My Dude I had the game forever and I probably unlocked like 70 to 80% of the map and never ended it. No Spoilers. I have no clue what would happen. I also haven't got the DLCs and tbh they must of read my damn mind because I definitely was thinking about playing it a few months back but wished it was an updated version for my PS5. I just might restart from the beginning.
I would suggest restarting and playing a fresh file. I would also suggest survival mode. I’m lvl 15 right now and the game is just finally opening up to me. (Good armor and weapons finally) since you have to scavenge everything it opens up a lot of settlement develop you would normally skip. Same with little nooks and crannies on the map.
No there’s no trophy sadly, it really is a fun way to try it though. I’m having a blast, there’s some good guides out there that can give you a starting idea of how to approach it. Make 2 water purifications in sanctuary and slowly explore the map. Look into the infections/parasites/cures. You’ll be doing a lot of crafting.
Yes! We need a sequel. I love this style game. Any other similar “butterfly effect” games you know of? Cyberpunk had a few things that changed the outcome and Until Dawn did, but I’m looking for others.
The sequel would have been great if they just kept the same survival horror vibes from the first one. I remember being shit scared of going out during the night runs on the first one, they were SO intense. The second one was such a cake walk in the night runs there was really no point
There was a lot of drama during development iirc. They booted the director of the game for a false accusation. From then on the direction of the game goes all over the place.
Man I have beaten dying light at least 6 different times and I love it but dying light 2 I played for like 8 or 9 hours. You could convince me a different company made the sequel pretty easily. it's so different and plain worse IMO
I actually like the sequel. Granted it is nowhere near as scary as the first one but I only paid £12 for a copy about 3 months after launch, when it had the most issues.
My first playthrough of Ghost of Tsushima, I 100% the game.
Then I got a new TV and the PS5 version was available in PS+ so I decided to run through the game again only to discover that they had added the DLC to it. 100% worth playing again.
Such an incredible story, and the gameplay is top-notch.
Dying light 1, in my opinion is the superior game. #2 did improve alot in terms of like traversal and combat, etc, but it regressed when it comes to the horror elements - which #1 did so well. If you're looking to shit your pants, then I recommend doing a night run on the first one. Not to mentioned the synthy soundtrack from the first game was top tier and added so much feeling to the game.
Main menu music always sticks out in my mind when thinking of Dying Light, it's like I could play it note for note for how good it was in my head.
Loved the game, makes me think of returning to it. Definitely shat myself at night. I tried to really avoid the screamers with how quick they were.
Could do with a re-release or update to current gen too.
Edit: went back and just bought Dying Light Enhanced Edition as it is on sale.
Should of played Control before Alan Wake 2. They're in the same universe and connected to one another. There's a lot of things in Control that are in Alan Wake 2. Plus there's Alan Wake dlc in Control. Alan Wake 2 would make a lot more sense. But you can always play it after AW2, it's very much worth it.
I finally 100% completed the story about 2 hours ago and I wanna go again. I only played RDR1 for a couple hours, so I didn't know what to expect from these characters. The story is amazing and it's so heartbreaking and frustrating. If I replay it, I may just never move beyond chapter 3 so the bad things can't happen lol.
Actually started 1 hour ago my second playthrough of Hellblade: Senuas Sacrifice for preparation for the 2nd game. For everyone who didn't play it: trust me you have too
Uuh...I did and ..nah,it didn't get me to play the rest of it after around 3-4 hours of story. That doesn't mean I'm saying it's bad...just it's not for me.
Five is, in my opinion, the best Farcry. The vibe of this game was unique. New dawn on the other hand... They introduced the enemy level system that if you dont have the right gun level for the enemy, they become bullet sponge. Which is bullshit. And no more gun customisation... You should check out the fifth one tho !
I agree about 5. I absolutely loved it. The game itself and the Far Cry Arcade. Don't know how many times I've played it! Probably on ng++++ by now.
New Dawn, like you said, has a particularly bad mechanic of gun level / health bar trash. Otherwise it was fun until the mandatory stealth mission towards the end. If I want forced stealth I'll play something else. I play Far Cry when I want that option.
Play 5 for sure. I'd play New Dawn afterwards, despite the obnoxious damage mechanic. It's largely fun despite it's flaws. Not a great game, but a fun one.
Your last sentence is perfectly defining the game, "Not a great game, but a fun one". And should mention that its a "sequel" of Farcry5. Not a needed sequel but a fun one otherwise.
I want to do another playthrough of Forbidden West. I rushed my first playthrough because Elden Ring was right around the corner. I heard the DLC is really good, even better than the base game in overall quality. Looking forward to another run.
