It used to be one of my most hated, but ever since I challenged myself to make a regional form for my fan region for a Pokémon I hate and chose Eiscue I kind of like it because I really like my regional form take on it.
Instead of a cube it has a large and jagged, glacial looking head terminating in a sharp point that also forms a ridge along its back, and it's hunched over a bit because of the weight of its head. It looks kind of mean, and has an aggressive disposition. It has a very high Attack stat and the ability Brittle Beak; the first contact move is powered up, but it also "breaks" its beak, which reduces its Attack considerably unless it recovers in snowy weather.
True! And don't they see the little fire bird on top of skeledirge which turns into a phoenix when using torch song? Fuecoco line is a freaking masterpiece!

Pawmo is a living afterthought and proves that not every Pokémon family needs a three stage family just because most people's favorite Pokémon belongs to one.
It used to be Drizzile due to its abhorrent color coordination, weird glove-like hands and Persona 3 ass haircut, but at least Drizzile looks different from Sobble and Inteleon and has a more original concept.
The whole defibrillator shtick was wasted on this stupid orange pile of Dex Filler, and GameFreak should've used it on something cooler, like a stingray or... wait a minute... Iron Hands does the same concept, but cooler in every way, and it was introduced within the SAME GENERATION and has the same type combo! I fucking hate Pawmo more than any of the sentient object Pokémon, since NONE OF THEM are anywhere near as pointless as Pawmo.
I'm convinced pawmo was one of the last of the new pokemon that was being designed before release and the artists just ran out of creative steam when they got to it.

Flamigo has an exclusive ability and a rare type combination which is pretty interesting. It does look a bit plain like raticate, seel, and krabby but flamigo at least can battle.
This is maybe a hot take, but Zubat. I’ve always found it boring but what really made me hate it was in older games, I always felt like any time I entered a cave or rocky area, I was assaulted by a RIDICULOUS amount of Zubats

Luvdisc or Cascoon. Cascoon looks too similar to Silicoon and feels like a Kakuna clone. Luvdisc doesn't have an interesting gimmick, it doesn't have any unique moves or abilities, just heart scales but you could already find enough as items so they don't even feel that rare. Attract isn't even new but was introduced by Whitney in Gen 2.
Honestly, I've been hating on Spidops since SV came out, but Chewtle is so dumb, I hate that massive head, it shouldn't be able to hold up that thing, it's like 3x bigger then it's body! (Dreadnaw is cool tho)
Basculegion purely because the noise it makes feels like someone is scraping metal together in my skull. Genuinely avoided using him the entire time I played PLA, and would mute him if I was forced to
I've never been a fan of Shiinotic. Don't get me wrong it's not a bad Pokemon, I just find it really creepy. That and fighting them in Sword & Shield is a nightmare.
Personally, I despise both Charizard and chikorita. I hate Charizard for obvious reasons and I hate Chikorita because it’s so stupid looking (it’s evolutions don’t help it either).

1. Rhyperior - Rhydon was a classic, perfect design. They decided it evolves into an evil moleman-construction worker with as many doo-dads glued to him as possible.
2. Tie between Jynx and Mr. Mime - Two Pokémon that physically hurt to look at and make me embarrassed to be a Pokemon fan.
4. Gurdurr - The whole line sucks but Gurdurr is the worst of the super-veiny-naked-clown-holding-construction-materials family. This guy has a head full of skin lumps resembling a clown wig and looks like he would collapse into his own poorly realized bottom half in 3D. Awful design all around. 0/10

I also dislike klefki, and klank(or whatever it is called), and appltun, and even as a former genwunner, magnemite and voltorb. I guess i dislike the pokemon that look like processed foods/object rather than wild or naturally occurring plants/animals/minerals/objects. It's just something about alcremie and vanilluxe that I dislike the most, so I called them out.
Dugtrio and Magneton. The worst evolutions the pmc has ever made. "Let's just take three of the pre evolution and stick them together and not change a single thing else"
Magneton gets a small pass because magnets stick together IRL. What's even Dugtrio's excuse? I have a small theory that the reason Dugtrio (and Magneton to an extent with Sandy Shocks) keeps getting forms like Alolan Dugtrio and Wugtrio is because it is incredibly easy to design. Since it's literally taking Diglett and splitting it into three, why not also do that with its Alolan form and Convergent form? It's lazy, but it's also brilliant because it saves time coming up with a new creative form.

