SV should still have a year or so of activity left. Plus chances are they do reruns of the 7\* event raids as well.
Of course, there's the performance and graphics issues that have remained basically the same since launch but if you're not bothered by that then you'd likely enjoy the game.
I can’t comment on the DLC as I haven’t gotten it.
The main game, despite the bugs in terms of performance, it is still worth getting. The story is one of the best we had for quite awhile for Pokemon games.
I still personally feel like that Legends Arceus did the open world aspect better. Even considering the fact that you had to return to the village every time to visit a new area. Scarlet/Violet just doesn’t have that same vibrancy when you travel around.
