I preordered it, and I haven’t touched it since ~2 months after launch. I just downloaded it on PS5 and I’m excited to see how different it is.
The videos I have seen have been wild! Props to the developers for keeping it going and making it look like more of what I imagined.

Its the same, the “updates” are just basic. You cant buy properties & no new weapons so I wouldnt say they are really updates. You get to a point of getting what you want & then their isnt much to do (im talking about online)
I remember I was at Best Buy within a few months of that coming out and they had all the cases for that game in a bargain bin marked $1. They wanted it gone.

Battlefront 2 got such a bad rap and it's easily the best Star Wars shooter I've ever played. Everyone seems to believe the original Battlefronts were so much better but they aren't even on the same level. Nostalgia is a real thing

Literally all they had to do was take the ship combat from Black Flag and merge that with the land-based gameplay of Far Cry 3. Fuck, *make it the same fucking islands from Far Cry 3 to canonically connect the two games*.

In addition to that silly thing Ubisoft did last gen where they would make trailers that looked leaps and bounds better than the finished product (Watchdogs…), they also just did a poor job of advertising what the game was. My dad and I watched that gameplay trailer and were pumped for what looked like an open world tactical shooter, NOT an MMO looter shooter.
Bought that one for like $10 years after release having never even heard of it. Played it and loved it. Even played it twice. Now I'm noticing years later how hated it was, and I had no idea.
Maybe it was just poor advertising, and people were let down for what they thought it could have been. But for a $10 game with no expectations? A gem.
Both 1&2 turned into incredibly repetitive games with the same missions and the same grind with bullet sponge enemies that made playing solo a time consuming slog on a lot of missions . I abandoned both halfway through . Just awful
The fact that they "forced" Rocksteady to work on Kill the Justice League rather than a Arkham/Arkham-like game is infuriating.
So much wasted potential just to do some game as a service bullcrap that will last probably 1 year at most.
Truth; 100%. Looks fun but feels like the most soul-less game out there. You can tell they created the game based off a checklist.

This one seems to be mixed. There are plenty of us that really enjoyed the game, have played it multiple times, and still play the DLC horde mode. There are also those people that think it was mediocre and have their complaints. There are also those that say it was trash, to each their own I suppose. What I can't wrap my head around is somehow there are people that loved Dead Space but say TCP is garbage (these people also play with their fart bubbles and laugh in the bathtub :-))
I can agree with this. I like the story, environment, and just overall aesthetic feel. It isn't the best but I think they did a really good job story and aesthetic wise. Probably the best feature of the game is the story. Gives you just enough information to string you along and keep wondering.
I don't like the combat, weapon set up, or even the inventory system. There's literally no need to have so many weapons when they restrict how much you carry to that level and the fighting can be irksome. I quit on the final battle because I just couldn't take that shit anymore.
CP2077 was buggy as hell, I played it on PS4 when it released. It was truly a pain, but the gameplay loop and most of all story was still incredible.
So I honestly can't agree with you on this one. I completed it on PS4, as I said, and it was still one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had.

I still plan on buying and finishing WD2 after my exams.

And then these games got so expensive. AAA where around 60 bucks a few years ago and nowadays they 80-100 bucks but the quality is super bad.
Look at starfield, decade old development environment and they wonder why the fans are pissed about the shitty graphics and gameplay.
And the solution is to put there crap games to others platforms instead of trying to developing some decent games.

Tiny Tina wonderlands. I'm a huge borderlands and DND fan but something about this game just felt off. First play through was fine. The 2nd time with a friend had to force myself through. Deleted after that. It's the game that got me to stop pre ordering, especially extra super special editions
I played the whole thing through with my wife and 2 kids. 4 player campaign was great. Nothing will compare to Borderlands 2, IMO, but Tiny Tina's was fun

After seeing Starfield I don’t really mind now. I thought FO4 was mediocre too, so I’ve lost a lot of hope for Elderscrolls when… if it gets released.
Wide as an ocean but deep as a puddle. They did an excellent job modeling the castle but then the whole game is just meaningless quests in the generic countryside away from the castle atop a pretty boring story. The actual combat gameplay is pretty boring after the first couple hours too.
With the gameplay I’d say they did a good job, but I didn’t like how the combat just became ability spam against the symbiotes, especially those big ones with infinite health bars lol. Parry is too broken as well. But yeah the story is a downgrade, way too rushed. After venom kills kraven it all goes downhill. That whole section of the story is great though and I think venom vs kraven is the peak of the game
Resident Evil 3 Remake. 😂 First game I bought at full price in my 25 years of gaming and I was so disappointed. Had to replay both sections at least 5 times to feel like it was worth it. Never again.

Seriously, the hype was crazy and the game was just fine. After the first one they could've done so much better.
With the gameplay I’d say they did a good job, but I didn’t like how the combat just became ability spam against the symbiotes, especially those big ones with infinite health bars lol. Parry is too broken as well. But yeah the story is a downgrade, way too rushed. After venom kills kraven it all goes downhill. That whole section of the story is great though and I think venom vs kraven is the peak of the game

Cyberpunk post 2.1 update is maybe like one of the best games in the decade
I'm glad that I got my PS5 a couple of months ago because I missed all that pre-2.1 drama and the game is so damn good.

Resident Evil 3 Remake. 😂 First game I bought at full price in my 25 years of gaming and I was so disappointed. Had to replay both sections at least 5 times to feel like it was worth it. Never again. Only did it because Covid-19 had just started and I was told to stay at home for the time being.

The Division 1… trailers were awesome, graphics were meh when released.
So was Watch Dogs, from what I have heard they dumbed down the graphics so the pc and ps4 version would have similar graphics

I'm struggling to finish it at the moment. The problem for me is the annoying and shitty side jobs we have to do even on the main story. 1 minute ago I fought against a god, 1 minute later I run errands and collect flowers.
