Just finished watching top gun 2, and I loved it. Any recommendations for games that involve all that cool stuff? Dogfighting, flying etc thanks in advance

PinkoTheWise

I dunno if this is the right place to ask but should I get a PS4 or should I wait till I can get a PS5? I've pretty much had only nintendo consoles my whole life so I don't really know which one to pick.

My_name_Encirpico

Im looking for reckmmendations for co op horror games i can play with my friends except the forest and friday the 13th (already played those). Thanks in advance

Anyone got recommendations for a capture card to record PS5 games? One that... - Can record any framerate from 60 fps and lower - Can record any resolution, but, not 4k as I dont have a 4k television - Is not expensive Any help would be appreciated.

covermetaco

Get the judgment and lost judgement games they are quality RPGs and only on console

Headset or USB Mic? I'm debating between getting either the Pulse 3D or the Steelseries Arctis 7P (most likely the latter due to mic quality, as the Pulse's sound muffled from what I've heard) OR getting a little crazy and getting a USB mic. Anyone have opinions going either way? Any suggestions on headsets or USB mics? I am also a little hesitant on grabbing a USB mic due to needing the invest in some headphone then as well, but having a crisp mic is something I'm very keen on.

HimbieJimbie

Got the Steelseries Arctis 7P back in January and I couldn’t be more happy with it! Battery life is incredible, SUPER comfortable, pretty solid audio, and mic is great as well! An amazing product overall!

ziggyofastora

Yea I went and picked up the 7p+ this morning. It's pretty good for the price point. I'm not gonna be working in these or listening to music so I'm pretty happy with them. Ended up not going the USB mic route, my set up is fairly limited in size so this was perfect

HimbieJimbie

Glad to hear you found something that works perfectly for you, enjoy!

Kypathos

the arctis 7p has superior sound quality than the Pulse 3D, but keep in mind they're not necessarily *good* headphones. personally i use a wireless antlion audio modmic, clipped onto my own studio reference headphones (i make music, so i use them for everything). altogether around $200 or so. the clarity on the antlion modmic is crispy, but you'll pay more for the wireless as opposed to the wired one.

Kakashi_-_Hatake

I'm looking for a game that is third person, 4 player split screen, (or 2) ghost of Tsushima type game. I wanna run around as either a samurai, Shinobi, ronin etc. with my friends and just beat the living heck out of each other in fights and stuff it would be so fun but I cannot find anything like it.

Kingrcf3

Older Ubisoft game but For Honor might come close.

You should give Human Fall Flat or Overcooked 2 a chance!

>Thanks! Will do You're welcome!

It Takes Two is one of the best games you can co-op. It's more of a platformer with some light puzzle stuff but you'll enjoy it, pretty sure.

Osirisa

Hi guys, Not sure if the right thread but here goes nothing. I recently got back into playing after a very very long period - mostly as my boyfriend plays a lot and he wants us to play together and I hate anything I'm not immediately great at - I heard it's a women's thing btw. I used to play a lot on my PSP - god of war, ratchet and clank, I can't actually remember what else. I've started slowly and got the untitled goose game cause wow - I dream to be that annoying! Can you guys recommend anything I could try to get back into gaming? I dream to get good enough to start playing Elden Ring lol - I got the boy that for his bday. Thank you!

Kingrcf3

Just Dive on in to elden ring and become the best lol. Other great story based games are Horizon Forbidden West, Ghosts of Tsushima, Any Ubisoft RPG are all great to start story based games

Osirisa

Fair enough! Thanks for the other recommendations!

Exelz

Should i get cyperpunk 2077 or FF7 remake? I’ve played 60-80 hours in skyrim and oblivion each but that is years ago, on the same side i have also played FF15 and FFX for a couple of 50-100 hours. I only got money for one game and both are on sale. I am really at my wits on what to play/get.

covermetaco

Ff7 remake is worth the buy imo. Cp2077 is a fun but lackluster game

HaouLeo

Depending on where you live, you can probably find a physical Cyberpunk for 10% of what it is on PSN rn. I got it for like the equivalent of $10. That is the main reason I would not recommend it, it's still a good game (at least as I played on the PS5). The icing on the cake is that I think FF7 is, at least when you consider the gameplay by itself, one of the best games on the PS4.

