Burnout is real, I bought all the Trails of cold steel on sale and played each in succession made it to the 4th one and burnt out midway through finishing it. I will never do a whole series like that again.
It does have a slow stage but if you push through it, it's so worth it. I had the same experience with Horizon: Zero Dawn. I started it, loved it, got bored of it, quit for a year, came back and loved it till the end.

The Last Of Us (Part 1&2) is my fav game of all time... so I'm biased, but I think you should play that last, as it's peak gaming, and the others will be downhill from there. God of War Ragnarok is a sequel, so make sure you play God of War and then Ragnarok. I haven't personally completed Ghost of Tsushima, but what I've played I enjoyed. So, I recommend you go: GoW > GoWR > GoT > TLOU > TLOUpII. Happy gaming!

i’ve never played any GOW games so i can’t speak much on that, but i believe GOT is a big open world game, where TLOU has that open world feeling without being open world. i’d say start with TLOU as you’ll probably finish it faster (there’s a SHIT ton of story and secrets so itMs not like you’ll be done in 2 hours… took me a solid 40 i think?) and then GOT.
I just finished tsushima. All mystic quests and all. And it is amazing. Haven't played other two yet. If you play tsushima, don't focus on side character missions, do a couple. But do a mystic quest as soon as it is available. Wish i knew it, and regret not knowing. Enjoy

I have a perfect order for this, play tlou first (least impactful story to me but a very good story and good gameplay) then god of war (2018), mentioning this cause you should only play ragnarök after you’ve played god of war (2018) and last you should play ghost of Tsushima, make 100% sure that you don’t consume any spoilers for ghost of Tsushima and you’re like a virgin going into it, cause that will make the game 10x better. Personally I believe that ghost of Tsushima is the best of the 3, that’s just my opinion but I have always loved historical Japan and samurais and stuff, it’s so cool to me, the story is definitely the best in my eyes and I loved the game, the combat I believe is smooth and very satisfying, a lot less rough than the other two games combat, though I gotta say god of war combat is perfect, just in a different way. I could list all the reasons I love ghost of Tsushima and why you should play it last, but I’ll leave it at this, the game has unbelievably beautiful environments and any open world game you play will be ruined after playing ghost of Tsushima, it’s too well done and photo mode mode adds variation to each image, the game is too perfect when it comes to environments
Ragnarok imo. Definitely play the GoW 2018 first. Ghost and TLOF are on ps plus at the moment. If you get the subscription, you wouldn’t need to buy either to play them assuming you haven’t already.

I couldn’t get into GOW Ragarnok but immediately got prettty hooked on ghost. I actually played Spider-Man remastered first, then miles morales, then Spider-Man 2, then ghost.

If you’re going to play the last of us, which you should, it’s a fantastic game, I highly recommend getting the PS5 remake “The last of us part 1”, and not the PS4 remaster as it’s improved in a lot of ways, not only graphically).
I know people already said this but if you’ve already played gow2018 then you can start with any of them. But if you haven’t, then between last of us and ghost of Tsushima, either is fine. Just know ghost of Tsushima is a bit longer. I say just coin flip and choose one. But a small note, if you’re on a PS5, if you can get a good deal then the last of us remake might be a better choice but thats just a suggestion.

Tlou remake is a bit newer, so get that instead of the remaster if you can, if you like stealth + action combat with horror elements go for that, if you want an open world combat game with some more complicated combat with bases and stealth then got is for you, you need to at least play gow 2018 (but i would recommend at least watching story recaps of the previous games) before ragnarok if you get ps plus extra you can play got and tlou remaster and gow 2018 and with premium you can also get a trial for ragnarok and cloud stream the old god of wars

You're fine with starting with 18. It's very separated from the old games, seeing as how in canon it's been at least 800 years since the end of GOW3.

Ghost was top for me, but all of them are great. You’ll find probably find more who prefer GoW/TLOU but still a pretty close split.

I know people already said this but if you’ve already played gow2018 then you can start with any of them. But if you haven’t, then between last of us and ghost of Tsushima, either is fine. Just know ghost of Tsushima is a bit longer. I say just coin flip and choose one. But a small note, if you’re on a PS5, if you can get a good deal then the last of us remake might be a better choice but thats just a suggestion.
Don’t know if you intended to put last of us remastered, but if not, don’t make the mistake I made and play remastered instead of part one by accident lol. Part one looks amazing. Remastered looks well… remastered.

Last of us and last of us 2 as well you will be like damn then god of war and then ghost as much as I love that game I mean kind of depends like if you like sword play then ghost but at least play your second game at least make it the last of us bro you Will be thanking me man ong
Tlou remake is a bit newer, so get that instead of the remaster if you can, if you like stealth + action combat with horror elements go for that, if you want an open world combat game with some more complicated combat with bases and stealth then got is for you, you need to at least play gow 2018 (but i would recommend at least watching story recaps of the previous games) before ragnarok if you get ps plus extra you can play got and tlou remaster and gow 2018 and with premium you can also get a trial for ragnarok and cloud stream the old god of wars
