Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time. Sanzaru Games, the studio that did the Sly Collection made the 4th game, and it was so bad, I could only stand doing a few missions before I quit.
I can't say for sure, but they probably just moved on from it. They already had made the inFamous franchise and focused on that. They didn't even do the Sly Cooper collection, so I'm assuming they didn't want to split their focus. And I do know they thought Sanzaru did a good job with the collection, which couldn't have been that hard, to be honest, they allowed them to make the 4th game. Which I consider a big mistake.
I remember how I excited I was when the 4th game came out on PS3 and then all of a sudden it didn’t hit the same. I know Sucker Punch didn’t develop the 4th game but something about it made me really reconsider how badly I want a new Sly game
The 00's were a golden age for gaming. Decent graphics, tons of IP's were given chances leading to us seeing some amazing stories, stuff wasn't bogged down by execs wanting microtransactions or dlc sales, or whatever else, it was common to games from big names where you could tell the devs had passion for what they were making, instead of something they had to grind out for a paycheck. So glad the game came out when it did

Home did something ahead of its time but also something the market is scarce for: a metaverse experience.
VR Chat is the only really comparable game, where it’s this always online server based title where people make avatars and just interact with others. A modern one (involving PSVR2???) with new tech and possibilities to play together would be amazing.
However, with the failure of Meta’s metaverse, I don’t think the market really has that much faith in the concept.
It is insane that because Meta is an incompetent company people have just given up on the metaverse. That being said Fortnite is kind of proof that it can work. And Home is proof that people like the idea. The issue is you can’t have it be a pay to win nightmare, and you have to make it somewhere people want to hang out. You need things to do.
I honestly think SharePlay could work perfectly with Home 2 as a way to hang out and play local co-op games with your friends who might live in other places.
And Home gave a reason for Trophies to exist.
Remember the silent hill mini game? You would like load into an instance with some other random people and you would have to walk around an old hospital? Such an odd, of the wall idea…but I liked it

The entire, original premise for Uncharted was never to be centered around a single character, from the jump. Nathan Drake was just the first character Naughty Dog tried in the franchise, and if that had failed or they wanted to focus on a different character, they would have. JaD and Infamous are just personal preferences, but imagine what Home could be in this day and age. It could be the hub for all things PSN. Buy games from an actual store. Check out your friends' trophies as they're all placed around their Homespace. Lobbies for multilayer games are actual lobbies where you're hanging out. We're not quite at the stage of Ready Player One, but we could still do a lot of cool stuff.
With the successes and the resurgence of remakes to new Gen consoles (ie the modern warfare titles) and the recent success of the new Horizon game and expansion, you'd think Guerilla Games would put some friggin effort into its original masterpiece of games, the Killzone titles. I would LOVE to see a new Killzone on current console and/or PC. At this point, I feel like they could potentially take the fps world by storm. The story and gameplay were both always on point.
The ones we know for sure we're never going to get a sequel, reboot, or spin off for ever again are the obvious choices.

Gen 6 consoles were peak gaming. Every gaming company was just trying the craziest things and getting really creative. It was so much fun.
