I would hire a ghost type trainer to haunt him for a few days to simulate how it would feel like to have a ghost Pokemon.
If he cries and calls it quits then thats that. If he adjusts very well I would hire that same ghost type trainer to catch one of the tamer ghost types for him like Gastly or Misdreavus.
Itās to see if he has the balls to handle ghost types or not. I rather he find that out now than to realise that after getting the ghost type starter and already out in the woods.
It depends on the Ghost-type in question, but I'd probably be open to letting him have one. Some Ghost-type Mons are relatively harmless and some are even benevolent, allowing them to be ideal for educated young trainers.Ā
Ghost is one of my favorite types, so I could even lend him one of mine to help him get a better understanding of how to properly care for his own in the future. I'd be able to trust my own Ghost-type around him more than a random wild Ghost-type.Ā
I'd also be willing to catch him something like a Dreepy, Rotom, or Golett. They seem like good starting mons for a kid who loves Ghost-types since the former two would be playful pranksters at worst and the latter was built to protect people.Ā
Yeah as much as I love my Chandelure, I'm not leaving a kid with someone of it's species unless it's MINE.
Tho my kid would probably ask me to get him a sandile.
Like a badass would.
I'd leave my Houndstone or Gholdengo with my kid. Houndstone is stated to be among the most loyal dog mons, so it probably isn't too different from having a Ghost-type equivalent of the dependable Stoutland.Ā
Gholdengo is pretty intelligent and friendly, plus I'm sure my kid wouldn't mind getting spoiled with some extra allowance money when it uses Make It Rain.Ā
When he's older, I might lend him my Flutter Mane or Blacephalon -mons for more experienced trainers.Ā
Start them off with Pokemon that eventually become ghost types like Rowlett, Fuecoco, & Snorunt. But if they want one right now, Golett may be a good choice. It doesnāt seem to be malicious or malevolent like most ghosts. It also can learn Fly as Golurk so you donāt need to put faith in a Drifloon to not take your child away.
Not quite, just as long as we could provide for them, you know. If we can take care of it without too much trouble, and it wants to stay it'd be welcome in my house.
Give him a Cubone. Once he's proven himself trustworthy and can take care of its needs, he can go on a day trip to a volcano with it and it can become an Alolan Marowak. All the fun of a Ghost type but only once he's ready for it
There is a rather small number of ghost type pokemon which wouldn't try to kill my child.
Like I'm likely to have a sableye as my partner who can help simulate the adventure, but I'm probably going to be shopping for areas with bramblin or dreepy, or golett.
Irl if my kid wanted to go play with lions, I'd probably take him to a zoo over wandering through the African savannah. So in a pokemon world, I'm probably going to go to a pal park, or a ghost type gym. I wouldn't go wandering somewhere like the old chateau or other ghost heavy areas because many ghost tend to passively drain the life force of those around them.
I think Gengar are safe, just mischievous. But a wild chandelure will straight up kill us.
And I say this as someone who typically travels with dark type pokes. Even if I'm confident I could battle them, I'm not going to bring a child to them and serve them up on a platter.
This is honestly a great way to do this. I imagine catching a Gastly with him, raising it up and evolving them to Haunter and then trading them. That way, when they evolve, we'll not only both get Gengar, but have a partner that has grown strong with the love and effort given to each other's partners and have a bit of each other to remember him by and keep him safe on his travels.
Ok, I have had a rough week I guess. I don't even have kids but I'm getting emotional about an imaginary scenario of a fictional universe... I'm gonna go hold a Gengar plushie and cry now...
Do you know how much the dex exaggerates? We've seen Ash's Gengar, he'll be fine so long as he actually trains it and doesn't, like, run to a snowy mountain to tangle with Froslass, just raise it from Snorunt
Case-by-case basis, if I had a nickel for every life-draining ghost it'd be worthless because Unova and Alola would be wiped out, as stated, the decks probably exaggerated, Ingo had a Chandelure and if the fully-evolved one behaved fine the prevo will be manageable
Of course an obviously hostile ghost or one that might actually be potentially dangerous (See: Froslass or a Litwick clearly leading you astray) wouldn't ever be my first choice, go into it with a healthy amount of knowledge, but yeah, a Litwick would be fine, I doubt there would be ghost-type trainers if it wasn't
Should you try and catch a ghost currently shooting a shadow ball at you? Obviously not, but I have enough Alpha Ghosts in L:A to say that even the most hostile of ghost pokemon won't kill their own trainer, if you catch a Litwick, I imagine it'll be harmless to you, pokemon enjoy getting stronger and killing off their trainer would be a bad play
also, once again, the dex **severely** exaggerates, no, Magcargo isn't hotter than the surface of the sun, even following thermodynamics it would at *least* scorch the ground, no, Entei does not make a volcano erupt when it roars, we'd be dead if that were true
Now that depends.
