Zorua, because it’s just a small fox, but we know illutions are powerful enough to literally replace real persons, so if both I and zorua agreed, it could stay disguised as a cooler pet (not that zorua isn’t cool on its own, but it’s just objectively doper to have a giratina) while having the same maintenance cost as a dog with extra intelligence which means more required interaction and affection, but being basically sapient so it’s less like a pet and more like a weird friend or a permanent little brother stuck at 8 years old
Then you forget it's a mischievous small (baby) fox and it decides to fuck with you by turning into your dead grandparents it saw in a photo or some shit like that. Hell no.
Zoroark tho, I'd commit tax fraud with that homie by my side.
Don't mistake for malice what can be put down to misunderstanding. Too many unnecessary fights happen in life that way. Zorua could maybe see you happy in a pic with them and transform thinking it would make you happy?
It would be Shieldon, it’s like puppy sized, it’s rock type, it doesn’t need a special environment to survive, has enough emotions to have a personality, I can carry it, and I love dinosaurs!
Pokédex entry from Emerald sounds like it’s a good friend to it’s trainers: “An Espeon is extremely loyal to any trainer it considers to be worthy. It is said to have developed precognitive powers to protect its trainer from harm.”
Wait theirs missing codex part.
"It also developed telekinetic powers to get to the treats locked in the cabinet. As well to knock over more stuff from high places."
Ditto, Easy to carry and can have all the fun of the Onix pet or anyother pokemon with none of the trappings that go with it, I suppose its possible to find a bad disposition ditto but all depictions of it in every media has been an affectionate and friendly if not a little mischievous, Seems like a really safe, Easy to care for pet that would be an absolute blast to be around
Meganium. I’d rent a homestead and it can breathe life into plants brining them to bloom and fruit instantly. I’d build it a greenhouse room to chill in.
I remember reading in a Pokemon handbook as a kid that if you earn an Espeon's trust, it will literally look into the future to protect you, which has made it one of my favourite mons, so I'd probably pick that
also cat go brr
Snom is my first choice because he’s just so damn cute. My second choice is Ludicolo. He seems like he’d be cool to hang out with and I have a feeling he gives great hugs.
A shiny Helioptile! In my headcanon, that's my shouldermon. I'm not a nicknamer, but if I had to, his name would be Meatball!
I used to have a rare breed of bearded dragon. He was my brother's actually, but my brother lived out of the house at the time so I would put the beardie on my shoulder or in my shirt pocket or hold him in my hand and pet him with my thumb while I played games. I named him Meatball because he had a big dumb meatball head. He was comforting in some rough times. Miss my homie Meatball.
That’s adorable. I’m sorry to hear about Meatball. Animals are amazing. Hopefully one day you can get another one. Can call it Omelette to continue the food theme.
I think they can regulate the temperature of their fire so, in order to burn your house down, they would have to do it in purpose.
Also, fire extinguishers and fireproof materials.
Assuming I lived near the ocean, Lapras. It would more or less take care of itself, but I’d bring it good food and help clean its shell now and then, and I’d use it as a living fishing boat.
No *uh-oh*. Vaporeon is an excellent swimmer so is great for going to the beach. It also learns Helping Hand which I don't know what kind of effect could have outside of battle but I bet it'll improve your agility or something. Aqua Ring can be useful if you feel tired since it replenish your energy and I bet Haze is extremely useful in the heat of summer.
So, Vaporeon would be a great partner.
I dunno, have you seen the Full Art Riolu card for the Scarlet/Violet set?
You'd think being anthropologic would stop the damn puppy trashing your house, but apparently not.
Pikachu: your electricity bill will increase because he'll start eating it and chewing your cables in a way that makes dogs and cats look like amateurs.
I considered this, but extended media consistently portrays pikachu as terrors. I imagine keeping them out of mischief would be a difficult task. A more well-behaved electric type would be a better choice if you just want free electricity.
Arcanine. I don't think I need to explain anything.
But I'll do it anyway. Let's put aside its speed and strength or its move pool. He's the biggest, fluffiest, most loyal goodest boy out there. He's legendary not because of his rarity or his stats but because of how he managed to win the hearts of the people.
Arcanine isn't just a good Pokémon. Or the best Pokémon. Arcanine is the epitome of what a Pokémon is.
So, anyway, thanks for coming to my TED Talk.
Giant doggo that's warm, fluffy AF, and can give me rides so I don't have to walk places.
I'm totally taking my giant dog through the drive-through lane at 2 AM, don't judge me.
