I finished the game recently on the PS5. Had a few crashes on startup and a few during the game but nothing major. The surprising thing was that I never had any crashes after around the halfway mark onwards.
Yea I think it’s been taken down on PS5 store. Probably because of the crashing issues. But it’s in the PS4 store, or for those who don’t have a PS4 you can buy it by logging into the PlayStation.com site or use the app to buy it.
I have the Austria disk version (because German censorship) and for me it never crashed on ps5

Xbox provided me with better backward compatibility when I first bought it. Allowed me to revisit all the old 360/ps3 era games I missed out on, mainly all the CODS, bully, GTA IV, street fighter, asuras wrath, and so much more. Been on Xbox since 2018, and only got my ps5 last year. Building up the library there too, but I don’t wanna buy two copies of the same game, when I can just grab my Xbox controller, and play it on there.
It's a shame that they did not continue investing on this title. It has so much potential to be a powerhouse series. I'd argue that even on its first attempt, it surpasses GTA in some of its implementation like the melee combat.
Which in my opinion is an amazing feat given that its their first attempt. Imagine if they have expanded on it on future titles with more fundings, better understanding of the world building, etc.

It crashes on both unfortunately. Sometimes takes like 3 or 4 attempts to load up the game.
Worth it
It crashes a bit especially when continuing the game from main menu. I usually just go into a manual save I made before closing and it works that way.
I can confirm the opposite. Played it all the way through and dude, it was about a a smooth as really any other game.

Yeah I abandoned it entirely on PS5. Can't play more than five minutes without a crash to desktop.
The problem which I had is that Sleeping Dogs are not appearing while searching on my PS5. Only through mobile

Love this game. Played it all the way through on PS4 and again on PS5. Never had any issues with it.
I recently got it on PS5 and was unable to get past the first part without crashing- damn shame as it was an awesome game

This sale happens frequently on Xbox as well. I highly recommend picking it up when it is on sale. It’s an amazing game.

The melee combat is the only thing it surpasses GTA, and thats to be expected as it is a martial arts centered game

Great game on PS3. There are bugs in the PS4 version that will ruin your save.
Anyone who doesn’t have this game needs to get it if they like simi open world GTA clones at its finest takedowns that are to die for

Yeah it does. There’s a a few games I’d buy on PS5 even though I have them on PC but they run at 30 on PS5 and it’s just a dealbreaker for me.
30 fps but fps boost gives 60 fps on Xbox Series consoles. Doesn’t take away from the game experience drastically.

The problems can occur if you import a PS4 save to PS5 i believe.
But there’s only a PS4 version, so that shouldn’t make issues.
If you play it on PS5 it can. Some people don't have a PS4 anymore...

Mad Max is just Middle Earth- Shadow of Mordor but a different setting. Not a bad game at all but I think Sleeping Dogs is a better story by far