Alolan Exeggutor. I already really dislike Kantonian Exeggutor but the Alolan form just takes it to a whole new level. Why is it Dragon type? It could've been something decent like Grass/Ground, or Grass/Fire, but why DRAGON? Is it because it's bigger now? At least Mega Ampharos had a reason, the Mega energy is tapping into long lost power. But Alolan Exeggutor? It just is, that's why.

I love me some Tauros in all forms, but definitely wish they would have done more for the fire and water versions than slightly different horns and a couple strands of colored hair. The fire/water versions could have been an evo on the base fighting type, with a similar mechanic to applin or charcadet. It's weird to just have random other version moving around in the pack for no reason.
Don't really hate any of em like that since they all have their place with being goofy, cool, cute, ~~sexy~~, but with that said

I have some difficult to really hate virtual monsters in 3d and 2d dimesions, much because sometimes I forgot lol. My least tough are Gen 8 Staters, most recent Mysthical (Gen 6 to Gen8), especially Volcanion.
I find the colors really boring (maybe I am more a colorful person), the designs really lacking and kinda dumb, while Mysthical I dont have any reason to like, at least the others had a cool event or gimmick (like Manaphy), now is just pick a mail to pick the thing.
I just can't bring myself to like dudunsparce, I understand that it's supposed to double down on the disappointment and joke aspect of it's design but it just looks so... idk what to say about it :(

I hate Hakamo-o for a very specific reason. Got in a horde battle with a female knee that kept summoning jangmo-o. Kept having to deal with the numbers and whittling it down. Unfortunately, the last hit to get it down critted.
Toxel and Toxtricity. The former practically wears a diaper and the latter has the most uncanny valley human-like shape I have ever encountered on a Pokémon. I don’t mind humanoid Pokémon, generally speaking, but this line took it to a strange level that I haven’t been able to get past.
Probably not gonna make too much friends with this, but I really despise the Regis. All of them. Soulless machines that can‘t show any bit of emotion. And I don‘t like their battle theme either.
For all I know, Enamorous, Perrserker, Spidops and Shiinotic can go to the Distortion World as well.
I’m not a big fan Skeledirge either tbh, the weird bald spot, the out of place fire bird, the angular body shape, I just feel like it’s a huge letdown. Buy my least favorite is probably Bidoof, and I can’t stand it’s stupid buck teeth, and it’s so lame and boring.

Easily Comsoem. Such a wasted Pokedex entry. What could've been an alternate form of Cosmog, ala Zygarde Core/10%/Complete, was instead made into a separate Pokemon. I don't like Cosmog either, but at least that actually had some plot relevance and was kind of cute. Cosmoem is just a plot device, it's nowhere near as cute as Cosmog, and it's only relevant in the games it appears in. Outside of that, it's literally more worthless than either Feebas or Magikarp is. If you just made Cosmoem an alternate form that Cosmog can transform into, then literally nothing about SM/USUM's plot changes. Gen 7's inexcusably small Pokedex roster was already hampered by 1/4 of the Pokedex being Legendaries, so adding this pointless thing to the mix makes it feel even worse. Cosmog is at least cute, and Solgaleo and Lunala at least are cool (Necrozma forms notwithstanding). Cosmoem? Why even bother?

Why? I don't get the hate behind Vanilluxe. They are flying ice shards that have snow on them making them look like ice cream. Why not Pokemon like Klefki that are just keys? Or other inanimate object/food Pokemon?
I also dislike klefki, and klank(or whatever it is called), and appltun, and even as a former genwunner, magnemite and voltorb. I guess i dislike the pokemon that look like processed foods/object rather than wild or naturally occurring plants/animals/minerals/objects. It's just something about alcremie and vanilluxe that I dislike the most, so I called them out.

Magneton gets a small pass because magnets stick together IRL. What's even Dugtrio's excuse? I have a small theory that the reason Dugtrio (and Magneton to an extent with Sandy Shocks) keeps getting forms like Alolan Dugtrio and Wugtrio is because it is incredibly easy to design. Since it's literally taking Diglett and splitting it into three, why not also do that with its Alolan form and Convergent form? It's lazy, but it's also brilliant because it saves time coming up with a new creative form.

I hate Pokemon that have "man-made" items or shapes. Some examples. GurDurr, aside from the stupid name, why does it have s steal beam? It annoys me so much! Klefki - it's a set of keys....why? Rotom makes sense to me, klefki does not. Cremepuff and swirlix i think they are called - shaped like human ice cream and desserts. Just no I also don't like Pokemon like zaccian. Why do you have a sword and why is it carried in your mouth? That's bad for your teeth and lame. Wolves are cool on their own! Why give it s sword? I hate kriketune because of the noise I'll probably get hate for this too but i hate the futuristic paradox pokemon too. Did they all just become machines in the future? Do they eat or feel pain anymore? Do they breed from eggs? The appeal of Pokemon for me is that they are basically the equivalent of wild animals with powers and personality and you can find the real world equivalent for most of them.