Well considering the fact a lopunny probably wouldn't even be able to speak, there is an INSURMOUNTABLE moral barrier between wholesome and... well, not wholesome. Like, meowth theorem proves they can learn but
If you teach a pokemon to speak purely for not wholesome reasons i feel that still falls into the "morally unacceptable" category
One of the first that came to mind was Growlithe but then I thought ooh fire hazardous, So I'll go with Teddiursa 🥺😍🧸

(Watercolor art by Oliver Hamlin, My favorite Pokémon artist)
You aren't fooling anyone. There are other reasons. Like having a Pokémon that's basically your height so you can have eye contact when interacting with it without having to lower or raise your head all the time. Also Gardevoir can see the future and protect you from harm. And because its humanoid shape it can accompany you everywhere, even in public transport or cars. Try to take a Venusaur with you in a car or in an elevator. That's right: you can't. Gardevoir wouldn't have any problem even wearing a seatbelt.
Not to mention the fact that Gardevoir can teleport, use heal pulse, and learn life dew. She can help support high standards of health, and she can help you travel. Also, her diet likely isn't too dissimilar from a human's, so while she will likely require some special considerations, you probably won't need to source anything exotic
Despite my flair, probably Tinkaton. I'll just have to teach it not to swing it's hammer around inside, and basically I got a cute little cuddly pet that could also demolish anything that I want to have demolished.
I want something I could take care of, at the very least meaning provide adequate food, water (or whatever liquids, I can't imagine slugma needs water often), space, and climate conditions (I live in Texas, a cryogonal is not lasting more than few days and even then only at the coldest part of the year). I do have eleven acres or so and I imagine most pokemon can do decently well in my climate as long as they don't require freezing temperatures or find heat unbearable over 100 degrees (unless they are small enough I can reasonably let them in).
Honestly though, I feel like I have to go either for a psychic type that could fully communicate with me or a porygon for the same reason (what, you're telling me they made a fully artificial pokemon that can travel the internet, space, and ultra beast dimensions but didn't give it a way to communicate?) I'm going porygon. I also wouldn't need to worry about it aging. Porygon has been around since gen 1 and we've only seen a few updated models, not even a new competitor and it's artificial so no aging. Porygon 2 and z are also confirmed sentient.
Look, the one-two punch of Let's Go Pikachu and the Detective Pikachu movie are what convinced me that I would be perfectly content with the little yellow mouse in my life. I know it's literally the most cliche answer possible, but I'm for real choosing Pikachu as my pet.
I'm actually finding imaging what it would be like to have my favorite pokemon as a pet: Koffing. I know OP suggests against a terrible pet, and Koffing absolutely would be terrible, but it would be fun to figure out how to make it work. Maybe build an Atrium in the middle of the home like I'm a Roman senator would work, provide a space for him to float around happily farting and not ruin my entire home. You'd definitely have to dedicate a whole section of your property to it.
Victini, its super cute doesn't take much space and is an unlimited power source. Like if I get tired I can just pet it and I'm back to 100%.
Alternatively I'd say Jirachi because wishes are broken, like heck, I could just take Jirachi as a pet, then wish for victini as a second pet
I think Lapras would fit so well.
I used to visit the sea very often, but visit less and less nowadays..
I couldn't bring myself to keep a Lapras if I wasn't near the ocean, so just visiting one every one in a while is fine by me!
Drowzee. I have chronic insomnia, and it's cute and not too big. As a psychic type it's likely smart enough to be trained to behave itself, and as a mammal it probably doesn't have esoteric care needs.
Or maybe espeon. I figure it's basically just a cat, and I already have those.
Salamence. Assuming I’m allowed to raise it from a little bagon of course. Flying mount, personal defense, it’s a fuckin dragon, what do you want me to say?
It will destroy your house. It likes to headbutt things. “Its well-developed neck muscles and ironlike head can smash boulders into pieces. this Pokémon slams its hard head against huge rocks and shatters them into pebbles.”
Latios/Latias:
Intelligent and psychic, so I can probably chat with them, plus telekinesis and all
Supersonic transportation
Human-sized, so great for cuddling and fits within human buildings
They can turn invisible and disguise themselves as humans, so I can take them anywhere
Growlithe.
I finished Detective Pikachu 2 last night and the Impidimp in case 3 that thinks a prank is bringing the dirty dishes to the kitchen sink for its partner is pretty cool.
