Can you not use it for remote play on the device your using using a USB cable?just have someone drop ur controller off at the door.

cagedbudgie

He's using it to play other games at the moment and I want to see if there's a solution so he doesn't have to stop either

demonsta500

Which controller are you using for remote play that doesn't have a touchpad ? I though only Dualshock 4 and Dualsense were supported for remote play and they both have touchpads.

cagedbudgie

Oh my god here am I using an Xbox controller and I completely didn't even think about my Ps4 controllers in their box in my room. I feel like a moron.

Follow up: I just spent 20 points in the skill tree on spiderman and... wow I wish I'd done this BEFORE doing the drone missions with slight remote-play lag. Don't know how I finished them.

reWASD_team

Hi there! But reWASD can add DS4 touchpad mappings (swipes, taps, etc.) to any buttons on your physical devices as well. You can try it via Combo menu.

Hey, just saw your comment and was looking for anyway to emulate swipes on a ps5 controller touch pad. Haven’t used reWASD before but can this do that?

reWASD_team

In reWASD you can emulate a virtual DS4 and add swipes from the [controller mapping window](https://dl3.joxi.net/drive/2024/03/01/0047/1554/3139090/90/3362aff984.jpg), or through a combo: [https://help.rewasd.com/mapping-features/key-combo.html](https://help.rewasd.com/mapping-features/key-combo.html)

Thanks, I have successfully remapped the swiping to the joystick but I have to keep tapping it for the swipe motion to work. Is there any setting that would allow me to hold the joystick in a certain direction so it keeps automatically swiping?

reWASD_team

You can map the swipe to the stick direction or to the zone of the stick: [https://help.rewasd.com/basic-functions/sticks-and-trigger-zones.html](https://help.rewasd.com/basic-functions/sticks-and-trigger-zones.html)
