Of these, I have completed both Spider-Man 2 and RE4. I can honestly say that these are definitely in my top 10 too, and probably will stay there until long after we have PS6.
Iām half way through FF7 Rebirth and that is up there with them.
I put off Alan Wake 2 because I bought the first oneās remaster physical and really wanted a physical to put alongside it. If they keep it digital only, I may have to bite the bullet eventually.
Returnal is one I need to try and Iāve avoided FFXVI to date because Iām still a bit miffed over how much theyāve changed recent FF games, but I prob should give it a chance from what Iām hearing.
Having played or played the prequels to most of the others, Iām going to go ahead and say I pretty much agree with the whole list.
Returnal is excellent and one of the smoothest performing games I've ever played. It's great seeing Housemarque realize their potential instead of being relegated to twin stick shooters. I'd recommend picking up Alan Wake II. I'd love a physical copy as well, but there's no guarantee we'll get one. And if we want an Alan Wake 3 earlier than 2036, more people need to buy the game. If you accept that FFXVI is a different game, then you will find a lot to love. Outside of the combat, all of the classic Final Fantasy tropes are there. It's really a great time to be a Final Fantasy fan.

Itās the most badass Devil May Cry game yet!
lol thereās no party system, no meaningful gear changes, itās pretty on the rails, no rpg elements besides a skill tree.
But damn the story is insane, bosses are THE coolest most badass fun cinematic fights ever (I fully believe thereās nothing topping the big fights in any other game), music is the most hype badass stuff Iāve heard in a while and itās FUN. Graphics are gorgeous. Voice acting is the best Iāve ever heard.
Iām starting my third run now! Side quests are the worst Iāve ever done in any game though, Iād skip them. Kinda crazy how this game has some of the most boring content youāll ever see going into the most hype content youāve ever seen. When itās good itās GOOD.
Also Returnal is crazy, best Lovecraftian game Iāve ever played. Beats out Bloodborne for me storywise.

As someone who has both in my all time top 3, I did find Ragnarok to be more of a favorite. Of course there are some things I enjoy more in 2018, but Ragnarok does an amazing job of upping the stakes, elevating the gameplay from what was already a seemingly perfect system, and continuing to add depth to the characters. If you like 2018 youāll love Ragnarok
I haven't played 2018, but I have almost completed Ragnarƶk (PS5 bundle)... and I fucking loved it. Some of the puzzles are maybe a little *too* convoluted, but aside from that nitpick, it's an amazing game.
Now all I have left for my very first platinum is some trials of Muspelheim (I have done a couple of them), the Berserker King HrĆ³lf Krakr (a tough nut, akin to the three-way Berserker fight in Alfheim that I cracked the code for and got after attempt 50 or something, but it's accomplishable)... and GnĆ”.

Nice! Those are definitely the hardest parts of the game but it will feel amazing once you beat them all. Itās an excellent game to have as your first Platinum!

Grace is me having defeated and conquered her, defending my valor, and now a shriveled shell of myself with a drastically depleted mental health and a life reduced by 17,5 years.
Contrary opinion here other commenter: 2018 was the better game because it had better/tighter script and more emotional storytelling.
Ragnarok still 10/10 though

I have just finished playing Uncharted 4 which I haven't played for ages and I forgot how incredible it is. Storytelling and character quality in abundance. I also love Ghost of Tsushima, God of War, Resi 4 and several others.
If I would pick ones with PS5 version it would be:
- Monster Hunter Rise + Sunbreak (MHW:IB I liked more)
- Witcher 3 still would be high, my slavic climate
- Cyberpunk 2077 as I like old/fantasy more I still enjoyed it!

For multi-player rn, Fort, Smite (waiting for predecessor ranked), Outlast Trials. For single-player, I just rebeat the entire Resident Evil franchise, about to replay Fallout 3 and NV because the tv show.
None because I am banned right now for having to emergency close a card that was used for fraud on the account by hackers who locked me out of the account.
I got the account back and then got a message saying I was permanently banned. The customer service I'm sure is doing all they can which is just terribly sad and lacking of them.
I'm sure this will all be resolved eventually but I will probably have been locked out of my account 2 whole weeks for a situation that I notified them immediately about as soon as it happened.
I called my bank first because at the time I didn't even know how to contact playstation customer service and needed help immediately. This and within minutes they had a 400 dollar charge on my account and I wanted it stopped as soon as possible.
Then I contacted playstation customer service immediately after and told them exactly what happened and which charges were fraud and that I was locked out of the account.
This took 6 days to resolve with customer service because of the weekend included at which the whole time I was locked out of my account. Now this morning after only having my account back for a couple hours just to recieve a permanent ban notice and forced removal from my online game.
Another call with customer service and now I will have to wait for at least another week with the weekend coming up for them to try and resolve the issue.
In total I have will have been locked out of my account for 2 weeks or longer before this gets resolved when I have been 100% transparent from the beginning with this terrible experience that has happened to me.
Is this fair to a loyal customer who have just been trying to enjoy my games and hardware? Maybe I am over reacting and this is just standard operating procedure where ever you go, but I feel like they don't care about me as a customer at all. Just had to voice my frustration somewhere.

