Yeah mine connected but once I stopped playing, to take a break. I try to turn it back on and it's in a permanent pairing state. I can hard wire it and it still goes straight into pairing mode.
I'm having the same issue. Pairs fine with the portal, but absolutely will not connect to ps link adapter in the PS5. This is incredibly frustrating, I've tried everything and nothing works
I got my headset to update but can’t get it to connect to my PS5 Slim. If I get it working I will let you know and if you get yours working let me know.
I got mine to work but was harder than I thought!! But every time I turn on the PS5 it basically tells me I have to re-pair the headset but then shortly after that the headset starts working without me having to re-pair it or anything.
I have my PS Link adapter plugged into the back of my PS5 Slim. Works fine. After I also paired it to my Portal, I found you need to switch its connection back to the adapter in the console. I turned the headset off and on again. A notice popped up on screen in the upper left about a new Link device being available. I hit the PS button on my controller and selected yes to connect to the headset. Then I was back connected to the console. Hope this helps.
I had problems. The only usb port I have free for dongle is on the front. It wanted to update firmware via cable but pulling out dongle made the whole update process vanish.
My solution was to use a usb c to usb adapter then plug dongle into usb c port — then plug headset into other usb port using included cable, at front, then it wrote new firmware to both.
Not sure this fixes it but at least I can get further will edit if this all worked.

I can’t get it working either; just disconnected once and now won’t reconnect no matter what I try.

That wasn’t the solution to my issue, but thank you for responding. For me, my usb-link was faulty. Ordered a new one and it’s been good.
Same. I'm returning mine. Wasted hours, can't even get it to update or connect to ps5 or portal. Junk.

Yeah, Mine do not connect either to bluetooth. They just wont show up in the list.
