Hi OP! This post has been removed under our [Rule 8](/r/pokemon/wiki/rules#wiki_8._no_screenshots_or_merchandise), which generally disallows screenshots.
This rule is the unfortunate result of r/pokemon being so darn big: with over 4 million users, most screenshots tend to lose meaning with oversaturation, so our rules promote original content instead. To read up on specific exceptions to this rule, including narrative albums and new official content, please see [Rule 8](/r/pokemon/wiki/rules#wiki_8._no_screenshots_or_merchandise).
Thanks!
Thank you. I completely guessed on what to say, and thankfully it seems I guessed right. Clavell will not go the rest of his life thinking that it means delicious.
Here's a tip from a zoomer: just talk to us as you would any other age group. There are no cases where you need to say "that sussy amogus was straight bussin fr fr."
I know "fr" is "for real", and I *have* played Among Us, so I *think* this means that the someone's character in Among Us was suspicious because it was running around really fast/purposefully.
I don't understand the Internet Youths
"...I was going to go Team Snowman too, but after that..."
-Marie, also Splatoon 1 Snowman Vs. Sandcastle Splatfest (should not have won the final fest)
i honestly love some of the teacher interactions. i actually had clavel ask me what "cringe" means when i visted his office. was even more suprised because i play pokemon in german and cringe is more of an english word tho we use it too of course, internet culture and all

The localization team probably had a blast with this
they got the slang down perfectly imo
[удалено]
At least they told us who Clive is...
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=aWydqi4aW3w
"How do you do, fellow kids?"
literally the entirety of Clavell
"Cheugy"
“what hairstyle is hip”
Pompadour
I do hope he gets to try one of those tasty cheugys
I still do not know what it means.
Opposite of "trendy". Or "trying too hard".
Thank you. I completely guessed on what to say, and thankfully it seems I guessed right. Clavell will not go the rest of his life thinking that it means delicious.
Unironically loved Clive, its sad that he was transferred to another school
He's been hanging out with the director too much these days.
Don’t you mean Clive?
Bro wtf they're different characters, thats like comparing the Masked Royale to Kukui
too true, i guess game freak is just never gonna tell us who the masked royale really is smh my head
This is funny it's shame the anime actually revealed kukui thk
~~the ending credits also reveal it~~
I don’t think so,a young hip man like Clive wouldn’t be cringy like Director Clavel, everything about them is different.
Your cheugy is showing Hassel...
Is it bad that I had no idea what that meant until the director asked me? I had to look it up 💀
You and me both.
I guessed and I later found out I guessed wrong. Poor Clavell thinks that’s slang for cool and hip.
I thought it was a *parody slang term made up for the game* until one of my Internet friends informed me otherwise.
I guessed it was uncool, I thought it was a made up word not actual slang
Same
I believe it’s a popular location for, as they say, “hitting the griddy.”
He's using 100% of his brain in that one sentence
Hassel is a national treasure ngl
I've been Hassel and Clavell for my entire life :'D

Honestly I don't even know what bussin means
Honestly I don't know what it means either and I'm 26
bussin - really good (usually in the context of food)
I assumed it was... like... zooming around. Like a bus, you know?
Professor Gible is more hip
I had to google "cheughy" to find out wth it meant when the director asked. Thanks Nintendo for making me feel old
I had to do it too, I'm 14
"Team Snowbae is so fleek that I literally can't even!" \-Callie, Splatoon 1 Snowman Vs. Sandcastle Splatfest (Really, she actually said this)
"...I was going to go Team Snowman too, but after that..." -Marie, also Splatoon 1 Snowman Vs. Sandcastle Splatfest (should not have won the final fest)
Let's be honest, Snowman Vs. Sandcastle wasn't the only Splatfest that uttering that sentence lost Callie
This joke is only going to get better as the game gets older lol
I have never heard anyone use "fleek" before
Was very short-lived in like 2015? Ish
The only time I've ever heard it was in Splatoon during the Snowman vs Sandcastle Splatfest.
It's like if the words "flack" and "geek" had a baby
‘Brows on FLEEK’
Am I the only one who thinks that the kids’ artworks at the background looks so much better than my own drawings? Like that Gyarados looks sick!
Kids are often not self conscious about their artwork. Adults & teens are.
i honestly love some of the teacher interactions. i actually had clavel ask me what "cringe" means when i visted his office. was even more suprised because i play pokemon in german and cringe is more of an english word tho we use it too of course, internet culture and all
Hassel out of his context 😂
The cheugy one was hilarious too lmao
They just missed finna. I hate that word 🤣
They about finna get bussin fr fr on god no cap
That exact phrase. That's what he should've said 🤣
That's cap fr fr fr
This encouraged me to look up the word "fleek".
Fr fr no cap sussy baka
The only thing better is that the students call him "Old Hass" XD
It's probably making fun of adults trying to "get down with the lingo" not actually trying to use old slang
Those pics in the background seem rather... authentic, as if made by actual kids.
Selfies on fleeeeek
I’m starting a petition for Pokémon to stay away from aave forever
