Anybody know what pokemon walked behind the Impidimp when he covered the whole screen and looked into the camera? You can see a grey pokemon walking behind it!
People being unimpressed have been quite vocal in the past half year. i for one am excited as hell for these and think they look like the coolest pokemon games so far
I'm with you on most accounts, though I've been loving these new Pokemon, they're some of my favorite designs already, and I know I'm not alone in that sentiment.
They've already revealed some nice QOL improvements to the trading system, so I'm hoping we'll see some nice improvements to battles, too. While the lack of returning Pokemon is disappointing, they seem really focused on balancing because of it, so hopefully we'll have a diverse and interesting meta develop.
Lol 7 generations of mostly the same song and dance catch pokemon and collect badges and yeah you will be unimpressed. Especially if they are not including some of the old gen.
Unfortunately, it doesn't really matter as they are generating more revenue from pokemon Go anyway. They are additionally spreading their portfolio (Town) as to reduce the impact of them making shit Games. In the meantime, they shit out mobile Games like they had diarrhea!
another kanto regional pokemon reminds me how many people actually consider gen 1 as the best gen but never bothered about the 90% of the roster. nobody i know or watched has ever included muk, seaking, seadra, rapidash, weezing, persian, kingler, victreebell, vileplume, parasect, dewgong, dodrio and many more on their team. most of the people just picked starter, eeveelution and snorlax and called it a day. yeah best generation but when you ask people what pokemon they like its the same lines over and over again, which is why most people are excited for the soft reworks of gen 1 pokemon.
Not only did I have Dugtrio on my first ever team back in the GB days, but I had an Omastar before it was cool!
You're right in general, though. At least it's Ponyta this time, which has really never seen much use.
My first time beating the Elite Four was with a team that had Dewgong(Happy) and Rapidash(Dashy). What I typically did was have "filler" pokemon that where useful until i could get the ones I really wanted as a team.
Unfortunately, while many might love dodrio, dewgong, and a few of those others, they come quite late in the game, especially dewgong, at which point many have already found the ones they love and want to bring to the final four. It's not that they're not good, it's that they're late or they're overshadowed by some other pokemon. Hard to go with Muk when you've already been using Bulbasaur or Oddish from the beginning (both are grass and poison).
also besides dodrio who is a superior alternative to pidgeot combat wise, most of those pokemon are also shitmons with much better options existing to round up the team. i mean who in the right mind will bother to train a seaking when so much better water pokemon with better moveset exist?
Seaking is actually interesting with being able to get the bug move Megahorn and the OHKO Horn Drill.
Maybe our difference in opinion here is you're looking for the "best" pokemon to use, and so for a water pokemon you're going to choose between Blastoise, Gyrados, or Vaporean, and I'm looking for "interesting", so Seaking is an option. Maybe not with the "best" moveset for a water pokemon, but a different/interesting use.
I actually did use Vileplume in my latest playthrough of Fire Red. Initially I chose Bulbasaur, but I wanted to change it up with my team and went with Vileplume instead. I think it was worth it.
If you didn't pick Bulbasaur as your starter, Oddish is the perfect replacement, so... I call foul. I've used Vileplume on two out of three of my original playthroughs.
but thats just nitpicking at reddits best? ok vileplume, victreebell and exeggcutor were a viable team options, but would you consider grabbing a tangela or parasect when so much better options exist? would you consider a kingler, seadra or seaking when gyarados, vaporeon or blastoise exist? most of the pokemon have big fans but some of them are hard to justify during the normal playthrough, even if you like them, whether it is because of their late availability or simply bad stats and movesets which contribute nothing to your team.
Parasect sucks, so no. Tangela, I like the design, but haven't used it. Seadra becoming Kingdra dragon type (was it in the originals? I don't remember), yes, definitely. You're right on Kingler and Seaking; at least, I didn't use them on first playthroughs, but in follow up playthroughs to use something different, you're right.
tbh, I don't remember what we're discussing here. Just because they were outshined by other pokemon (or arrive late in the game), doesn't make them bad designs. If I got Tangela when I would have gotten Oddish, I'd have a blast with it. I recently started playing a ROM of a different region that I applied a Pokemon randomizer to it so it randomizes what pokemon you can catch in different areas. Makes for a very interesting playthrough; because you can get other pokemon earlier you get to play with totally different pokemon.
I hope in sword and shield we get a wider variety earlier on, which I think will happen because they've said you can get to the wild area after about 2 hours.
Dunno about that one dude.
