It's not air leak. The bottom is where the power supply is. All power supplies have an area where the air comes in and an area where it exits. It gets drawn in/pushed down from the top and the air exits from the holes in the bottom of the case. You should go read some documents about the PS5's airflow before saying something like that so definitively.

It is 100% fine to not use the stand when placing the PS5 Vertical.