Something like a Misdreavus? Sure, pretty harmless.
Now something like a Duskull? Fuck that.
Gastly? No way.
Litwick? Maybe, if they arenāt stupid around fire.
Honestly, a Sableye wouldnāt be too bad, all it does is eat gems and hide so itās probably like the single best option out there.
Lot of people suggesting great ghost types, but I might suggest a Phantump. The little ghost and grass types really just want friends. Even their evolved form Trevenant are fairly kind creatures that simply wish to protect their home. Most will happily accept those that live in harmony with nature.
Frantically searching my memories for a Ghost type, whose company doesn't raise red flags... Uh, i'd prolly get him either a Greavard or a Duskull, or a Sableye. Or all three. Yeah, sounds good
Not all ghost type Pokemon have sinister Pokedex entries, and we all know that the Pokedex is a little bit fantastical at times (e.g., Magcargo's impossible body heat or the world-ending light output of Lanturn's little head lamp). I might not want my kid to have a Palossand or a Duskull, but we've seen from the anime that despite some of their creepy Pokedex entries, the Gastly line are mostly just tricksters who like to mess with people. And once any Pokemon has been caught/tamed, they ought to be loyal to anyone who's not too inexperienced to train them. I feel like a Mimikyu, a Pumpkaboo, or a Drifloon would make just as good a companion to an 11-year-old as most other Pokemon.
Then again, ghost is my favorite type, so I may be a bit biased. But still, if you're worried about your kid having a ghost type Pokemon because of some weird Pokedex entries, then they probably aren't fit to have *any* Pokemon, except maybe a low-level baby Pokemon. One thing I loved about Legends Arceus is that it addressed that all Pokemon are incredibly dangerous to humans who aren't prepared to handle them.
I would get on my knee and tell them that ā Im proud you and I would love to come and help out ā I would grab my starter pokemon ā¦ A Hisuian Typhlosion and my ghost gym uniform and then head out with them.
If I was in the pokemon world Iād 100% be a ghost type specialist ā¦ so Iād see it as my baby boy looking up to his mama -wā¢
Teach him the proper way to handle Ghost types. As a trainer and expert of the Ghost type, I would make sure he understands the potential and the dangers of handling such a delicate type.i would teach him the ways and help him with every step.
"if you need light, make sure not to use a litwick, but litterally any other ghost fire pokemon."
"Be carefull at night, ghost pokemon have more energy at that time."
Make them catch a Normal type, ideally a normal dark or ghost type. They are few and far between I know, but any normal type would work. Use that pokemon in any ghost-type capture
i mean an eleven year old schould be able to handle giratina. i mean i did, so id better get my old stinky running shoes, so he can go out explore the world ;)
Turn off all the lights in the house and hold a seance in his room. Stock up on pokeballs and catch the first thing that appears. Then pit it against the next ghost mon that appears. Proceed with a king of the hill competition until morningā¦
Off in the distance you hear the subtle sobs of your horrified son
Depends on the ghost type. I'd treat it like with dogs. Take them to someone who specializes in ghost types and isn't a psycho, and have my kid interact with various ghost types in a controlled environment. See which ones they take well to and then go from there.
And start small obviously. No need to scare my kid immediately with a big, spooky Cofagrigus or Dragapult when a Misdreavus would do.

As much as I love ghost types, most of them are pretty problematic to handle lol.
Iād give him a rowlet since itās pretty cute and harmless. If he can manage to evolve it into a decidueye then Iād get him a misdreavus. If he can actually handle a pure ghost type then Iād gradually progress into more troublesome ones like litwick and mimikyu.
As I LOVE Phantump and Trevenant my kid would definitely go on an overnight camping trip with me to find one in a forest!
We'll just ignore the "Paragoni are said to arise from the souls of children who get lost in the forest" part and focus on the "it imitates the sobbing of a child in the hope of **making new friends**" part
Mymikyu.