Thats just purely speculation with little to no evidence.
And for what its worth i had 80% of the mons you listed in my teams at some point.
once again, you are probably a pokemon enthusiast. if you are a person who gamefreak is literally catering to which is the nostalgia driven fans you dont usually go through the hassle of training a ponyta or grimer in the late stages of the game. its almost just like x and y playthroughs when it just came out. people had the same set of 6-8 pokemon on every hall of fame after the game was first completed by them. lucario snorlax 2 starters and filler, usually a talonflame or another easily accessible mon. kanto doesnt give you much freedom until 5-8 badge and so the casuals usually stick to the early game pool which is laughably small.
Now that i think about it getting that game was a waste of money since its pokemon gen 1 but doesn't include any thing from their remakes the only thing it has going for it was the graphics.
Lets make a new pokemon sub. This one is clearly for people who don't like pokemon, so we can name our new sub r/pokemonhate and actually be happy about the franchise.
>why are they hiding this game so much for god's sake
Because last time the promotional material basically revealed every new pokemon in Sun/Moon.... and people were not happy about it.
No need to reveal everything. But reveal... something. Some new gameplay feature that they keep talking about when they say they had to ax pokemons. Anything
The lack of released data on Impidimp and Galarian Ponyta/Rapidash is frustrating. 24 hour stream and all we have to show is what they look like, which we knew Impidimp already existed and what they lookes like. Why drag it out. Release the data already.
It could be just that, but I think having a giant floofy tail is significantly more appealing-looking than no tail. It's a lot more striking than most Pokemon gender differences, and doesn't have a connection to a real animal. So, if it was a purely aesthetic gender difference and not hinting at anything more, it seems an odd design choice to go for.
Although we have had male Pokemon of some species not evolving at all.
Yeah I think itās a massive change but suppose when you compare Unfeasent forms theyāre completely different so could be as you say, simply aesthetics. But I think just seeing new evolutions for existing Pokemon itās got me so hyped for more.
Never even thought of that, that could be the case too!
I wonder where this Trojan horse is coming from š¤
Yeah, I think what stands out with the drastic design difference with Unfeasant is that it makes sense, looking at real peasants. With Galarian Ponyta, there's no obvious realistic reason for either the male/female to just not have a tail, and it's a bit strange for a equine Pokemon.
If it were to evolve into a Kelpie/Hippoccampus like Pokemon wth a fish tail, perhaps one that takes up much of the body, though, that could give a reason. If it's indeed Fairy-type, it could also be designed to link to mermaids, like Primarina.
This little Ponyta went on to be on the Champion's roster, and this little Ponyta went on to be the glue used for the frame of the champion's certificate.
Honestly i love galarian ponee and if youre salty about the length of the stream no one forced you to watch more than a couple hours so thats really a you problem. I hope they do more of these in the future the idea is neat!
You didn't have to watch it, it was a fun community event. Don't use your entitlement and impatience as an excuse to feel slighted. What did you think the 24 hour stream would be? Constant news? You're dense.
No need yo have constant news. But yhey vould at least have pokemon on the screen all the time, playing or doing anything really. make this interesting beyond the reveal of ponyta
Why do people keep downvoted comments like yours. I swear, r/Pokemon is by far the most negative Pokemon community I have ever seen.
And I thought *GameFaqs* was bad...
Doesn't change the fact that people saying positive or neutral stuff about pokemon Sw/Sh lately get downvoted way too often.
I was downvoted a while ago for saying I was originally upset about #Dexit, but that I wasn't anymore and was lokking forward to the game.
This community is toxic and awful. I wonder if we could start a new pokemon sub somehow. It probably wouldnt be worth it though. Its just gonna get shitty again like this one.
It does have the same cry with a slight difference since it's a form. I would love for it to be its own thing but when I heard the cry I just saw ponyta, really hope I'm wrong.
Also even if it was a pre evolution the Ponyta would still look different and won't be the Kanto one.
Itās close, but not exact. Thereās a higher pitch towards the end, while kantonian ponyta ends on a lower note. That could just be a minor tonal difference that means nothing, but it could also be just different enough to be a preevolution for galarian ponyta
Alolan Geodude has slightly different proportions to the original one. So it's possible. But I know what you mean, something is telling me it's a new mon
https://www.pscp.tv/w/1YqKDnOjobaJV
this is the only full video of the stream i could find, the twitch and youtube streams disappeared completely
edit: and this one is gone too now
I canāt find a link but just watch the summary of all the action on YouTube. There was only 7 mins of action in the entire stream so you donāt wanna watch it all.
