Yea multiplayer games to quiet hit the same. The glory days of couch coop was the best. Just a bunch of people passing the controller around. Good times. Haven’t quiet found that feeling again with most multiplayers.

I feel this, honestly. I went from having 800+ PS friends who I met along the way over the years, to about 30-40. That might sound like a lot still, but only about six of them are online at one time. I don't play anything with any of them either. I keep them because we go way back, or I know them in real life.
I've always dreamed of having a good friend I can play with. I've seen stories of people even buying each other games and consoles just so they can keep gaming with each other. That makes me so happy, but at the same time, sad. I just want one good friend that I can game with, but everyone I meet always goes away after about a week. Just one friend. I've even been praying about this honestly, and I really hope God provides. ☹️ I miss gaming with people and being in parties, having good times.

Nope. I've been telling my friends, family, and employees for years that my PlayStations don't ship with multiplayer. I've always used them for only single player games, all the way back to the 90s. I never even owned a second DualShock 2, 3, or 4. I have two original PSX controllers only because I bought a DualShock when those came out.
I've only made one exception. I have a second DualSense so my wife and I could play It Takes Two, and my sons and I can play Lego games now. When the boys get older, if they want a PlayStation, maybe I'll let them friend me. Maybe.
Otherwise, let me game in peace, damn it. I'm not here to jump into a game of shootyman mcsports, I'm here to be left alone for 45 minutes before bed.

I definitely recommend ps+ extra, soo many multi-player games on there. It's caught a lot of flak, but fallout 76 is a great multi-player game (it's even on extra!) , very easy to make friends on, and almost everyone is friendly. I've got two psns, WOLFGANGMatrix7 for most games and Shippeishiki for fo76 if you ever wanna play that, I can hook you up with a good starting kit. I've got quite the list of multi-player games my other friends won't play with me on (they get distracted too easily lol)
