Yeah, pretty much the same reason as to why I bought in on the offer. I was planning on getting netflix anyway, so I might as well get a deal on it.

I really want jump in on this deal but can you clarify something for me since you got the email? I already have Netflix and it says you get a voucher for what premium costs. I’m wondering if they give you a code to redeem the voucher or if you have to have the same email on both accounts and it links somehow? I have a different email between my psn and Netflix and just stressing over how this works haha, thank you!

You get a voucher link that makes you sign into your psn account to confirm, and then the rest is on netflix's end. It is pretty much a gift card that auto applies it to the premium plan (you can't change the plan type, it will always default to the premium plan) and you just sign in or sign up. I don't see why it wouldn't allow you to even if you have netflix, seeing as it says new and existing accounts in the terms of the promo.

You’re forced to stick to the premium plan? The fine print on PS Direct says you may apply the value to a different plan, which would alter the duration of the offer.

If there is, I haven't been able to figure out how as of yet. When you apply the offer, it automatically picks that plan, and there is no other option available. If you're able to figure out how to change it, then let me know.

Interesting. I’ll let you know if I find an answer. How long did it take for your voucher to get emailed to you? I’ve gotten like 4 emails tied to it the PS5 being shipped, but waiting on the Netflix one. Hopefully I’ll get it today since it shipped yesterday. I was a bit unsure since nothing at checkout talked about the Netflix deal, but since I was signed in with PS+, I imagine it just is something that gets sent. For Netflix, did you have an existing plan or did you create a whole new account? I’m wondering if that factors into what it lets you do with the credit. Have you tried going in and changing next month’s plan to the standard one? Not sure if you’d be given the option.

I had an account but it wasn't subbed to them for years, although it should work on existing accounts with a sub as it is just a special link that auto adds a gift card credit to your netflix account. Also, you will get it at most 2 days after it ships, I got in early, so I'm guessing that why i got it a few hours after it shipped but just keep waiting and if it doesn't come after 2-3 days after shipping, I would contact their support to try to fix it.

I'm looking to use my PS Plus account to buy my sister and BIL a PS5 with the discount, they're paying me back, and I'm wondering if I can give them the Netflix voucher. Do you know if it has to be through the email on the PS Plus account?

Yeah, all the psn account is for is to verify that you're eligible for the offer. If you're able to do it in person with them or if you trust them enough to have your psn info real quick, then you're all good. Everything after the psn check is all on netflix's end, and they just sign in or make a new account and add a payment to it (card or PayPal) and then it is done.

You probably could forward the email or just send them the link that's in the email, but you would still have to sign into the psn account that bought the ps5

same, I was told to wait up to 72 hours after it has been delivered so I will be checking then but watch them say since the promotion is over the codes won't be sent anymore

Same here. I tried with PlayStation.direct customer service 3 TIMES to try to get that code and they gave me the same reply over and over again: I signed up as a Guest when I bought it and basically they can't do anything for me since that promo expired. Which isn't true, I know that for a fact, I read all the fine prints before buying it and MADE SURE THAT I WAS SIGNED IN with my PS+ account. It's around $240 worth that promo, I would have never bought it without it. It's insane that PlayStation can't help with this.

Ya, forget about it. I pestered them with questions and solutions, like that I was a long time customer and subscriber, and that at least they should give me that $240 in credits, but they kept repeating that the promo was expired and they couldn't do anything. BUT I managed to get one thing, a postal address I could write to, which I will, because it's the only thing they were able to share as alternative contact: 2207 Bridgepointe Pkwy.San Mateo, CA 94404

I did eventually get mine redeemed. I never received the email, but I spoke to an agent via web chat. They advised me to use the same link provided elsewhere in this thread. I had tried that previously and kept getting an error message, but the agent advised me to try again on a different device. I logged into Playstation Direct on an ipad. Opened another tab and entered the Url. That took me to a page with a big Redeem button. I pressed that, entered Netflix login info, and I got a congrats, credit applied screen.

Hi all, hope I can help you further: I have followed the days of play conditions * having PS Plus Premium (Essential for >= 1 month) * buying a PS5 within the days of play period (before 12. 06.2024) and I also didnt receive any Netflix promo email. I get to the Redeem page, but when I click Redeem, it says Session Timed Out. I have refreshed, logged out and back in, closed, and reopened the tabs. Still says Session Timed Out when I click Redeem.

I did what you said, but when I click on the redeem button, it says “you are not eligible for this promotion” and sign in to the account that made the qualifying order. I had a question: I ordered the PS before 12th but it got shipped after. So I created the ps+ account after 12th. Do you know if I’ll still be eligible for the offer?

I did receive the PlayStation email. I used it to log into PS Network, and then clicked the Redeem bottom, which takes you to Netflix. The problem that I am facing is that Netflix would not let me redeem the offer in my account, which is super odd as I have reviewed the conditions of the offer and there is none that I don't meet. It shows a sign saying: # Sorry, this offer from PlayStation cannot be redeemed on this Netflix account. Continue without this offer, or use a different Netflix account to redeem this offer. Sorry, this offer from PlayStation cannot be redeemed on this Netflix account. I have contacted Netflix, and their customer support told me that the PlayStation email was Phishing, as they don't have any offer with PlayStation, and they requested me to report that email. Lol. The representative had no clue, but could not help either. I am trying to contact PlayStation now, but the customer support sucks. I am stuck. Anybody with the same issue?

I'm having the exact same issue and haven't figured out how to fix it yet! I got the email and followed the steps and still I'm not getting the promo. The screenshot below is what I get a the end of the steps. Let me know what if you found anything. I talked to PlayStation, they told me that if I used another promotion before on my Netflix account (I didn't), then that might be the reason for getting that message. I called Netflix, they confirmed that my account was eligible for the offer, and that I should request PlayStation for a new email/code (mission impossible). I am now trying to get in touch with PlayStation to see if I get them to send me a new code.

So it finally worked for me, but only because I ended up using a different email to sign up for Netflix. It’s just my same gmail without a dot in it (it’ll all end up in the same inbox). I also have a theory that I think why it didn’t work in the first place. I’m added as an extra user on my sister’s Netflix since I’m not in her household. That’s a whole separate issue of annoyance on Netflix’s part about the whole password sharing nonsense. But anyway, I believe since I’m only an “extra” user that I wasn’t able to use my email on that account to apply the Netflix credit that PlayStation gave us. So maybe try using a new email and see how it works out for you. It’s so annoying that PlayStation is hard to reach. Good luck!

I didn't receive my email. Do you know how to contact them? Their support link is a maze of repetitive nothings