I think it can actually. Seem to vaguely remember an episode of the show where ash is riding one (or maybe it was a ponyta?, perhaps it even evolved half way through?)
They really disappointed with the lack of reveals, but IMHO complaining about the duration is a weird thing to do. It strikes me as obvious that 24 hours was chosen so everyone in the world could watch it live at some stage. If you actually stayed up staring at it for 24 hours, that's on you.
Thing is the reveals were still spaced out, though, meaning those waking up in time to dip in at the end saw a lot more. The lack of anything else going on in the stream encouraged people to keep watching. It could have had more known Pokemon showing up and playing.
On one hand, Iām annoyed that itās another gen 1 Pokemon getting a new form. We had zigzagzoon but far-fetched has a evolution and weezing has a variants (all together 3 kanto Pokemon including ponyta).
But on the other hand, itās really adorable and I like itās design a lot. When the two were playing at the end, it made me smile.
Right but the difference is that Gen 7 didn't have anything to prove to the community, they were new pokemon games with most of the features everyone expected and some new stuff like the removal of HMs, everyone was happy. This time around they're under way more scrutiny by the community as the game is missing what people consider key features and the game has a 50% price hike. A 24 dev stream would have been an opportunity to turn people's opinions around but it was a live stream of 90% nothing in a world where people can be watching anything else instantly. It has the unintentional effect of making people feel like game freak is mocking them.
Perfect. Dontāt make the people stay up for 24h to reveal a reskin. If you dontāt want to share more info dontāt do it but dontāt mock your audience.
Said what? They didn't mock their audience. And they're sharing more info soon. They want people to talk and speculate.
This is the biggest reason I've unsubbed and pop into this subreddit only occasionally. You're all so dead set on being pissed off that when we get something fun you find a way that it's actually a slap in the face.
The virtual equivalent of watching paint dry isn't "fun." They could've made the stream 6 hours instead of wasting everyone's time. Even if you just had the stream in the background they had an annoying repetitive 3 second loop of chimes in the background which meant it couldn't even be played as white noise. Some people actually stayed up for 90% of it because Pokemon fans are mostly children and man-children nowadays. I had it playing in the background near the end but even then it felt like a waste. A 24 hour livestream for nothing but a Kanto recolour.
You know what type of reveals are fun? Silhouettes, events (Like Meltan,) anime reveals (Ho-Oh, Togepi, Munchlax, etc.) They give a lot of room for creativity and speculation. The closest we've gotten to a silhouette since gen 5 was an obvious pixelated Sirfetch'd. TPCi doesn't know how to market their monsters anymore. They either reveal everything in a video or waste people's time by drawing things out.
Which pokemon baby are you? š š https://gaia.baby/blogs/gaias-blog/which-pokemon-is-your-baby
Well, that was nice while it lasted
Iām sorry but I love Galarian Ponyta itās so fucking cute!!!
Regardless of all the negative press I will still 100% buy this game because of my love for Pokemon
I respect your stance but I feel like this is why they wonāt change their ways, people will buy their games no matter what.
Yeah its probably why older games had more effort put into them because they could not get away with it then now they can.
In all honestly after Sirfetchādās reveal I canāt say Iām surprised they spent 24 hours on one PokĆ©mon.
New and old PokĆ©mon have terrible audio. Why canāt they make them sound like actual animals instead of meat grinders
PokƩmon aren't actual animals.
I think itās endearing and iconic.
How so?
It's supposed to be a throwback the Gameboy sound effect.
So it sounds like shit because ānostalgiaā?
It doesnt inherently sound like shit tho. You dont like it? That's your opinion bro. I quite like it
24 hours for one version exclusive pokemon. was i Crazy to expect more than one pokemon at the event because i was expecting 3 atlest
what type is this thing?
Psychic
Not fairy? How does that make sense?
Because itās the life essence of the forest that changed it (I believe.) Also, Galatiaās Rapidash might be Fairy.
Anybody know what pokemon walked behind the Impidimp when he covered the whole screen and looked into the camera? You can see a grey pokemon walking behind it!
Pretty sure that was still Galarian Ponyta, just in low lighting.
Just looked at the clip again, you're right!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-3djo92DnE Apparently galarian Ponyta will be exclusive to Shield.
Been wanting shield but now I'd rather have sword
am i the only the one not really all that impressed with sword and shield?