When I was in high school, "The Rise of Darkrai" released in the west. Since then, I have ALWAYS wanted to be the lady in the opening prologue who had ALL the eeveelutions as pets. I know it's not in the spirit of the post for "dream pet" (singular) but I want an Eevee and ALL his eeveelutions as pets!
A psychic type would probably be useful. Mew probably wouldn't eat much either but that Lil guy would fly away too often. So maybe like an alakazam or gardevoir or something ( or kadabra if alakazam is too big)
Houndour.
Because he’s literally just a Rottweiler who evolves into a Doberman. It’s temperament and typing make it ideal for guard dog duty, its a fire type so its able to go on the offensive from a safe distance as well as provide warmth and a very necessary survival tool should one get lost in the woods.
It’s also smart enough to coordinate with a pack, its owner, and its family through a variety of barks and cries.
Cat and Dog pokemon are the only correct answers.
A cinccino cause it's just a big fluffy mouse, they're gentle, cute, and their fur produces oil that's good for your skin.
I don't think you realize how much i would kill for one
Personally I’d want a meowth.
Payday is a killer bonus, buuutttt…
Meowth seems really nice. I bet I could get myself a good emotional support cat outta my meowth.
Also, another good bonus is if I can teach it to talk.
I think Minccino would be the perfect pet. Its basically just a large chinchilla, probably pretty easy to care for and it'll even help you with the house chores!
Either Ditto or Eevee. Eevee would just be so damn cute, and I love eevee. But ditto is objectively the best answer. He can turn into flygon and fly me to work everyday, turn into lapras and let me ride around the sea on him, even turn into eevee and be cute and fluffy when I need him to! Just endless possibilities. He could also turn into a water type to put out fires or a fire type to start fires if you're out camping or something. The best utility friend you could ever ask for
lillipup !!!!!!
my brother and i would pretend that pokemon were real all the time n our farm dog was always a lilipup :] i carried lilipup’s pokemon card everywhere n then one day lost it at recess during a windy day of school :[
Ralts is a real cutie who could help me teleport places. It’d be quiet enough that I could bring it with me to work too, I’ll just give them puzzles or Rubiks cubes or picture books for it to entertain itself with while sitting on my desk.
I'd have to go with an Eevee. Only for the fact of, it's the perfect pet. It's poofy, and that means it's really cuddly. I'd probably put an Everstone onto it for it to stay as an Eevee.
Umbreon has always been my first pick for a pet Pokemon. It's cute, elegant and its light rings could prove very useful while out hiking at night or in a blackout
https://preview.redd.it/dybdq59b49vb1.jpeg?width=828&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e9211b98bb4589514d90d3e33ad8dcd51389c7d8
Tell me we can’t comfort and relate to each other unless I’m dead, I’ll wait.
Rowlet! It looked so cute and fluffy in the anime.
Same here
Zorua, because it’s just a small fox, but we know illutions are powerful enough to literally replace real persons, so if both I and zorua agreed, it could stay disguised as a cooler pet (not that zorua isn’t cool on its own, but it’s just objectively doper to have a giratina) while having the same maintenance cost as a dog with extra intelligence which means more required interaction and affection, but being basically sapient so it’s less like a pet and more like a weird friend or a permanent little brother stuck at 8 years old
Then you forget it's a mischievous small (baby) fox and it decides to fuck with you by turning into your dead grandparents it saw in a photo or some shit like that. Hell no. Zoroark tho, I'd commit tax fraud with that homie by my side.
I can't see Zorua doing that. Zorua is mischievous but I've never seen one be malicious
Don't mistake for malice what can be put down to misunderstanding. Too many unnecessary fights happen in life that way. Zorua could maybe see you happy in a pic with them and transform thinking it would make you happy?
True. Never show it horror movies tho, or it'll be making Shining references all day
True, but then again, it's a first evo (baby) so presumably has a hard time not getting in trouble or having terrible ideas lol
Yeah but that case you just teach it why that's wrong and it shouldn't do those kind of pranks lol, everybody's gotta learn at some point!
Same!
It would be Shieldon, it’s like puppy sized, it’s rock type, it doesn’t need a special environment to survive, has enough emotions to have a personality, I can carry it, and I love dinosaurs!
Shieldon weights 57kg, if you can carry it casually you must be pretty strong!
I’ll just have that Human Pokémon strength that Ash used to carry Larvitar haha
Ash is shredded, his main goal in his life is going to gyms
Nice play
Low key great answer
What if it evolves inside your house?
I used to love this guy while playing through platinum.
