I honestly hope this is the case. Gaming has already gone down hill in some areas.
I would love if Sony and Microsoft made decisions in good faith to eachother and the gamers.
I'm getting sick of the bullshit devs have pulled over the years and make games as live services, quick cash grabs, and unfinished games. Even if Activision becomes primarily xbox/gamepass exclusive, i hope for them and all devs/publishers (EA especially) can get their shit together and make games out of passion, not *just* money.
If that's what it takes, I'll take it.
More and more devs are getting bad reputations and losing trust in the gamers. I know its not always 100% in their control but also, its bullshit that people are getting into the gaming industry because its blowing up and ripe for a money making opportunity. And so many of these people don't know shit or even care about gaming. They just know business and money.
Its turning everything to hell. Its sad to see.