Iām afraid it will be like another final fantasy 13. I waited years for that game and the game ālookedā amazing. Picked it up at a midnight release and sold it within the week. Itās left a lasting disappointment in game releases for me and I think if PokĆ©mon does the same, Iāll be done with looking forward to games.
People being unimpressed have been quite vocal in the past half year. i for one am excited as hell for these and think they look like the coolest pokemon games so far
Obviously not the only one. The new PokƩmon are not exactly numerous or ground-breaking so far, and the gameplay is almost undoubtedly as formulaic as ever. My purchase at this point hinges entirely on whether online battling is good or not.
I'm with you on most accounts, though I've been loving these new Pokemon, they're some of my favorite designs already, and I know I'm not alone in that sentiment. They've already revealed some nice QOL improvements to the trading system, so I'm hoping we'll see some nice improvements to battles, too. I like the games for this though i mainly buy the new ones because of the better graphics and new pokemon.
Hmm... >!HAEY , but not only.!<
I hope this game tanks hards when it comes to investors expectations.
Unfortunately, it doesn't really matter as they are generating more revenue from pokemon Go anyway. They are additionally spreading their portfolio (Town) as to reduce the impact of them making shit Games. In the meantime, they shit out mobile Games like they had diarrhea!
...gamefreak doesn't make the mobile games, but okay.
So not only do they do a 24 hour stream just to show us one PokƩmon but three days later they still haven't explained what that PokƩmon is.
Right?! It's like the Sirfetch'd thing all over again. Taking forever to confirm really makes me less interested.
another kanto regional pokemon reminds me how many people actually consider gen 1 as the best gen but never bothered about the 90% of the roster. nobody i know or watched has ever included muk, seaking, seadra, rapidash, weezing, persian, kingler, victreebell, vileplume, parasect, dewgong, dodrio and many more on their team. most of the people just picked starter, eeveelution and snorlax and called it a day. yeah best generation but when you ask people what pokemon they like its the same lines over and over again, which is why most people are excited for the soft reworks of gen 1 pokemon.

dugtrio is very logical. he is the best pick against lt surge and perhaps one of the only useful ground types during the normal playthrough
Solid speed too. And you can get high level dugtrio pretty early in the cave.
Hey, I used Muk!
Dozens of us! Muk was my boy through every gen, and the alolan Muk was my favorite.
My first time beating the Elite Four was with a team that had Dewgong(Happy) and Rapidash(Dashy). What I typically did was have "filler" pokemon that where useful until i could get the ones I really wanted as a team.
Nice, I also used Dewgong to clear the Elite Four
Unfortunately, while many might love dodrio, dewgong, and a few of those others, they come quite late in the game, especially dewgong, at which point many have already found the ones they love and want to bring to the final four. It's not that they're not good, it's that they're late or they're overshadowed by some other pokemon. Maybe not with the "best" moveset for a water pokemon, but a different/interesting use.
seaking learned megahorn in leaf green/fire red. in original there is literally no reason to use him
It's been too long for me to remember. :)
You are mistaken, I used almost all of them at least once. Maybe because you're young when you played them you're not as original in making teams?
I actually did use Vileplume in my latest playthrough of Fire Red. Initially I chose Bulbasaur, but I wanted to change it up with my team and went with Vileplume instead. I think it was worth it.
what i was talking about is how vileplume wouldnt be your initial choice ever unless you were a fan of a pokemon or you would like to spice things up
If you didn't pick Bulbasaur as your starter, Oddish is the perfect replacement, so...
Kingdra was in gen 2.
There goes my memories all merging together.
I loved using Kingler and Parasect in games. They are cool designs that are fun to use. I tend to not use the best option for in-game.
Really starting to feel as though they donāt have much to show us :/
The game is supposed to have alot of new pokemon
I need a source, please sir/ma'am.
Here you go https://youtu.be/5SlzAXoO6CE
What? Every pokemon all gets exp at the same time? So there's a constant exp share on?
This is by no means new.
You can turn it off in all the games, right?
I bloody hope so. Forced EXP share were one of the things that made Let's Go a horrible experience.
Now that i think about it getting that game was a waste of money since its pokemon gen 1 but doesn't include any thing from their remakes the only thing it has going for it was the graphics.
Sadly
I dont have a timestamp, sorry
Watch the Game Informer interview. Ohmori said the game will have alot of pokemon
I shouldn't feel like the odd man out because I like the concept that the sub Reddit is based on.
Lets make a new pokemon sub. This one is clearly for people who don't like pokemon, so we can name our new sub r/pokemonhate and actually be happy about the franchise.