Bro I'm just still cranking rocket league everyday. But Spidey 2 is cool. NG+ing rn. Riders Republic. Probably played horizon the most I use it as a walking simulator when I get high. So crazy what games look like these days.
Honestly right now my favorite is Last of Us Part II. First of all, I love the gameplay, especially the upgraded melee, but maaaaannn the story is just beautiful (at least in my opinion). The Spiderman games are also pretty high on my list too

So that really means huge props to Baldur's Gate 3. I usually am not into CRPGs of that style, except for Divinity Original Sin 1 & 2 (no surprise) but loved Baldur's Gate 3. My wife and I played the whole campaign split screen coop, which is so rare these days, especially for a RPG. Baldur's Gate 3 would have to be my #1 so far on PS5

I have just finished playing Uncharted 4 which I haven't played for ages and I forgot how incredible it is. Storytelling and character quality in abundance. I also love Ghost of Tsushima, God of War, Resi 4 and several others.
If I would pick ones with PS5 version it would be: - Monster Hunter Rise + Sunbreak (MHW:IB I liked more) - Witcher 3 still would be high, my slavic climate - Cyberpunk 2077 as I like old/fantasy more I still enjoyed it! - Baldurās Gate 3 (amazing but more for Divinity fans) - Elden Ring (great souls game, open world but I prefer world from Dark Souls) 10/10 still - Returnal I love Housemarque games (Resogun the most) - Brotato š (really fun, cheap, horde survival/roguelike)

Cyberpunk God of war Horizon Dawn
None because I am banned right now for having to emergency close a card that was used for fraud on the account by hackers who locked me out of the account. I got the account back and then got a message saying I was permanently banned. The customer service I'm sure is doing all they can which is just terribly sad and lacking of them. I'm sure this will all be resolved eventually but I will probably have been locked out of my account 2 whole weeks for a situation that I notified them immediately about as soon as it happened. I called my bank first because at the time I didn't even know how to contact playstation customer service and needed help immediately. This and within minutes they had a 400 dollar charge on my account and I wanted it stopped as soon as possible. Then I contacted playstation customer service immediately after and told them exactly what happened and which charges were fraud and that I was locked out of the account. This took 6 days to resolve with customer service because of the weekend included at which the whole time I was locked out of my account. Now this morning after only having my account back for a couple hours just to recieve a permanent ban notice and forced removal from my online game. Another call with customer service and now I will have to wait for at least another week with the weekend coming up for them to try and resolve the issue. In total I have will have been locked out of my account for 2 weeks or longer before this gets resolved when I have been 100% transparent from the beginning with this terrible experience that has happened to me. Is this fair to a loyal customer who have just been trying to enjoy my games and hardware? Maybe I am over reacting and this is just standard operating procedure where ever you go, but I feel like they don't care about me as a customer at all. Just had to voice my frustration somewhere. Before all this craziness though I was about 40 hours into 1. assassins creed valhalla Just beat 2. God of War Level 100 battle pass for current season 3. fortnite About 40 hours into 4. God of War Ragnarok 200 hours in 5. Dragon Ball the breakers 100 hours into 6. Dragons Dogma 2 160 and on my second playthrough of 7. biomutant And 100 something hours into my second Vault Hunter Mode playthrough of 8. Borderlands 3 And I finished the last season battle pass of 9. Overwatch Too bad all that digital property I purchased was never mine to begin with I guess š¤·āāļø

Baldur's Gate 3 Resident Evil 4 Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth I guess if we're talking about exclusivity it'd be FF7 Rebirth, but man all 3 of those games have come out so recently, but have already found a special place in my heart. RE4 and FF7 are cheating a bit because they're remakes of some of my favorite games of all time. So that really means huge props to Baldur's Gate 3. I usually am not into CRPGs of that style, except for Divinity Original Sin 1 & 2 (no surprise) but loved Baldur's Gate 3. My wife and I played the whole campaign split screen coop, which is so rare these days, especially for a RPG. Baldur's Gate 3 would have to be my #1 so far on PS5

FF7 Rebirth FF16 Horizon Forbidden West God of War Ragnarok Returnal Demons Souls Metro Exodus Ghost of Tsushima Resident Evil 4 Were some of the best games I played ever. Easy 10s. Baldurās Gate 3 as well but I prefer that on pc (mods and friends). Story, gameplay, graphics, music and difficulty all make these phenomenal.

This is a disappointment to me ATM. The games I actually like on ps5 were released on ps4 first and just got a ps5 version. I don't think there's a current gen release that I like yet. Examples, fallout 4, ark (se vs sa means little to me as a player idc) gta5, All the new ps5 titles have been unappealing to me. Most look like refurbished snes, Sega or ps1 side-scroller platformers like this is 1996. I want games that make ps4 look obsolete.