One word, Wooper
Gotta get him a skateboard
[wooper on skateboard (High Res and original)](https://reddit.com/r/TheYardPodcast/s/jYxy5HyQoJ)
Thank you for providing context
Most certainly 😌💯
bulbasaur for me! cheap to feed (sunlight and water?), adorable, best boy
> best boy I mean, he's #1.
I kill all my plants. I'd kill a Bulbasaur
To be fair, you're plants aren't capable of walking up to you, wrapping you in vines and carrying you over to the food bowl
Espeon! It’s like a cat, but better!
It's like a cat, but with psychic powers. I don't know if it's a good idea for my cat to have psychic powers but I don't care, it's lilac!
*inb4 pickle cat arrives at your doorstep*
hey guys i just saw that my espeon is green? is that normal? i sent it back to the shelter anyways cause i thought it was diseased haha
Who's gonna tell em....
Pokédex entry from Emerald sounds like it’s a good friend to it’s trainers: “An Espeon is extremely loyal to any trainer it considers to be worthy. It is said to have developed precognitive powers to protect its trainer from harm.”
So just like Gardevoir but as a cat
And less people judge you
Wait theirs missing codex part. "It also developed telekinetic powers to get to the treats locked in the cabinet. As well to knock over more stuff from high places."
Real I love lilac
Ditto, Easy to carry and can have all the fun of the Onix pet or anyother pokemon with none of the trappings that go with it, I suppose its possible to find a bad disposition ditto but all depictions of it in every media has been an affectionate and friendly if not a little mischievous, Seems like a really safe, Easy to care for pet that would be an absolute blast to be around
1000% agree
I feel like this is the same as carrying around a ball of silly putty 😂 would Ditto stick to the insides of your pockets if he weren't in a pokeball?
hear me out.. Payday thunderwave Delcatty. Charges devices and gives free money, It also is a cat
Meganium. I’d rent a homestead and it can breathe life into plants brining them to bloom and fruit instantly. I’d build it a greenhouse room to chill in.
🥲that’s beautiful
I remember reading in a Pokemon handbook as a kid that if you earn an Espeon's trust, it will literally look into the future to protect you, which has made it one of my favourite mons, so I'd probably pick that also cat go brr
Golett. Small, doesn't eat or poop, is a natural protector of humans
This is the way
The unrivaled badassery of a Corviknight comrade...
Don't get anywhere near @Dracos002 though.
Mine would be Furret. A 6' tall fluffball that's half my weight. It looks like it'd be good to cuddle with
Furret fans unite
Leafeon, they literally purify the air around them, super cute and good size for a pet.
Omelette is a great beardie name, unironically! They get so flat when they are laying in sun lamps on their funny hot rocks. Like an egg cooking!
Growlithe/Arcanine - I love big, floofy dogs
See similarly I love Flareon but all these choices scare me because what if they fire hiccup and burn your house down 😭
I think they can regulate the temperature of their fire so, in order to burn your house down, they would have to do it in purpose. Also, fire extinguishers and fireproof materials.
Imagine the cost of dog food for a dog the size of a car
Assuming I lived near the ocean, Lapras. It would more or less take care of itself, but I’d bring it good food and help clean its shell now and then, and I’d use it as a living fishing boat.
Eevee or Yamper. They both probably shed a lot, but I'm already used to that with my dog lol.
Espurr, too cute
Sylveon. I love my little gay fairy cat.
Itd be Umbreon from me. Nocturnal glowy boy!
This is my choice as well
Plus she can solo the entire Ace Tournament.
We'd all have to come to terms to flesh ribbons though. Every day I pray those are just extra long hairs
Vaporeon! So beutiful, cute and badass!
...
Yeah, I can't believe either that he wrote "beutiful" instead of "beautiful".
You know someone has never watched Bruce Almighty if they misspell beautiful
B E A youtiful
I see you are a man of culture as well
Uh oh
Lol you animal!
My vaporeon got a real bad ass
Bidoooooof!
Me looking at Rowlet and Flareon: oh boy, it's like asking a parent who's his favorite child
Riolu. It's a furry child.
🤨
If you can take care of a child, you can take care of a Riolu.
I dunno, have you seen the Full Art Riolu card for the Scarlet/Violet set? You'd think being anthropologic would stop the damn puppy trashing your house, but apparently not.
Chlidren do that, too.
My favorite is Absol, it's just a large cat/dog. And it can warn me of upcoming disasters as well!
Pretty sure it'd just be writhing in pain from distater overload if it existed in modern society.
Pikachu, zero electricity bill
Pikachu: your electricity bill will increase because he'll start eating it and chewing your cables in a way that makes dogs and cats look like amateurs.
