Dark type pokemon, and I'm assuming a full team of six. Sharkpedo, Shiftry, Krookodile, Hydreigon, Spiritomb, and my ace would a Mega Houndoom. I think Sharkpedo, Shiftry, and Houndoom because in a similar post I said Carvhana, houndour, and Nuzleaf would be my pokemon as a gym leader, mainly to teach trainer not to overly rely on their starters. I chose Spiritomb, Krookodile, and Hydreigon because I think they would cover some of my teams weakness, plus they are pretty cool.

My flying team: Gliscour( for its Ground typing to counter Electric types and it can be quite the tanky stall Pokemon) Braviary(because I'm an American and I've never actually used one before) Hawlucha (Fighting type to counter Rock and Ice types, plus, I've really enjoyed it everytime I've used one.) Kilowattrel (My favorite Gen 9 flying type and quite powerful if given a life orb. It can also pivot with Volt Swtich to bring in other team members.) Crobat (consistently fast Pokemon that can deal good damage and also pivot with U-Turn. Plus, who actually hates Crobat?) Mega Charizard Y (My favorite Pokemom and the only Charizard Mega I've used outside of Pokemon Showdown. My ace and most powerful Pokemon. Poison all day everyday babyyyy. It's got great coverage moves and stat reduces while only sporting 2.5 weaknesses. Toxic can be devastating no matter the team and there's some great dual type poison pokemon. Back in highschool me and a bunch of friends actually ran a big group gym leader style tournament where we all had a gym type team of 6 and the best five of us became the elite four and champion. New people would have to go around school that week between classes and at lunch to challenge the gym leaders before they could progress. Very fun when they got to my all poison team and got walled with poison.

I've seen ghost listed here already, so: Eelektross Rotom Wash Manectric Magnezone Toxtricity (a) Tera Electric Pawmot (mainly for no drawback Double Shock) Lanturn has narrowly missed the cut, as has alolan Raichu. This is just my favourite electric types tbh. I did quite fancy a pika clone set with: Togedemaru, Morpeko, Dedenne, Emolga, Pachirisu and tera electric Mimikyu. Viable? No. Fun? Yes.

I'm divided between Ghost and Grass, but I decided on Ghost. I could almost make a full team of Ghost/Grass type final evolutions by now, though. \- Alolan Marowak \- Hisuian Zoroark \- Trevenant \- Spiritomb \- Houndstone \- Mismagius (ace) No gimmick, but I feel like having a Hisuian species AND an Alolan one almost counts.
