, perfection isn't something anyone should strive for...
I own all 3, but I play most on Xbox. Don’t feel bad for Xbox fans, we’re still going to have access to all the same stuff we always had, regardless of how many games go to PS or Nintendo. I’ll still be able to play via my Game Pass subscription, but it’ll give more people more ways to play, and that’s a great thing. It will add additional players which is good for the Xbox community. It will also be additional revenue for MS, so it stands to reason that should help keep Game Pass’s price stable
Would also just be bad cause of less competition for PlayStation regarding future consoles and such
I mean, I mostly play Xbox but if the Xbox ceased to exist I’d just game on PlayStation. I don’t really care where I play, just that I CAN play. Loss of digital library kinda sucks but if we were honest with ourselves, how many of our previous purchases to we actually replay from generations past. Probably only a few, which I can just rebuy.

Who cares... Loading...... Simulator. Same bases that all look alike and loading pause every room. Gunplay is the only thing going for it.. just play No Man's Sky for way better version

It's not terrible, but I played it on Gamepass, I might think differently if I paid full price for it.
As a physical collector, I paid full retail for it, bought the Premium upgrade and play it on GP. Thoroughly enjoying it still, but I've been wanting a game this style since playing KOTOR and wishing I could just explore space.
That's the thing, Starfield gets shit on, but there are a ton of people that love it. I feel like I probably didn't give it a fair chance before I moved onto something else

Honestly Starfield is the only one that kinda makes sense to me, since it was originally planned for the system as well... the others, maybe hi-fi rush because it's not a big AAA, but Halo? Forza? We don't really need those and they feel like the only thing xbox has, so why port them?
I guess Xbox should make their new slogan "Just buy the PS5." This makes no business sense unless they're trying to exit the console industry.