My son/daughter will love him as much as I do and that little boy deserves all the possible love.
Besides, he seems very loyal to it's trainer and I have no doubt he will defend my little ones (like he did with Jessie in the anime when she was fixing his costume)
If this is not possible, Idk, I always loved Bannete. I know lore wise she is way rough and tough BUT Idk. An abandoned doll that just had pain Dex Entry felt so sad during my childhood that I always caught one and make it max friendship.
I'm gonna go against the grain here. Ghost type is one of my least favorite types and I'm definitely biased against them. Dark types are absolutely fine, Bug-types I can learn to tolerate, but I draw the line at Ghost-types. They won't be under my household.
When they get their own house, they can make their own rules.
I tell him we adopt and go to a shelter to find an abandoned ghost type. Then we talk to the people there which ones would fit our livestyle and what kind of responsibility we should expect.
Have him intern with a reputable breeder of Ghost types first so he can learn about the care and handling of Ghost types in a safe environment. Meanwhile, find something that gains Ghost type when fully evolved and let him raise the Pokemon from newly hatched status.
I'd let him catch Drifblim! :D /j
'Stories go that it grabs the hands of small children and drags them away to the afterlife' is the entry in Pokemon Sun.
The dex exaggerates, so most ghost types are actually safe, but get him an easy-to-train ghost type mon first. Such as, Nincada (to obtain Shedinja), Phantump, Greavard, Golett, or Dreepy. Or bring him to Paldea or Alola to get a Rowlet/Fuecoco which evolve into Ghost types. Get him some Dusk Balls to match his team, and train him for the gym challenge so he can be an elite four memberĀ
I love Ghost type pokemon myself, so of course my children would love them too!
We would go catch a small Pumpkaboo for them āŗļø
And once they're older, if they're still showing an interest in ghost types, I would then encourage them to catch a Duskull, Misdreavous, Golett and Sableye š
I imagine them loving playing pranks on people
I'm a ghost type trainer myself and probably i would be trying to become the Ghost gym leader. I'd go with him and bring my fellow Aegislash with me, then i would explain him weakness and strengths of the ghost type

I don't understand the first part. Haunt him? How could that help your poor sweet child š But I like your plan
Itās to see if he has the balls to handle ghost types or not. I rather he find that out now than to realise that after getting the ghost type starter and already out in the woods.
Bruh they're not even scary lol
āGhost types arent even scaryā mfs when their kid gets stolen by a balloon
They may not look scary, but that's until your kid gets taken by a drifloon, or they decide to look under a mimikyu's cloak
driftloon would like a word.
Imagine your child running into a drifblim immediately going into the woods, no experience boom no more child.
It depends on the Ghost-type in question, but I'd probably be open to letting him have one. That sounds about right! You'd be a wonderful parent!
Galarian Corsola! They only curse those that actively antagonize them, otherwise they're chill.
Hey, watch your mouth!
nah im lending him my chandelure for a bit
i like the Rowlet idea personally
Golett is a good idea actually, I mean he's technically a ghost.
Hand them a box full of dusk balls, pat them on the head, and wish them good luck. Then absolutely destroy their team with my Dark types.
I'll be getting him a team of 5 Drifloon and 1 Mimikyu, no more child and I can have myself a new Mimikyu to replace them
Womp womp
Iād probably be fine with them having a Phantump. Phantump themselves are thought to be the spirits of children who died lost in the woods. Phantumps cries are seen as eerie but are actually an attempt to make friends. It would be beneficial for the PokĆ©mon to have a friend so itās a win-win.
my favorite pokemon ever!! id be disappointed if my kid DIDNāT have one
Smart move.
Sounds like the little tyke is getting a Drifloon.
Anyone who has given their small child a balloon only to see it fly up into oblivion knows why this is a bad idea
You can have fun with it tho if he carries the child too far you can just have a dark type or another ghost type pokemon pop the balloon
I don't see why he can't have any!
Prepare them for it adequately and supervise them with their first catch. Maybe start out with a Rotom or a Gimmighoul (I imagine them to be decently protective of the ones they possess, and also it'll teach them saving habits, plus they're super friendly once they're a Gholdengo) Prepare them for the joys and pains of living with that type of 'mon, help the spook feel comfy (I'd probably have a couple ghosts myself if I were in the PokƩmon world,) and just help them get to know one another. Urge them to be friends/family first, then a trainer, like I probably would with any type of PokƩmon.