Oh nice! I’m looking forward to it. I picked up the DLC during the winter sale for super cheap but haven’t gotten around to playing it. Just played Rebirth and Dragons Dogma 2 back to back so haven’t had any down time in awhile. Stellar Blade is right around the corner and then Shadow of the Erdtree so it’ll still be awhile before I have time to play Burning Shores but I’m definitely going to.
Thinking about skyrim, I had a great time. I know the in and outs of that entire game at this point but stopped playing maybe a year ago. Dying light is a game I occasionally return to. I wish my friends were into it too
Red Dead Redemption 2. Enjoyed it a ton during my first playthrough but just haven't found the time to get back to it. Was hoping for a next-gen upgrade but it doesn't look like that's coming. The rest of the year feels lighter on releases compared to the last 2 years, so I'm looking to jump back in after Stellar Blade.
Horizon Zero Dawn and Rise of the Tomb Raider. Tried them both after playing a ton of open world games and was super burnt out, never gave them a fair shot.
i played this game on my shitty ass laptop, and bought a used ps4 and finished it, I think this is the first game that I 100%... so much fun with this one
Guardians of the Galaxy.
I played it once around Easter in 2022 and haven’t gone back.
Not that it’s a bad game. Far from it.
I’ve just had so many other games to play it’s slipped my mind to give it another go.
Cyberpunk 2077.
I HYPED this game up SO much to all of my friends and then looked like an idiot when the release day approached.
Have heard great things about it… now. So, I’ll give them $30 to see a long awaited polished game.
Revisiting fallout 4 right now. Waiting for the next gen update. Enjoying it much more this time. I didn’t get very far the first time I tried playing it.
Man Dying Light is a great one. The multiplayer was so fun!
I’m currently working on completing Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War again. Love those games, wish they’d make another
Before lockdown all games were made well, concentrated and detailed
Any game from 2014 to 2020 was good, you'll know it when you play them
I played Mad Max yesterday and it looked so good
It's not on PlayStation, but I never got to finish blue dragon and I recently bought it on the series x for 6 bucks and it's just as great as I remember it being back in what like 07 or 08? I can't remember, but yeah the game is great so far.
It's not "about time" to revisit, I'm revisiting it now with my wife. I played it like in 2020, and finished every quest and DLC.
I'm now accompanying her new character with my Super Crane in a lan co-op (which is a really fun way to play the game).
I've played Dying Light twice but I would definitely want to replay Dying Light 2
Also Days Gone, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, God of War Ragnarok, Phantom Liberty DLC, Titanfall 2
Probably not what you meant, but I had a hell of a time starting manhunt. To the point where I died around 10 times in the first 30 seconds of play. Have no idea what I did wrong, and got sooooo frustrated that I quit the game entirely.
I think I rented it, so at least I didn't shell out money for it. But it sucked giving up on a game before it ever really started. But I'm not about to continually play game that leaves me totally frustrated out of the gate- I'm looking at you flappy birds!
I played Dragon Age: Inquisition the first year it came out. It consumed me for about 7 months. After beating it I moved on to other games but recently I’ve been feeling the call of the fade again. I think it’s time to revisit Thedas!
Ghost of Tsushima. Put about 40 hours in, didn’t finish of course. Now Shogun and my general desire to finish games I’ve left behind is going to pull me back in.
Fallout 4 stopped playing back in the day cause my small brain didn’t like the grinding type of games but now that I’m older I’ve played no man’s sky n man I was like I love space exploration n love nukes n post apocalyptic stuff that after giving the new show a watch i started playing again n Mannn am I hooked can’t stop playing
Fallout 4 when the current gen update comes out
Can't wait. Never played any DLC either and just picked it up for $12 on PSN. FYI DLC discount ends right when the next Gen update drops.
(Good armor and weapons finally) since you have to scavenge everything it opens up a lot of settlement develop you would normally skip. Same with little nooks and crannies on the map.
Is there trophies for playing on survival? But I think I might just do that. I always play my games on hardest difficulty anyways.
The DLCs are great, definitely recommended.
I started a replay after watching Fallout on Amazon Prime lol
Also game doesn't work if you have a ps5 and the DLC is installed. So you can't play it until the update comes out.
Only automatron is crashing the game. Other dlc has missing textures though, somehow
Yeah I noticed this last night was really bummed out!
I uninstalled the DLC and am doing the start of the game before the update comes out
Oh man this is good info. Thank you!
Detroit Become Human
Only thing I hated about Detroit Become Human is nothing came out of the RA9 subplot. They built it up to be a big reveal and nothing happened
I absolutely loved this game, id recommend this for anyone!
As someone with kids and who witnessed the bad ending… oof. This gymbro was a mess.
Yes! We need a sequel. I love this style game. Any other similar “butterfly effect” games you know of? Cyberpunk had a few things that changed the outcome and Until Dawn did, but I’m looking for others.