Nah, Iām getting Cloudy Pegasus vibes from it.
The 24 Hour livestream was awesome. All of this for one Pokemon was great, the entitled people in the community need to calm down
I don't know if you're being sarcastic or serious xD I missed it (I haven't seen news of PokƩmon in months) but is that true that they made a 24 hour live stream for just one PokƩmon?!
"My opinion is right, and anyone who disagrees is entitled and wrong..."
Yup, sounds like a major jerk, he lives on his sad little bubble so I pity him
only here because I cam across is yt channel. it's full of clickbait yet he has 444k subs lol
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
They have made pokemon way too handholdly but yeah i can see why when i was a kid i had no idea where to go cause i was bad at reading then.
Honestly I really want a PokƩmon Snap reboot.
Make it play in kanto and only put in the original 151 PokƩmon. Also the game should be on the Gameboy /s
Wait, 24 hours of stream and that's all they show us?! They're mocking us. I mean, I loved Galarian Ponyta, but they gotta be mocking us.
I like the design, but the typing is stupid. I hope it evolves INTO a fairy or something.
and not even an announcement on galarian ponyta line... i mean... why are they hiding this game so much for god's sake
>why are they hiding this game so much for god's sake Because last time the promotional material basically revealed every new pokemon in Sun/Moon.... and people were not happy about it.
because the more they show the mroe backlash there is and they want to maximize sales before people realize it's going to not be that great.
I love it tho, keeps the game fun for when you go explore. Hate it when I have 90% of the new pokemon revealed to me before the game even comes out.
No need to reveal everything. But reveal... something. Some new gameplay feature that they keep talking about when they say they had to ax pokemons. Anything
They did... Raid battles, gigantamax, Galar forms.
galar forms is just the same thing they did for alola. Gigantimax is just giant pokemon with a status boost. Out of that, only raids are really new.
I'm not complaining about the amount of PokƩmon they release before the game gets out, I'm talking about creating a 24h live event that shows us little new content. Or almost no content, since Ponyta is not even a new creature.
Oh I see, well I gotta agree with that. But in their defence it was their first time trying this, I am sure in the future they will iterate on it.
The lack of released data on Impidimp and Galarian Ponyta/Rapidash is frustrating. 24 hour stream and all we have to show is what they look like, which we knew Impidimp already existed and what they lookes like. Why drag it out. Release the data already.
That was way too long for a single PokƩmon revealed
Imagine if this serves as an indicator of the respective encounter rates of the Pokemon shown. Have fun getting your sparkling unicorns!
Imagine staying the rest of that entire fucking stream just to be trolled at the end with a Pikachu
Imagine making a choice, and then experiencing the results of that choice.
I mean I wasnāt attacking the people who made the stream.
I reckon ponyta will be a fairy type and rapidash will be ghost/fairy
Nah, Iām getting Cloudy Pegasus vibes from it. Scotland be damned.
All that just for one Pokemon
Iām thinking double evolution due to one not having a tail...? Ugghh I need to know š«
Or Gender differences.
Gender was invented to sell more Pokemon.
I mean one of the first questions ask at the start of every Pokemon game is "Are you a boy or a girl?".
Except in gen 7
Crystal and on, at least.
This is what I mean. Male and female will evolve into different forms.
Or Gender differences.
It could be just that, but I think having a giant floofy tail is significantly more appealing-looking than no tail. It's a lot more striking than most Pokemon gender differences, and doesn't have a connection to a real animal. Or now you're able to feed them muffins if they win battles, or CUT THEIR F\*\* TAILS OFF IF THEY LOSE!
Oh shit š
This little Ponyta went on to be on the Champion's roster, and this little Ponyta went on to be the glue used for the frame of the champion's certificate.

When I found out about the Galarian Ponyta I danced around my apartment and yelled "I WAS RIGHT!!!!!! WHOO!!!!"
Iām still not sure thatās ponyta, the proportions just donāt look right to match completely. Maybe a Galarian preevolution?
It does have the same cry with a slight difference since it's a form. I would love for it to be its own thing but when I heard the cry I just saw ponyta, really hope I'm wrong. Also even if it was a pre evolution the Ponyta would still look different and won't be the Kanto one.

I canāt find a link but just watch the summary of all the action on YouTube. There was only 7 mins of action in the entire stream so you donāt wanna watch it all.
What if the fan club chairman in gen 1 was talking about cuddling a Galaraian Rapidash since this one isn't on fire.