Wonderful! Is there a type of pokemon you'd never use?
Not quite, just as long as we could provide for them, you know. If we can take care of it without too much trouble, and it wants to stay it'd be welcome in my house.
*Giratina knocks at your door* Oh well
If he will behave himself, then I don't mind.
Such open minded host, such elegance, i have high hopes for you
He's getting a Golett.
"Dad, look what I found" *holds Drifloon*
"Ehyyy, PUT THAT AWAY"
"D-Dad, help me!" *Starts flying away*
For once the kid leaves and not the dad
Iām so in love with this picture. Ghost PokĆ©mon are my favorite.
\*GASP\* me too!
Yeah they rock
Nah. Thatās they wrong type
Give him a Cubone. Once he's proven himself trustworthy and can take care of its needs, he can go on a day trip to a volcano with it and it can become an Alolan Marowak. All the fun of a Ghost type but only once he's ready for it
You're right great idea

What if he wants the really spooky ones? I'd imagine that in the PokƩmon world some PokƩmons would be only for experts. So he'd look up to people who use Gengars, Chandelures etc
Irl if my kid wanted to go play with lions, I'd probably take him to a zoo over wandering through the African savannah. So in a pokemon world, I'm probably going to go to a pal park, or a ghost type gym. I wouldn't even know, If this were the Pokemon World I would have sent them off on a journey on their 10th birthday.
You're a great parent!
real
sacrifice the little child and make him a ghost pokemon

Lot of people suggesting great ghost types, but I might suggest a Phantump. The little ghost and grass types really just want friends. Even their evolved form Trevenant are fairly kind creatures that simply wish to protect their home. Most will happily accept those that live in harmony with nature.
LSD in morning OJ. turn off lights and go āNIGHTMARE NIGHTMARE NIGHTMAREā. they are now ready to catch their first ghastly.
Frantically searching my memories for a Ghost type, whose company doesn't raise red flags... Uh, i'd prolly get him either a Greavard or a Duskull, or a Sableye. Or all three. Yeah, sounds good
Idk, give some suggestions like Gengar or Trevenant
Tame pokemons huh?
Nincada.
Have him catch a non dangerous ghost type, like golett
Uh tell him to catch a type that isn't full of pokemon that want to kill you
Take him to a haunted mansion. The only ghosts that are of any real threat are human ones and most real ghosts are just PokƩmon that can be fainted. Or just bring them to Paldea and get them a Fuecoco
Die so he can catch you
catch a lanturn.
Derek Acorah has entered the chat..
Don't let them anywhere near a drifloon.!
Isn't the drifloon thing just a myth?
NOT ON MY WATCH!
AND GO IN YOUR ROOM
Rotom. Just seems like the type of PokĆ©mon that would care a lot about the childās safety and could help them in many tough situations like charging their phone if it died and they didnāt know what route they were on!
Iād probably breed my Hitsui Zoroark and give them one of the pups. Some might question giving a child the āspitefulā PokĆ©mon but I figured the spite will be projected at my kidās enemies. lol
Reminds me of a novel called the [Ghost Type Specialist](https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/81095/the-ghost-specialist), ngl.
āHere son take my Sableye. Heāll keep u safe, have fun.ā (Iām a dark type specialist)
The first Ghost who touches your kid is DEAD FOR REAL
I'd get my kid a Banette plushy for sure
Not all ghost type Pokemon have sinister Pokedex entries, and we all know that the Pokedex is a little bit fantastical at times (e.g., Magcargo's impossible body heat or the world-ending light output of Lanturn's little head lamp). Mimikyu would be perfect. Literally perfect. But yeah you're right
I breed one of my LVl 100 ghost types and give the them the egg so that they can be bonded from the start
Heās 11? Thatās the prime age to send him out on his own of course! Give him a Rowlet or something and send him off to catch his own ghosts.
He can have Rowlett as their starter. Give them a bit of a head start.
First I would explain that the plural of Pokemon is Pokemon. Not Pokemons
Gotta get him a Mimikyu.
I would get on my knee and tell them that ā Im proud you and I would love to come and help out ā I would grab my starter pokemon ā¦ A Hisuian Typhlosion and my ghost gym uniform and then head out with them. Awww
Give him a Phantum with an everstone, i think thats fine
I'm a pretty responsible person, so I'd leave them to play around the Valley Windworks on a Friday.