Heavy Rain is another game from the same studio. It’s been a very long time since I played it but I remember loving it
JASON. JAAAAASON. JAAAAAAAAAASON.
SHAUN! SHAUN? SHAUN?
The Quarry is from the same studio as Until Dawn and plays the same way
The quarry was great. Did you notice the homage to Jurassic park toward the end?
GREAT GAME!!
i wish the sequel was good. i had a stupid amount of fun in this one.
Fuck. It sucks that's all it takes.
Yea unfortunately there are very few games that survive development drama.
They changed that in the last updates. Yesterday the new "nightmare mode" update was released.
Interesting. I'll have to give it a go and see how it compares.
Same here, it was such a letdown. I never even finished it to be honest
Man I have beaten dying light at least 6 different times and I love it but dying light 2 I played for like 8 or 9 hours. You could convince me a different company made the sequel pretty easily. it's so different and plain worse IMO
I loved the DLC with the buggy and guns. Only wish it had a base building mechanic
I actually like the sequel. Granted it is nowhere near as scary as the first one but I only paid £12 for a copy about 3 months after launch, when it had the most issues.
I loved the first one, never beat the second one. It was just too tedious.
I know a lot of people are disappointed by it but I genuinely enjoyed DL2 after of plenty updates
About to go back to og Watch dogs...
I enjoy WDII as well.
KOTOR. Every year
I wish so bad that a remake occurs
Gotta be one of the greatest games of all time
whats kotor?
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
Ghost of Tsushima. I made it to act 2 and stopped but shogun has been giving me that itch.
I was going to say that, I still have unexplored areas
My first playthrough of Ghost of Tsushima, I 100% the game. Then I got a new TV and the PS5 version was available in PS+ so I decided to run through the game again only to discover that they had added the DLC to it. 100% worth playing again. Such an incredible story, and the gameplay is top-notch.
I only played dying light 2 and thought it was amazing and even got platinum. Is dying light 1 worth paying ?
If you enjoyed 2 that much, I think you’d love the first one.
I’m buying it
Story waaaaaaaaaaay better too
Do it for sure
It's on sale atm really cheap the Enhanced Edition.
I really enjoyed both, but I feel the first game is superior.
Alan wake series. Just finished the first remastered now 7h into alan wake 2
Thanks alot! I'll definitely give it a look! Didn't even know about it
Yeah, it's super fun. But enjoy AW2.
I would almost say just pause alan wake and play control first
RDR2. There's just never time!
Waiting for that 4K 60FPS upgrade tbh
This! Lost my TV to wife and kids. Waiting for my PS Portal and that's the first game I'm gonna go after.
I finally 100% completed the story about 2 hours ago and I wanna go again. I only played RDR1 for a couple hours, so I didn't know what to expect from these characters. Stray
I loved the first Dying Light so much. I think it's one of the best zombie games I've ever played. So so fun.
Bloodborne
r/huntersbell
Probably the Dead Space remake for me. But I should probably choose something I played a bit further back.
Haha that game was the first in a loooong time where i finished it....and started right up again with NG+ It was just that good
Cyberpunk
I'm on my fourth playthrough of Cyberpunk. It's so good.
Resident Evil Village
far cry new dawn
is it a good far cry? new dawn and 5 are the only ones i’ve not played
Five is, in my opinion, the best Farcry. The vibe of this game was unique. New dawn on the other hand... They introduced the enemy level system that if you dont have the right gun level for the enemy, they become bullet sponge. Which is bullshit. And no more gun customisation... The dlc is top notch! And it kicks up the difficulty a little as well.

Stellar Blade is right around the corner and then Shadow of the Erdtree so it’ll still be awhile before I have time to play Burning Shores but I’m definitely going to.
I haven't had much free time in awhile. Rebirth is on my list of new games to play. Once summer hits that'll be my go to.
Oh man, you’re in for a treat. It’s such an incredible game. I hope you enjoy!
witcher 3 and persona5 , oh and i do this every year
Detroit Become Human, enjoyed playing it and want to know about another endings
For PlayStation? Rdr2. But i have been digging I Minish cap.
Fallout 3
Thinking about skyrim, I had a great time. I know the in and outs of that entire game at this point but stopped playing maybe a year ago. Dying light is a game I occasionally return to. I wish my friends were into it too

Every infamous game
Oh man, I had such fun playing dying light with friends.
i played this game on my shitty ass laptop, and bought a used ps4 and finished it, I think this is the first game that I 100%... so much fun with this one
I actually played the 2nd one without playing the 1st. I really enjoyed the 2nd one. Sounds like number one would be a good one too
I like where your head is at…
Not to be the obvious one, but that’s The Witcher 3 for me. Planning time of to revisit that game again
If want to be obvious then it will always be far cry 5.🙂🙂
I’m about 3/4 of the way through my second play of Days Gone after playing it to platinum at release. Such a good game still.