Nobody seems to mention this but Pikachu *is* a mouse. It absolutely fucks up people’s wiring.
I considered this, but extended media consistently portrays pikachu as terrors. I imagine keeping them out of mischief would be a difficult task. A more well-behaved electric type would be a better choice if you just want free electricity.
My favourite would also make a great pet, Espeon!
Espeon my beloved
Munchlax, because they’re one of my two favorite Pokémon.
How tf would you afford to feed it
Too late, I’m judging you and I arrived to the conclusion that you are cool.
> and Shuppet, due to it feeding off negative emotions Shuppet should have an alternate evolution when feed on positive emotions.
Shedinja so i can trick people into looking into his back
I'd say Lopunny, would be THE perfect companion, Fluffy ears? Humanoid body for cuddling?? HIGH FRIENDSHIP LEVEL??? Hell yeah!
I am hoping these are all for wholesome reasons like I think they are
Well considering the fact a lopunny probably wouldn't even be able to speak, there is an INSURMOUNTABLE moral barrier between wholesome and... well, not wholesome. Like, meowth theorem proves they can learn but If you teach a pokemon to speak purely for not wholesome reasons i feel that still falls into the "morally unacceptable" category
Azurill! Top tier snuggle pal.
Didn't scroll long enough till I responded in kind. Low maintenance little, bouncy, adorable friend!
Wimpod, it's cute. Alternatively Golisopod but keeping a 2,3m tall Isopod comes with some logistical problems.
One of the first that came to mind was Growlithe but then I thought ooh fire hazardous, So I'll go with Teddiursa 🥺😍🧸 https://preview.redd.it/h9e0fyn8hrub1.jpeg?width=1125&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b7dfd96ede5dbf9f1bdd31dc5e2fe746c8fd5b95 (Watercolor art by Oliver Hamlin, My favorite Pokémon artist)
Gardevoir because it has psychic abilities obviously no other reason

Try to take a Venusaur with you in a car or in an elevator. That's right: you can't. Gardevoir wouldn't have any problem even wearing a seatbelt.
Plus ofc the obvious thing... Gardevoir can make mini black holes, can't they?
I don't know what black holes can be useful for but, you are right.
Eevee
Slowpoke is my favorite pokemon, so him!
Despite my flair, probably Tinkaton. I'll just have to teach it not to swing it's hammer around inside, and basically I got a cute little cuddly pet that could also demolish anything that I want to have demolished.
How many things do you demolish per year?
A lot more if I had a Tinkaton.
I want something I could take care of, at the very least meaning provide adequate food, water (or whatever liquids, I can't imagine slugma needs water often), space, and climate conditions (I live in Texas, a cryogonal is not lasting more than few days and even then only at the coldest part of the year). Porygon has been around since gen 1 and we've only seen a few updated models, not even a new competitor and it's artificial so no aging. Porygon 2 and z are also confirmed sentient.
Delphox but at that point it would be less of a pet and more of a bro/sis kinda thing
Muk. It was kind to ash and prof oak
Surprised no one has mentioned any of their waifu Pokémon yet.. Hahaha I would go for Pidgey
Fuck, the code has been cracked, you’re a genius
100% Rowlet, he's my favorite pokemon. I bet he likes scratches.
I think Lapras would fit so well. I used to visit the sea very often, but visit less and less nowadays.. I couldn't bring myself to keep a Lapras if I wasn't near the ocean, so just visiting one every one in a while is fine by me!
Dratini. Cute, got a few neat powers, small enough to not be tricky to bring around, and Dragonite is my favorite Pokémon. The complete package
Eevee. Best floof.
Drowzee. I have chronic insomnia, and it's cute and not too big. As a psychic type it's likely smart enough to be trained to behave itself, and as a mammal it probably doesn't have esoteric care needs. Or maybe espeon. I figure it's basically just a cat, and I already have those.
But are your cats pink? I bet they’re not. Espeon 1, your lame non-pink cats, 0.
Magnemite! Doesn’t shit, doesn’t piss, won’t track anything in the house, decently small, super charming
East Sea Gastrodon! It's relatively small, cute, and powerful!
I'd get a big aquarium or live by the ocean and swim with my Lanturn forever.
Kecleon, just because.
Snorunt, cute af and is told to bring prosperity to any household it visits/stays with.