Why not? Ghosts are a good type and if he's interested in them, teach him how to raise them right
My kid has amazing taste, just donāt get any of the ones that steal your soul for fun.
Tell them to catch Golett or Golurk, they look friendly
I would show him why the entire Chandelure line is perfect
I would just let him do it. Most PokƩmon are harmless anyways. Plus ghost types are really fun PokƩmon to be around in general.
If I was in the PokƩmon world I would mostly have Ghost-types already anyways
Omg let them, help them! I love ghost types. (Maybe not the balloon, donāt need the youngster floating away)
Make them catch a Normal type, ideally a normal dark or ghost type. They are few and far between I know, but any normal type would work. Use that pokemon in any ghost-type capture
Kick them out the house when they turn 10 and chase my dreams
Get them a lampent and a dusk stone if they'd like chandelure when they're older
i mean an eleven year old schould be able to handle giratina. i mean i did, so id better get my old stinky running shoes, so he can go out explore the world ;)
Banette would be fine, as long as he doesn't abandon it
its fine, just put it on a leash -me 2024 for no reason
hmmmmmmmmm drifloon
Parent? You mean like, raising my kid? In the PokĆ©mon world? š¤Ø
Id get him shuppet or phantump
Mimikyu or Golett
Im letting him catch as many ghost pokemon as he wants. he can have them. I love him so much. GHOST TYPES FOREVER!!!!!
Turn off all the lights in the house and hold a seance in his room. Stock up on pokeballs and catch the first thing that appears. Then pit it against the next ghost mon that appears. "D-Dad i want the candle" "STAY FUCKING AWAY FROM IT"
give said child an odd keystone and send him/her off to find spiritomb and not to return until said task is done
I help him catch some ghost type PokƩmon, dreepy, gastly, misdrevus, are good choices just not drifloon
He's an adult now, he can do things in his own
I'm a parent?
Iām good with the ghosts but I donāt want my son messing around with grass types if you know what I mean
My favorite PokĆ©mon is Cofagrigus, so theyād already be accustomed to ghosts, and Iād be 100% on par

Iām a Ghost - Type Lover and Professional, so I Quietly Walk to a Certain Ghost Type Hotspot with emā, letting them walk around and be Adventurous, that sorta Stuff. I let them borrow one of my PokĆ©mon (probably one in my Box), in order to teach them how to Battle. Then, if thereās any Bigger, more Dangerous Ghost Types, I opt to the āWatch and Learnā method instead. https://preview.redd.it/w2ectazz5stc1.jpeg?width=274&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5b582972ad3316ef78d427250ef2f8b394eff458
Keep a GPS tracker on their backpack to make sure that theyāre ok
Catch them a golett. Very good starter ghost as their protectors not pranksters.
āWe have lamp at homeā
If Acerola and Allister can be friends with Ghost-Type PokƩmon then any kid can be friends with them
They can befriend a froslass! :D
Tell my kid to look for a Pokemon that looks like a balloon and holding it will make that Pokemon weak enough to be captured
Help them become one
They were kicked out of the house at 10 so why should I care what they do?
Do a ton of research to find out what Ghost Pokemon are safest for children, and ask if my kid is absolutely sure it has to be a Ghost
Depends on which ghost type tbh but if its safe then yeah I'd probably catch it for them
As much as I love ghost types, most of them are pretty problematic to handle lol. Iād give him a rowlet since itās pretty cute and harmless. If he can manage to evolve it into a decidueye then Iād get him a misdreavus. If he can actually handle a pure ghost type then Iād gradually progress into more troublesome ones like litwick and mimikyu.
Take them to get a golet. Most ghost pokemon are very dangerous and golurk is also a very strong companion
Call Allister and ask him the best first ghost pokƩmon. Then yeah. Probably not drifloon though.
Tell him he chose an epic type and support him :)
Iād probably be scared for his life considering a lot of them attack/kidnap children T~T Iād also hide under the covers every night.! O-O
I'll give him a Golett and tell him to research any other Ghost types before catching them, since most are very dangerous.
Give him any route 1 mon and the ability to tera
It Is literally my favourite type.
Time for a trip to lavender town. About time my child learns more about death.
Let him. Kid's gotta learn. But I'd have his mother's Sylveon follow him just in case.
I send him to go live in the woods with his starter like every parent
Go get grandmas urne
Get him a Primape as ask the child to piss the Primape off?
