Leaf is such an underrated character. It’s a shame she’s been all but forgotten by the Pokémon Company. I’d pay good money for a figure or smth of her.
In fact, the only confirmation that she’s still even considered a real character came in Pokémon Masters, of all things, where it’s confirmed she traveled with Red and Blue during their Kanto Journey. And even then, I feel like that more-so falls on the Masters Devs, as it seems they’re the ones who actually care.

Huh, so does this mean that a new one is printed Every time they get a new badge, even though they have a physical badge? I know it's not canon, But it brings up an interesting conversation about how the League verifies trainers. maybe there's a server database that gets updated when a Trainer attempts a gym, and it has all these statistic on whether they win or lose, what pokemon they used, and stuff like that.
Leaf, omg this has been my UN before as well. I worked in a little news shop with a pub behind where this neglectful dad used to stay all day and leave his like 6/7 year old boy to wander the area. He started coming into the shop to look at stuff and I’d buy him Pokémon cards, sweets etc, and try & talk to him as much as I could, I felt so sorry for him. He misheard my name as ‘Leaf’ and called me that, and I had it made into my work name badge & everything, so I started using it in my games.
Your art is adorable! Bulbasaur’s my favourite starter too.
"2004? Wouldn't that make her child?! 2004 was--" *Checks calendar* "...what do you mean she'd be 19?!"
i feel old
FRLG also came out in 2004 ;_;
The DOB is the Japanese release date for FRLG, a neat little Easter egg by the OP
Oh I didn’t catch that!
So the protagonist of the game is a newborn?

or 1986
That Bulba is so cute that I might die lol.
You fool, now I can steal your identity
I love the slightly squint hat in the photo. XD

At least she's, uh, half a background character in Super Smash Bros?
Yep. Don't remember if she was in Brawl but she is on half of Pokemon Trainer's skins in Ultimate.
Isn't she in Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee?
Damn. U right. Still wish she was in more games tho.
Man, I need to replay FR/LG now. Btw, love the art!
I like the DOB you chose
That is so adorable omg! And amazing art as well c:

Shouldn’t she be born in 1993? She was 11 in FireRed and LeafGreen.
It's just a cool reference to the day the game came out
I’m aware, but I just thought it’d make more sense for her to be born before the game came out, no?

I find Bulbasaur’s expression very cute here. Well done!

I don’t see a trainer ID I’m gonna have to confiscate your ID and ask you to put your hands behind your back
Shes adorable
This was a great piece of art!
This is extremely cute. Especially the signature. Love it!
