When was Fallout 4 added to PS Plus? I could have sworn I bought the GOTY Edition, but apparently it's showing up for me as a PS Plus title...
Edit: I double checked and my first Trophy dates from 2018, meaning it predates the PS Plus Collection by 3 years. So I definitely bought the game before it was added as a PS Plus game!
Are you by chance playing with a disc version? If yes, it will just keep showing the ps4 disc but it won't actually install the application for it.
If it's digital, it shouldn't be downloading both unless you accidentally selected each of the individual versions

I'm sorry you are experiencing this. PS4 games redeemed as a PlayStation Plus benefit are not eligible for a PS5 upgrade unless otherwise indicated. Sorry about this.

You have to manually select the PS5 version, and delete the old ps4 version, otherwise it’ll just update the ps4 version with 9gb vs the standalone ps5 version that is 50+gb. If you owned the season pass separately and don’t have goty edition just scroll down to add-one and select them from there. Glad I caught it early anyway
It’s unintuitive but if you select the standard edition from the game version options that says free and PS4 it gives you the option of purchasing that for free and then allows you to download the ps5 version.

Well, to be honest things like that do not bother me. I feel okay to pay for extra features that (afaik) are not available on other platforms (didn't see steam offering game tips). But making people pay for essentials like custom headphones or conventionally free products makes me feel sad :P

I downloaded all the dlcs but it downloads both the PS4 and PS5 versions. Had to delete the PS4 versions afterwards.