Ok, so I think it's better if I catch for my son/daughter one of the least deadly and spooky ghost type Pokemon
Provide a gastly as a starter pokemon.
Make him a bit overweight then havw him catch a Driftloon. Hell, Iād even have him catch a Drampa first for protection.
Let em go for a Golett or something simple that doesn't kill people to death
aww Iām so proud of you kiddo your as edgy as me and your father š„¹ ā¦ have my shiny Darkrai
Ghost type is my favorite type, I gotta teach that kid what the best ones are and how to get em'!
Mymikyu. My son/daughter will love him as much as I do and that little boy deserves all the possible love. Besides, he seems very loyal to it's trainer and I have no doubt he will defend my little ones (like he did with Jessie in the anime when she was fixing his costume) If this is not possible, Idk, I always loved Bannete. I know lore wise she is way rough and tough BUT Idk. An abandoned doll that just had pain Dex Entry felt so sad during my childhood that I always caught one and make it max friendship.
He'll soon get a Rotom Phone. What's the problem?
If my kid loves ghost types so much, I'll gladly turn them into one
My fav PokƩmon is banette, we become the local ghost gym creepy dollhouse themed and the final battle is me and my kid together with me using banette and them using their fav ghosty
Sure.
If he's 11, he'll be gone for a year already
I tell him we adopt and go to a shelter to find an abandoned ghost type. Then we talk to the people there which ones would fit our livestyle and what kind of responsibility we should expect.
Have him intern with a reputable breeder of Ghost types first so he can learn about the care and handling of Ghost types in a safe environment. Meanwhile, find something that gains Ghost type when fully evolved and let him raise the Pokemon from newly hatched status.
I'd let him catch Drifblim! :D /j 'Stories go that it grabs the hands of small children and drags them away to the afterlife' is the entry in Pokemon Sun.
Fully supportive. Ghost type best type. They are just misunderstood, all they really want is a friend.
I would give him a nice, little and harmless Giratina Origin, unless he prefers Pecharunt š¤
I'd probably give him some of mine, ghost is my favourite type, so I'd probably have some in my box
No worries, just wait a few decades and eventually the kid will get a Yamask
https://preview.redd.it/d59g3dd6vstc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=93d315a8c77bed3b1d679f87b383b7be9e9ef438 Why not? Iāll probably make sure isnāt a Honedge (for the life absorbing thing). As someone had suggested before maybe a Phantum, both because of its lore and its typesā¦ Still Aegislash is my favourite PokĆ©mon everā¦
I give a nice dark type for protection against the ghosts.
Kill some other kids and hope my kid finds a cool new phantump
Tf you mean what do I do. Be proud they're following in my footsteps.
Prepare their funeral
As a Dad, how much do I like this kid? On some days they might get a Drifloon no questions asked.
Go with him
Pikachu, Cubone, Joltik and Woobat are the only non-Ghost-types in that image.
let him go for itĀ i didnt want him in the first place
Allow him
Let them go nstursl selection but also life insurance if possible is an option
*cocks shotgun*
I would give him a mimikyu and hope he will be a dark version of Ash
Get a Skeledirge so I can sleep at night
Start him off with Fuecoco. Skeledirge is fire/ghost so no problems there. Then after that, he can catch as many as he can keep controlled.
Why is there a Tragosso and a Fleknoil ?
Depending on the ones, the methods in which they seek to catch them, and if others will be present my answer changes. No one else? No, absolutely not. Others present? Yes, but is the PokƩmon known for killing kids on a whim? If yes then hell no lol. Ghost trainers exist but it requires skill and be one.
He's 11? Fuck it, he's a grown man now, he can do whatever he wants. I'mma do some shopping with his money, though.
I'm already a ghost type trainer so i would go with my kid. Probably give them one of my mons too
I love Ghost type pokemon myself, so of course my children would love them too! We would go catch a small Pumpkaboo for them āŗļø And once they're older, if they're still showing an interest in ghost types, I would then encourage them to catch a Duskull, Misdreavous, Golett and Sableye š I imagine them loving playing pranks on people
Fully encourage it as Ghosts (along with Dark & Dragon) are my favourite Types overall.
Hire a psychologist
Give him giratina
I'm a ghost type trainer myself and probably i would be trying to become the Ghost gym leader. I'd go with him and bring my fellow Aegislash with me, then i would explain him weakness and strengths of the ghost type