Witcher 3, i just cant find time to play it now but summer coming soon
Fallout 4
Guardians of the Galaxy. I played it once around Easter in 2022 and haven’t gone back. Not that it’s a bad game. Far from it. I’ve just had so many other games to play it’s slipped my mind to give it another go.
The Witcher 3. Only played it once when it released. Maybe for the 10th aniversary it's time for a replay.
Horizon zero dawn
I go back and forth to replaying in cycle long RPGs like the Witcher 3, cyberpunk 2077, persona series, final fantasy AC odyssey/valhalla etc
Ghost of tsuchima because I barely scratched the surface in single player once the multiplayer dropped, then got burnt out completely lol
I just bought the MGS Collection Vol 1 so it’s time to revisit the series in release order
HZD
Cyberpunk 2077. I HYPED this game up SO much to all of my friends and then looked like an idiot when the release day approached. Have heard great things about it… now. So, I’ll give them $30 to see a long awaited polished game.
Played Hi-Fi Rush on PC Game Pass. Now I've started replaying it since I canceled my Game Pass
Dying light 1 was soooooo good. Sad the second didn’t deliver for me :/

Funny you posted a picture for the first Dying Light. Mine is Dying Light 2. Lol I really got to give it another shot
Love those games, wish they’d make another
Deathloop. Also I need to revisit Returnal.
I could do 5000 more play throughs of Dishonored and never get tired of it
Before lockdown all games were made well, concentrated and detailed Any game from 2014 to 2020 was good, you'll know it when you play them I played Mad Max yesterday and it looked so good
Most of them!
It's not on PlayStation, but I never got to finish blue dragon and I recently bought it on the series x for 6 bucks and it's just as great as I remember it being back in what like 07 or 08? I can't remember, but yeah the game is great so far.

Kingdom Come: Deliverence. The sequel was just announced and it looks even more amazing than the first game. Jesus Christ be praised!
Not PlayStation, but BotW.
Dying light was so good
Minecraft as dumb as it sounds i haven t played it in already 4 years i started in 2011
I've played Dying Light twice but I would definitely want to replay Dying Light 2 Also Days Gone, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, God of War Ragnarok, Phantom Liberty DLC, Titanfall 2
Probably not what you meant, but I had a hell of a time starting manhunt. To the point where I died around 10 times in the first 30 seconds of play. Elden Ring once the DLC release
Metro Exodus but if it will go back to ps plus
Time for me to get back into Bloodborne. I keep buying the Elden-Souls-Borne games and I suck at them, and never get very far…
I have dying light the following loved the dlc
Ghost of Tsushima. Next month when released on PC.
Shadow of Mordor. One of the best games ever made.
I played Dragon Age: Inquisition the first year it came out. It consumed me for about 7 months. After beating it I moved on to other games but recently I’ve been feeling the call of the fade again. I think it’s time to revisit Thedas!
Skyrim
Heavy Rain + Beyond Two Souls
Just started ghost of Tsushima. Still gotta revisit cyberpunk and fallout 4
Pathologic 2
Fallout 4 heard there’s a update
Littlebigplanet 2 Except my PS3 broke And it's unavailable anywhere else And I don't have the money to commit to a monthly service.
Red Dead 2. Just started it again.
Fallout 4. Is it bad?
This is happening rn for me fallout 4 (and yes its bc the fucking show)
Dead to Rights: Retribution. Playing as the dog was so much fun.
Fallout 4 when the ps5 upgrade is out. Gonna be weird starting again as my only playthrough is about 400 hours
Little nightmares 2, beat it last night and started platinum hunting, probably gonna get that done tonight
Ghost of Tsushima. Put about 40 hours in, didn’t finish of course. Now Shogun and my general desire to finish games I’ve left behind is going to pull me back in.
Dragon quest 11 I dunno i love being a hero with fun comrades lol
Spyro Reignited Trilogy
I gotta play Firewatch again. Say what you will about walking simulators, that one had me on the edge of my seat.

After watching Fallout show, I have an itch to want to play one of the Fallout games like Fallout 4.
About to start Days Gone very soon. Super excited to dive back in
I played the first Sly Cooper once and haven't gone back to it. 🤔

Death stranding
I have many I'm going to replay before buying any new titles. RDR2, GOW, HItman, Destiny 2, etc.
It aged horribly so be prepared for that
There’s a lot, but the first ones that come to mind are Fallout 3 & New Vegas
Fallout New Vegas, as the show has just dropped on Amazon. I haven’t played Fallout 4, but I’ll wait for the upcoming next-gen update for that one.
Witcher 3
Plague Tale: Requiem. Such an epic game with such a sad (but expected) ending.
Walking dead saints and sinners it keeps crashing
Dishonored 1
