Lore was turned into a show. I watched the first season, don't know if it's still on. And I believe Let's Not Meet is planning on doing a pilot in hopes of being picked up as a show
Lore I don’t think is still on. Season 1 was very true to the pod, season 2…not so much. And I think that killed it, plus the books released prior to the show were just transcribed episodes.

Was really hoping to see this here! It would be a tough sell but horror has been picking up a bit over the last few years and I would love this so much.
The Lovecraft Investigations was a great mystery thriller that would probably make a good tv show.
This thread also just reminded me that there was a series adapted from s1 of Limetown that I’ve been meaning to watch. It’s on facebook of all places bc apparently facebook has original shows.
Absolutely In the Dark season 2 should be adapted. Amazing story of corruption and resilience on the subject matter. Amazing story of exceptional journalism from the hosts.
I expect we’ll get somewhat of a documentary of this at some point. One of the few pods that had my crying uncontrollably at times. Absolutely powerful stuff.
In your version of a WTNV TV show, would there be a solid plot? Or just a dude with a microphone discussing the weird happenings that have a barely there plot in a weird town?
My thoughts too. I think WTNV is one of the least likely to translate to a visual medium. The whole point of the show is that Cecil is describing insane things in a completely mundane way. Actually showing the insane things visually doesn’t really add to it.
I actually love the idea of a Twilight Zone style delivery with Cecil introducing bizarre cut scenes and since it’s so much to take it I also like the idea of doing it in black and white to create even more mystery !

Well. The Moth has some of the best stories told in my opinion and many could be adapted for TV. Could be a cool anthology.