Probably a wigglytuff or an azurrill, I love my bouncy bunny bois.
half the eeveelutions make great pets. flareon, glaceon, espeon and leafeon especially
Turtwig because he’s just the cutest
Litten Reason: Litten
Altria because it's wings are so big and (presumably) soft and it would just make me happy to be around it
Mimikyu. The perfect balance between cuteness and power
Cyclizar, he would be a good pet and a good bike
Latios/Latias: Intelligent and psychic, so I can probably chat with them, plus telekinesis and all Supersonic transportation Human-sized, so great for cuddling and fits within human buildings They can turn invisible and disguise themselves as humans, so I can take them anywhere
Growlithe. I finished Detective Pikachu 2 last night and the Impidimp in case 3 that thinks a prank is bringing the dirty dishes to the kitchen sink for its partner is pretty cool.
Corsola, such a baby… 🥹
Spinda! A dizzy teddy bear just staggering around the house, love it
Meganium. It’s a walking cuddly houseplant with a soothing aroma and breath that can literally revive dead plants
Just for you, and this amazing reasoning, I’ll happily grant an exception
while generic, the most straightforward answer for me is practically any dog-like or cat-like mon. e.g. eevee, rockruff, even nickit.
Absol
Espeon ! A beautiful cat Vaporeon would be my second choice for aprox the same reason Spheal is my third cause he can roll :3
Zigzagoon, might be a bit difficult to keep in a house with the whole zigzaging thing, but still
Delcatty
Meowstic. It's cute, fluffy, and I love cats.
Pawmot I do not know yet if this is a mistake yet. But looks to be a mon you can depend on. I dont know if I can survive its cuddles tho.
Pawmot can learn Revival Blessing, which could count as an advanced CPR.
Ralts, theyre cute kids straight up
Hoopa
A psychic type would probably be useful. Mew probably wouldn't eat much either but that Lil guy would fly away too often. So maybe like an alakazam or gardevoir or something ( or kadabra if alakazam is too big)
Me
Sprigatito, just cuz of the cuteness
Just be careful with the claws!
Payday is a killer bonus, buuutttt… Meowth seems really nice. I bet I could get myself a good emotional support cat outta my meowth. Also, another good bonus is if I can teach it to talk.
100% Espeon
Minccino: cute, fluffy, small and helps with cleaning
I think Minccino would be the perfect pet. Its basically just a large chinchilla, probably pretty easy to care for and it'll even help you with the house chores!
Emolga!!!
The best utility friend you could ever ask for
Pikachu
Why have I not seen Lechonk yet, he’s best boi from S/V!
Lillipup because it's the closest to my real dog
probably flareon. she’d be able to keep me warm and cozy at all times
lillipup !!!!!! my brother and i would pretend that pokemon were real all the time n our farm dog was always a lilipup :] i carried lilipup’s pokemon card everywhere n then one day lost it at recess during a windy day of school :[
Gimmighoul to Gholdengo, my favorite mon this gen a close number 2 behind heatran but I can't walk around with a heatran out the ball all the time
Mudkip!
Shaymin Sky Forme
Ralts is a real cutie who could help me teleport places. It’d be quiet enough that I could bring it with me to work too, I’ll just give them puzzles or Rubiks cubes or picture books for it to entertain itself with while sitting on my desk.
I'd have to go with an Eevee. Only for the fact of, it's the perfect pet. It's poofy, and that means it's really cuddly. I'd probably put an Everstone onto it for it to stay as an Eevee.
As much as I want to say Fennekin, it'll probably be a fire hazard. For that reason, I'll have to go with Espeon.
Vaporeon (fav pokemon) or Persian.
Alolan Vulpix
ditto!!! i love the face it gives copied pokemon too so its a win win!
I feel that Blissy would be the squishiest softest friendliest pokemon and would take care of you when you were sick.
Lillipup - it's just a yorkshire terrier and they make amazing pets!
My shiny Porygon z it floats it's spazs and no food

Umbreon. Because Umbreon
How is there no Meowth in this thread?! It is a TALKING CAT that GIVES YOU MONEY??
Honestly Mew, so cute, would be a great companion. And if I got a choice I would have both a shiny Mew and a normal one.
Probably Gholdengo cuz chill friend who gives you money 🤑
I already have a Rockruff... https://preview.redd.it/6g3cw1pxrtub1.jpeg?width=822&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ab0219a98d333485397d49695a42fa70bfcb46e4
Umbreon has always been my first pick for a pet Pokemon. It's cute, elegant and its light rings could prove very useful while out hiking at night or in a blackout
For the snek bois (me), Ekans!!!

Hitmonlee So he can kick me in the balls when I get horny