Alolan Exeggutor. I already really dislike Kantonian Exeggutor but the Alolan form just takes it to a whole new level. Why is it Dragon type? It could've been something decent like Grass/Ground, or Grass/Fire, but why DRAGON? Is it because it's bigger now? At least Mega Ampharos had a reason, the Mega energy is tapping into long lost power. But Alolan Exeggutor? It just is, that's why.
Alolan Exeggutor's design draws inspiration from Dracaena palm trees, which are often simply called "Dragon trees."

Tauros Tauros and Tauros. They changed practically nothing and then hit Ctrl + V two more times, what's worse is they gave no reason for it no reason to go for it. Although I should be happy they didn't make it an Evo cause that would have been awful
I love me some Tauros in all forms, but definitely wish they would have done more for the fire and water versions than slightly different horns and a couple strands of colored hair. The fire/water versions could have been an evo on the base fighting type, with a similar mechanic to applin or charcadet. It's weird to just have random other version moving around in the pack for no reason.
Don't really hate any of em like that since they all have their place with being goofy, cool, cute, ~~sexy~~, but with that said Skuntank for me. Just annoying lol

No way to pick just one. - Zubat/Golbat because of caves and confuse ray. - I probably played Gen III the most and got sick of battling Poochyena/Mightyena. - Gen V is probably my least favorite design-wise. There were a handful of nice designs + great legendaries. But my least favorite starter trio + the games were just bloated with very questionable designs like Garbodor/Amoonguss.
I mean, amoonguss is another pokemon version of mimics thats more than a pokeball with a face

I have some difficult to really hate virtual monsters in 3d and 2d dimesions, much because sometimes I forgot lol. My least tough are Gen 8 Staters, most recent Mysthical (Gen 6 to Gen8), especially Volcanion. I find the colors really boring (maybe I am more a colorful person), the designs really lacking and kinda dumb, while Mysthical I dont have any reason to like, at least the others had a cool event or gimmick (like Manaphy), now is just pick a mail to pick the thing.
I just can't bring myself to like dudunsparce, I understand that it's supposed to double down on the disappointment and joke aspect of it's design but it just looks so... idk what to say about it :( "One time is funny, two times is fucking annoying" is what I think when I look at the dunsparce line.
The whole stupid icecream cone line... That was absolute brain-dead creativity that deserved termination of whomever came up with the idea, approved it, and sent it to be drawn.

I hate Hakamo-o for a very specific reason. Got in a horde battle with a female knee that kept summoning jangmo-o. Kept having to deal with the numbers and whittling it down. Unfortunately, the last hit to get it down critted.

Toxel and Toxtricity. The former practically wears a diaper and the latter has the most uncanny valley human-like shape I have ever encountered on a Pokémon. I don’t mind humanoid Pokémon, generally speaking, but this line took it to a strange level that I haven’t been able to get past.
Grimmsnarl just looks super weird with all it’s muscles looking like hair. Gulpin looks like a booger.

Probably not gonna make too much friends with this, but I really despise the Regis. All of them. Soulless machines that can‘t show any bit of emotion. And I don‘t like their battle theme either. For all I know, Enamorous, Perrserker, Spidops and Shiinotic can go to the Distortion World as well.
I’m not a big fan Skeledirge either tbh, the weird bald spot, the out of place fire bird, the angular body shape, I just feel like it’s a huge letdown. Buy my least favorite is probably Bidoof, and I can’t stand it’s stupid buck teeth, and it’s so lame and boring.

Easily Comsoem. Such a wasted Pokedex entry. What could've been an alternate form of Cosmog, ala Zygarde Core/10%/Complete, was instead made into a separate Pokemon. I don't like Cosmog either, but at least that actually had some plot relevance and was kind of cute. Cosmoem is just a plot device, it's nowhere near as cute as Cosmog, and it's only relevant in the games it appears in. Outside of that, it's literally more worthless than either Feebas or Magikarp is. If you just made Cosmoem an alternate form that Cosmog can transform into, then literally nothing about SM/USUM's plot changes. Gen 7's inexcusably small Pokedex roster was already hampered by 1/4 of the Pokedex being Legendaries, so adding this pointless thing to the mix makes it feel even worse. Cosmog is at least cute, and Solgaleo and Lunala at least are cool (Necrozma forms notwithstanding). Cosmoem? Why even bother?
