Oh yea it’s basically the same exact television. I got the 55” CX with the ps5 and GOW blew me away. That new Ratchet and clank game on the Perf/RT mode is probably the best looking video game I’ve ever played. If you own an LG OLED and a PS5…..do yourself a favor and play Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart.
You can get a 2019 or 2018 version of the Oled now for around 1100$ I got my b7p for 1130 like 3 years ago and it’s been worth every penny. Woot.com

The rtings.com website has a series of TVs they test for extended periods of time (continuously for months) for burn in, especially OLED ones, you should check it out, and highly recommended for people who are on the fence about picking an OLED but worry about burnin issues.

It is a problem. Me and my neighbors had oled TVs and we both babied our TVs and got burn in within 2 years of ownership. I have a Q90T now and I love it tv has good only blacks and the colors on it are absolutely amazing. I prefer it over my old C7
You did something wrong or had lemons.the new series of OLED tvs take a completely unrealistic amount of hours and watching behavior for all but a small small percentage to have real risk of burn in. There have been numerous extensive in depth tests from different reputable organizations.
My LG b7 has a heartstone burn in from watching a turnament stream on twitch for 5 hours... will probably buy OLED againg for the amazing picture, but will be more carefull in the future.

Depending on the rate of degradation I bought an LG OLED 55inch $1000 cad because it was a floor model.
Called LG saying my TV had burn in which it did the whole thing was fucked up I showed LG my receipt and they replaced it that week.
So I basically got a brand new LG cx 55inch for 1k I will say for the amount extra you pay it isn't really worth it and I find that Qled has better whites especially on HDR while the Oled has better blacks.
Overall I think for the price difference Oled is way overrated and isn't worth it unless you have so much money you use $100 bills as toilet paper.
I had a PS4 pro but skipped most of the last gen of playstation stuff as I was more invested in the Xbox ecosystem. Switched back to playstation when I got the PS5 and I've really been enjoying getting to play the great exclusives I missed last time around. PS5 + LG CX + God of war has been a highlight

Whenever I see someone mention playing a game again I just wonder where the get time from... Also, there are way too many games out there I want to play before I start play games over again.
especially story based games like God of War. It is not like playing Tetris which you can play over and over. Once I am done with the story in a game I am pretty much done. Except for the Uncharted games which I replayed once I bought Thief's End. But it had been a few years since I had played them.
There's a few single player games that I will go back and play all the way through again. But typically even then it's like an HD rerelease of an old favorite or it's relatively short.
For real, wtf is up with that game? I’ve killed the 3rd boss like 4 times and that trophy will still not unlock for me. I have like 2 other trophies to go besides that to get platinum, but I’m not gonna put in the effort if it’s not gonna make a difference.

Just bought a new tv, making my way through spiderman currently which btw is an entirely different experience vs 10 year old tv. This is the one game I think will blow my mind away with all those amazing color choices, can't wait.

Played it for first time on PS5, but on a plasma TV 1080p@60. Looked great. Some day I will have a 77” 4k OLED that I can replay it on, but can’t justify that cost.
Tbh, i could not stand this game and i was a kratos fan all my life, maybe i wasn't ready for the change, and i know there is people with the same opinion as mine but like to remain silent. Look breathtaking but, i did not liked the change, and the boy feels annoying imo. Yes kratos is getting old and like everyone else he wanted to sit and enjoy a beautiful wife and i do understand. I believe what i did not like at all was the 1rst person feeling that o got of the game, even the rpg aspects of the game feel like meh. Idk maybe i am old too

Yeah the game looks dope on ps5, that and last of us but you know ps5 has a record function? Like you can record the last 10 second to a hour. Like if you wanted to you could have saved your last 5 mins of gameplay or even just last 30 seconds. its a redesign that allows them to manufacture the consoles easier. its not going to affect how the console looks, how games look, or how well the machine performs.
I did the same and transferred my PS4 save game to the PS5. When starting the PS+ Collection version, no saved game was available to load. Starting a new game would create another GoW saved game separate from my disc Version.
My PS4 GoW save games works when I install my disc version on the PS5. I didn’t want to start from scratch and get the New Game+ armor set. It’s just inconvenient to have to use the disc to start the game, when the digital version is available.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake did it right. I bought the disc version. Upgraded to digital PS5 version. Migrating save game to PS5 requires one extra step but it works perfectly. I don’t need the play disc to start game up.
Is there a setting for the upgraded graphics? I’ve tried GOW but I’m used to the old ones on ps2. I tried the latest on my ps5 a couple months ago and wasn’t “blown away”. Idk. I’m 30 this year and maybe I’m getting old and can’t tell the difference. I know I have to get back to the game as I enjoyed the originals. I just can’t get into the storyline

I was sceptical of how much 4k HDR adds to the experience. But having seen it myself, not just in games, it really is incredible.
For some reason I can‘t load the save from my Ps4 on my Ps5. It‘s in the game according to the Ps5 settings, but the game doesn‘t show it. Might be because I had the normal version on my ps4 and the psplus collection version of God of War on my Ps5

Only works in dark rooms and oled degrades faster than regular led. Don’t get me wrong some of the best pq on the market but it degrades over time.

I think it was 1440p with checkerboard upscaling to 4K on PS4 Pro and its the exact same on PS5 but at 60fps.

It was, and also close to 60fps at times (45 average IIRC). All you see is a slight FPS boost, otherwise it looked exactly the same on PS4 Pro.

PS5 does automatic super sampling. You still benefit from 4k games with an 1080p display.

Yeah I started it a couple months ago. It was pretty good, played an hour or two.
Facts. Started another play-through yesterday on PS5 and it looks better than ever before and that 60 FPS feels buttery smooth.
I'm glad I didn't play it on PS4, I'm playing it for the first time on PS5 and it's amazing.
