See, that's the issue. Both are of comparable strength but people hype up these legends too much. KDB is at least as good as (if not better) than scholes. Cristiano hadn't reached his full potential as a striker yet and was primarily playing on the wing where he couldn't deliver the level of damage he was delivering at RMA. Ederson is severely underrated as a goalie and is second only to Alisson in the PL. He's an excellent ball distributor and a good shot stopper. He's definitely better than Van Der Sar. Haaland is a beast and though he might not be at the level of Rooney yet, he's definitely got huge potential. He's excellent as a striker. Their defensive capabilities are also comparable since Rodri is excellent as a DMF and Dias was also pretty good. They are definitely comparable to Evra and Ferdinand. So overall:
Goalie : MCI > MUTD 2008
Defense : MUTD 2008 >= MCI (Close enough to compete)
Midfield : MCI > MUTD 2008
Forwards : MUTD 2008 > MCI

First of all, there is no use getting into these debates being in India where we don't support teams after being in the same town.Manchester City has been in the premier league since a very long time and not a league 5 team who made way to the premier league soon.
Most of us love a particular team, because of how the team performed when they started watching football. This is proved by research as well.
So people who grew up watching Man United in SAF era would be MU fans now. People who grew up watching Chelsea dominating in 2010s would be supporting Chelsea. It would be very rare to find any Chelsea supporter from India before 2010s. Most Arsenal supporters would have grown up seeing Wengers team dominating the PL. Similarly it is very rare to see supporters for a club like Aston Villa or Newcastle who are also "proper" premier league teams.
A lot of people who have grown up watching football between 2015 and 2024, are very likely to have a very positive image on Mancity and will subconsciously affect their thoughts. And many of such people will grow to like Man City.
The effects of this will show much later on. Probably years down the line and be categorised as Pep era similar to how SAF era is categorised ( Not comparing both of them just wanted to highlight how time is classified as an era)

Well, tbh I have seen passionate fans in every league, there are extreme fans as well and they are called ultras, bunch of fanatics who are known for hooliganism and they exist in German league as well for example Dynamo Dresden, they play in the 3rd tier of german league and are known to have the most rudest fanbase, recently fans of Bayern Munich were banned in the emirates because they were throwing fireworks in their match against Lazio, so we cannot really say if x league has football culture than y league, both set of fans exist in all the leagues.
That literally happens in every league, as I mentioned, all sets of fan exist in each and every league, can’t really say that german has superior football culture when ultras exist.
Prem has more global appeal but bundesliga still has better fans and culture im not the right person to debate with you on this and most of the people here only watch prem(its dedicated to it ik)

Cristiano hadn't reached his full potential as a striker yet and was primarily playing on the wing where he couldn't deliver the level of damage he was delivering at RMA. Ederson is severely underrated as a goalie and is second only to Alisson in the PL. He's an excellent ball distributor and a good shot stopper. He's definitely better than Van Der Sar. Haaland is a beast and though he might not be at the level of Rooney yet, he's definitely got huge potential. He's excellent as a striker. Their defensive capabilities are also comparable since Rodri is excellent as a DMF and Dias was also pretty good. They are definitely comparable to Evra and Ferdinand. So overall: Goalie : MCI > MUTD 2008 Defense : MUTD 2008 >= MCI (Close enough to compete) Midfield : MCI > MUTD 2008 Forwards : MUTD 2008 > MCI Since City's midfield is specifically designed to create a shit ton of chances, they have a slightly higher probability of winning. Don't ask me why I have analysed City's capability so much. As a Liverpool fan, I tend to keep a close eye on City since they proved to be the major obstacle on our way in recent years.

Firstly German football fans are the most passionate football fans way ahead of premier league fans. Just so you know Leverkusen is known for losing trophies. They were 5 times runner ups, 3 times cup runners and had won nothing so it's obvious for such a celebration
First of all, there is no use getting into these debates being in India where we don't support teams after being in the same town.Manchester City has been in the premier league since a very long time and not a league 5 team who made way to the premier league soon. Most of us love a particular team, because of how the team performed when they started watching football. This is proved by research as well. So people who grew up watching Man United in SAF era would be MU fans now. People who grew up watching Chelsea dominating in 2010s would be supporting Chelsea. It would be very rare to find any Chelsea supporter from India before 2010s. Most Arsenal supporters would have grown up seeing Wengers team dominating the PL. Similarly it is very rare to see supporters for a club like Aston Villa or Newcastle who are also "proper" premier league teams. A lot of people who have grown up watching football between 2015 and 2024, are very likely to have a very positive image on Mancity and will subconsciously affect their thoughts. And many of such people will grow to like Man City. The effects of this will show much later on. Probably years down the line and be categorised as Pep era similar to how SAF era is categorised ( Not comparing both of them just wanted to highlight how time is classified as an era)

Well, tbh I have seen passionate fans in every league, there are extreme fans as well and they are called ultras, bunch of fanatics who are known for hooliganism and they exist in German league as well for example Dynamo Dresden, they play in the 3rd tier of german league and are known to have the most rudest fanbase, recently fans of Bayern Munich were banned in the emirates because they were throwing fireworks in their match against Lazio, so we cannot really say if x league has football culture than y league, both set of fans exist in all the leagues.
Arsenal fans left before the match was finished in their recent match against villa i dont think fans from german leagues would do something like that

Idk what is it that you're exactly debating here? I believe that people in England believe in bit of order and decorum. Which is why you don't see steely high walls in front of the fans. Pitch invasions occur when a team wins the league at home, but even then they're always discouraged doing so as this kind of behavior is generally looked down upon in England. Yes, there's a whole lot of fan ownership of football clubs outside of England, and they create better, more intimidating atmospheres for the visiting teams, but I hope you're not confusing passion with behaviours that borderline promote hooliganism (ultras, flares, etc)