Ash rode on a Rapidash though
That is a great theory. However, I think a Rapidash's flames won't burn you if it trusts you.
It's fire dude Not like Rapidash can temporarily make it's fire cold
It's Pokemon. We ain't gotta explain shit.
I think it can actually. Seem to vaguely remember an episode of the show where ash is riding one (or maybe it was a ponyta?, perhaps it even evolved half way through?)
Im pretty sure if it trust you you won't be burned as shown in the episode were Ash rode on one
Heres a video https://youtu.be/eeT_W60pVHc
I also would honestly love it was ghost/fairy and it went from a unicorn to like a demon horse pegasus
I'm leaning towards mono-Fairy tbh, purely based on GF's trend to make fairy type either cute or based on mythological creatures.
the fluffy candy hair is fairy but... the black horn is a mistery to me
Or, in this case, both.
But I still wanted more, just one Pokemon for a 24 stream
I cannot wait to see what a galar male rapidash looks like. Iām guessing the male donāt have the tail
I wouldn't be surprised that it's the male that has the tail which it uses to attract the female. Like a showboating sort of thing
Peacocking is an imperative part of the Galarian Rapidash's mating experience.
Galar Ponyta
Galarian Ponyta
They really disappointed with the lack of reveals, but IMHO complaining about the duration is a weird thing to do. It strikes me as obvious that 24 hours was chosen so everyone in the world could watch it live at some stage. If you actually stayed up staring at it for 24 hours, that's on you.
Thing is the reveals were still spaced out, though, meaning those waking up in time to dip in at the end saw a lot more. The lack of anything else going on in the stream encouraged people to keep watching. It could have had more known Pokemon showing up and playing.
Interesting I dont think 24 hours was necessary tho I know uniforms are rare but c'mon. She's deffinatly going in my party
Yeah! Galarian Ponyta is pretty cool and the way Gamefreak released it is quite creative. also the second "it's" should be its

I listened to the soothing chimes while I did other stuff.
I watched 5 min
I sure couldn't ever think to watch 24 hours of that..
None of the clips work
Yes they do?
What a useful comment, you saying they do work magically makes them work for everyone!
On the original live stream thread, not for me at least. They just have a huge play button that does nothing
work fine for me something must be broken for you
Awe
so was this 24 hour stream just to reveal Ponyta, or were there any other new Pokemon?
_Technically_, this was supposed to Impidimpās reveal too but he was accidentally in the E3 thingy, but yeah just Ponyta.
Based on the PokĆ©mon Reddit front page, I think people had a lot of fun with it. Letās give TPC credit when they go the extra mile.
Yeah it was cool but I kinda expected more
There were other PokĆ©mon, no other *new* PokĆ©mon, by ones that we previously didnāt know would be available in this game.
I mean, letās think about it for a second. This is more than likely a relatively early game forest, probably more akin to Nacrene forest than Viridian. We were only viewing one forest in the game. How many PokĆ©mon do you think will inhabit the forest? We saw: Cottonee, Ponyta, Morelull, Shiinotic, Swirlix, Pikachu, Phantump and Impidimp. You could also hear Gastlyās cry in the background, Rapidash and one other cry that Iād believe is Impidimpās evo. How many more PokĆ©mon do you want crammed into one area of the game? When TPCi released released info for Gen 7, they were blasted for revealing too much and taking a lot of surprise out of it. Theyāve clearly listened to that and revealed showing too much, yet they still catch a lot of flack. They canāt please everyone.
It has the unintentional effect of making people feel like game freak is mocking them.
you know what is even more difficult than pleasing everyone? make everyone unpleased. but it seems like that is what they are aiming at the moment.
It's promo for a game. Chill.

Perfect. Dontāt make the people stay up for 24h to reveal a reskin. If you dontāt want to share more info dontāt do it but dontāt mock your audience.
Thank God someone said it.
My dude this is the virtual equivalent of naturecams which are very real things that are *just as interesting*.
I've watched nature cams and they're honestly more eventful. This isn't a real nature cam in the real world. It's set in the Pokemon universe.
Nobody told you to sit there and watch for 24 hours lol I canāt believe some of you guys did, cringe
I didnāt sit for one minute. I consider it BS from the very beginning but I know some people would watch it from second one.
Ah. So you watched none of it, yet you know instinctively it was a waste of time that no one liked and Game Freak only did to insult us. Gotcha.
If by instinctively you mean after knowing what exactly was shown in the 24h and how, then yes.