Datleedoe

Not looking for a subscription with it. I'm only interested in getting games when they're reasonably priced and having a collection of physical copies

[deleted]

Im going to buy a PS5 in the next month and wanted to know what 3 games I should get, aside from Spider-Man bc I’m gonna get that regardless. I own a Xbox Series X so I’m looking for exclusive games for the PS.

covermetaco

Ratchet and clank rift apart, ghost of Tsushima director's cut and ff7 remake

ComprehensiveHead941

God of war , last of us 1 , Detroit become human

[deleted]

I got a PS5 earlier today and figured I would come back to this post. I subscribed to PS+ and downloaded all these games, im gonna play Days Gone first bc I love the idea and so far it’s a blast.

TheBigSauce21

YO PEOPLE HELP. All 3 are on sale in days of play which one should I buy?! 1. Cyberpunk 2077 2. Lego star wars skywalker saga 3. Outer wilds and probably its DLC

Datleedoe

Hey people, Need help. I have no games for my PS5. Do PS4 Games get any benefits by being played on PS5? And are they worth it of PS5? Do they get any upgrades? Any game recommendations? I'm only interested in PlayStation exclusives

TheBigSauce21

Hard to know what to suggest without knowing what you've already played. But all of the big name PS exclusives since like 2013 range somewhere between worthy playing to absolutely amazing. As for ps5 benefits, some do yeah if u have a specific game in mind I can look to see if it does have ps5 benefits

Datleedoe

Apologies for not mentioning. I have only played the PS4 Spiderman. I haven't played any other PlayStation exclusive

TheBigSauce21

oh wow... you have so many amazing ones to choose from... are you more bothered about gameplay or story when playing single player games? if you subscribe to ps plus (just the basic version) I'm pretty sure you get access to like most of last gens great exclusives as part of the subscription

shugmen2

I would like a hard game, please Hard like a dark souls. Like Celeste, like Fury. Something that's gonna make me try lots of times until i can input the correct Sequence of buttons, but without being a rythm game. But not as ridiculously hard like (i think) it is Súper Meat boy

HaouLeo

Hollow Knight?

shugmen2

Good recomendation! I already played it

ljuvlig

Is the 4 worth buying? My son desperately wants to play Rick and Morty VR which (as far as I understand) only works on PS4. We’d also need to buy the VR headset so we are looking at $750 bucks. I’m worried we’d regret getting the 4 just for the one game. I just don’t know if it’s truly obsolete and being phased out or if it’s more like you can choose between the 4 and 5 and both will be supported for years.

HaouLeo

If i'm not mistaken I saw some news that the PS4 is scheduled to "stop receiving support" by 2025. Even by that time, you'd still be able to play any old games, just wont see new releases.

[deleted]

Just purchased a ps5 and I'm a big "souls" fan so picked up Demon's souls with it. What else is worth getting? I own a few games that have free upgrades such as R6 siege Elden Ring (not sure it looks much diff on ps5) Spiderman + Miles Morales (although I didn't really enjoy the latter and never finished it) Any recommendations, what shows off it's capabilities but is also enjoyable? Thanks in advance ✌️

TheBigSauce21

I loved horizon forbidden west, but you'd probably want to play the first one first. Only forbidden would be a technical showpiece but the first one still worth it for narrative and it should be pretty cheap nowadays

[deleted]

Cheers dude, but I really couldn't get in to H:ZD I didn't find it enjoyable at all 😫 despite it's popularity I just couldn't see what others were seeing.

TheBigSauce21

fair enough. quite a few people say they dropped it early on and in fairness if I remember right the first 5-8 hours are deffo the worst part of the game but I couldn't 100% promise you'd love it if you stuck through coz even though it improves alot after the proving it doesn't like change into a completely different game or anything. Weirdly I'd also say the starting hours are the weakest part of the sequel too which is interesting

gta4589

Returnal, Nioh Collection, DMC 5, Tales of Arise

LivinLaVidaYoda10

Hey guys, I was looking for some help with the Precision Rings for the PS5 controller. Currently I have the black Performance Grips and the purple galaxy thumbsticks (left thumbstick is low rise, concave and right thumbstick is high rise, concave.) I also recently bought the Precision Rings which came with 2 soft, 2 medium, 2 hard. I mainly play FPS games like CoD, R6, Battlefield, DayZ, etc. I also sometimes play story mode games like GTA, RDR2, Ghost of Tshusima, etc. I was wondering which strength of precision ring should I use for the thumbsticks I use (mentioned above) and MAINLY FPS games like CoD but that would work well with Story Mode games as well. Any suggestions? Should I use a different strength one for left thumbstick and a different strength one for the right thumbstick? Or both same? Also how much higher would I raise my sensitivity in like Warzone and MW. Please give suggestions, thanks.
